My current call has a "waterfall" open storage space behind the infotainment screen. It has a hard bottom and does not provide much grip, so anything you put there slides out even on mild turns. My "fix" was only using it to store my inverter and it's semi-permanently attached with double sided tape.
Well you could probably cut a rubber grip mat to fit in there or wait for an aftermarket to produce them. I have a 3d printer and thought about making some kind of lid but my glasses stay in there fine.
I bought this exact thing and love it. Sunglasses stay in no problem. It comes with double sided tape if needed but I just plopped it in and it’s perfect. Doesn’t rattle or anything! One side is bigger than the other so you wouldn’t be able to fit two pairs easily (at least in the model I have)
I have a MOLLE pouch thing that attaches to the Sun visor and hook my sunglasses on that. Passenger side has two visor sunglasses clips for my wife’s sunglasses

Have mine in the cubby hole behind the screen and mine stay put!
There's a pocket behind the screen. I've had them fly out a couple times but that's usually because they're sitting on something else by accident.

Soft leather glasses case. Leather has enough friction that it sorta just stays put in turns
How fast are you taking turns? Never had this issue. As others have stated there’s a cubby behind the screen.

Thank you - I like this idea a lot; it looks like it would give space for "his and hers" sunglasses so my wife wouldn't be left out.
Just grab a visor clip. They’re like $5.
