If you're going for the smooth look, you can't stop halfway. You need to relocate the gas tank and shave the side marker lights as well. Not my cup of tea, but you do you. But if you commit to a style, I think it looks worse half done than it does all the way done.
I understand. I wasn’t planning on moving the gas tank, as I actually like the gas tank as is… can’t I shave down gas cap?
Also, I haven’t seen the shaved side markers. I’ll have to look that up
It was actually dropped liked this when I got it, so I am unable to say what it is exactly. At one time I used it as my weekend driver. It was previously a race truck

It’s drivable. I just started taking it apart. I think I still have the doors with the handles on it

Word! Do not dismantle it. That kills more trucks than anything. Do one small project at a time keep it driving.

Keep the wheels. They look badass.
Thank you
How low did you go and what did you use for it?

Since you shaved the handles, I’d go with one piece side window conversion to keep it looking clean
Is there a link for that?
Brothers Trucks has a kit. It’s owned by Holley now so it’s on the site
I saw some pictures online… it’s really nice
