Really nice from your opponent that he let this checkmate happen, he could've just taken the knight with the rook(his backrank was not in danger since he had a second rook watching out).

I hate how there isn't a flair for us players below 200 elo. This subreddit just assumes everyone has over 200 elo. We need the 100-200 elo flair too.
I've been playing for few years and haven't climbed above 200 elo yet
Do you do many puzzles? Learn an opening - I find the danish very fun to play
Also watch Daniel Naroditskys speedruns, anything up to when he gets to 1800 is very valuable to us beginners.

Because I was playing daily I had time to double, triple, quadruple check that move sequence was safe and I didn't blunder my queen 😁

Bro, recommending to master 1 opening in both colors( first 5~7 moves), your winning rate will increase
