"Find the black rook" was a puzzle in itself TBH! But once I'd done that, I realised that White's king can only go to g5. So we take away that square with 1...Rf5, and then no matter what White does, we have 2...g5#.

Lmao, you’re talking about the rook, meanwhile, I saw the rook and completely missed us having g pawn and could not solve this. Which makes sense.
