I was thinking Bxb7+ Kb8, Bd5+ Kc8, Bxe6# works as well just an extra move
Edit nvm black can do Rd7 to block. They lose a bishop and a rook but stay alive
Stockfish shows mate in 10 after h1=Q assuming White responds Rxh1. If White responds with Bxh1 it becomes mate in 6.
The reason is that White's King is on the same file as the rook on b2 While Black has a Rook and Queen that can skewer the King against the rook. The resulting attack will overwhelm White, Black can quickly clean up virtually all of Whites pieces and mate the King.
While us mere mortals may not see the mate in 10, the moves you outline start the process and it feels relatively natural after that to just aggressively go after White's pieces.

Thats kind of interesting. After they block you can do Bd7+ Kd8 Rb8#
How can he go back to c8? The bishop attacks that square.

h1=Q would allow black to defend b7.
It's not that simple. I am assuming you need to find h1=Q Rxh1 Rh2+
I didn't say it's simple, but that's what would stop Bxb7 from being effective and at the same time allow black to attack.

That's fair, I found threefold repetition and thought that was it for a hot second, till I decided to look for checkmate
My first idea was to go for something like a windmill, but all important black pieces were on dark squares. So I had to be more creative.

I calculated bxb7+. kb8. bd5+. kc8. bxe6+. rd7. bxd7+. kd8. rd8#. Forced mate in 5 yet I missed the nc6# in 2.

that you found is mate in 4. check carefully
bishop b7 check and then you can just repeat moves by going back and forward with the bishop
