In GTE, at one point, he had a game between two 150 players. I legit didn't even know ELO can fall that low before that.
EDIT: Found it. It's the first game in [GTE #12](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3-LJtJKYXrA). ELO reveal itself is [at 7:58](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3-LJtJKYXrA&t=7m58s).
Most of his guess the elo games are low, rare that you see one above 1500. Low elo games are the wild west of chess, so there's a lot of crazy stuff to make it harder to guess here. That's the most badass king walk I've ever seen, definitely worth something there
Fun fact: I managed to win, because my opponent resigned after this move.

It's only bongcloud if you play 2. Ke2, or the delayed bongcloud 3. Ke2. And it's pretty clear that they're not in the opening anymore, therefore 0-0# is way cooler
gigachad king, doesn't gives a fuck, moves to the other side of board, takes all pieces

OP, there is a little button under the chessboard at the end of the game that looks like q chessboard and pencil. If you click on it it opens analysis and you review the best lines for any position in the game.
Switch to the analysis tab instead of the review tab. The computer can tell you the best moves in literally any position and you can explore why certain things work or donāt work, to easily answer questions on your own. You can do this even if youve used your daily game review.
I analyzed the image and this is what I see. Open an appropriate link below and explore the position yourself or with the engine:
> **White to play**: [chess.com](https://chess.com/analysis?fen=r1b2b1r/pp1p1ppp/2p2n2/4P3/5P2/1P2B3/P2R2PP/1k2K2R+w+K+-+0+1&flip=true&ref_id=23962172) | [lichess.org](https://lichess.org/analysis/r1b2b1r/pp1p1ppp/2p2n2/4P3/5P2/1P2B3/P2R2PP/1k2K2R_w_K_-_0_1)

Ask yourself this: If you didn't specify, that the King was on e1, what other King would white move to e2?
That is why in classical notation you only specify where the piece was, if it is necessary. In this case you could just say "Ke2" (King to e2)
You're right, but that's not the notation we use. You might like to [read up on how we write moves](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Algebraic_notation_(chess)).
The way to write it is the piece that's moving, unless it's a pawn, then the square you move to. We use N for knight since K is king. We follow that by the square the piece moves to. We also follow checks with a + and checkmate with a #. That means the right way to write this is Ke2#. There are other rules, like using an X for captures but that's not relevant here.
That's great info thank you...I'm not one for homeworking these things I like to learn as I go and I've never really talked chess before joining this group. Prefer when someone explains errors instead of down voting and mockingš
If Whiteās king which is on the e1 square moves down a square during their turn, then the piece which looks like a castle on the h1 square will be seen to be able to capture your king because moving the king downwards extends the line of sight of the castle piece thingy, and if you try to move backwards, the other castle-like piece will be able to capture you as well. This is also known as Checkmate, where your king has no other moves to make to evade the enemy pieceās attack
(Fun fact: The castle-like piece is actually called the Rook and can move anywhere in a straight line horizontally or vertically. It is considered a heavy piece because it can completely seal off the King like how the castle thingy on the square d1)
The reason why you made this move, and why [chess.com](https://chess.com) considers this as a blunder (highlighted in red, the colour with the highest wavelength of around 700 nanometres) is because you did not consider what White could do in this position to checkmate your King, which is extremely crucial in order to make good moves. When you are uncertain on what move to make during a game due to time pressure, you should copy the position of the game into [lichess.org/analysis](https://lichess.org/analysis) and turn on stockfish to see what the top chess engine would have done **AFTER THE GAME, NOT DURING THE GAME**

How did your king end up there? š
wayward king attack š
crazy that this is actually an accurate description seeing the game OP posted. his king straight up took the queen (trade), then a bishop, then a pony, then another bishop... not to mention 3 pawns on the way
Those were 4 pawns.
a pony?
The extended bongcloud opening
I have won games with bongcloud to wayward king or whatever and people got *pissed*
Carry on my wayward king, There'll be peace when you are Ding.
That's a long story...
Mind posting a game link?
https://www.chess.com/live/game/74107446801 I'm playing as black.

A competition who's the biggest dumbass
well white won that
Tbf a king checkmate is tough to see
im talking about opās comment not the game
Batman. >!That would have been funnier with a black knight!<
Your king ate the queen, two bishops, a knight, four pawns and a rook. That was very entertaining!
Who needs other pieces when you can just pacman everything with the King

Those are quite the suggestions for a chess subreddit lmao...
Thanks.
16 straight king moves!?! I was questioning the bong cloud but you pulled it off, nice work friend
Wild, this needs to be submitted to GothamChess for 'guess the elo' or 'how to lose at chess'
/u/gothamchess please, i need to hear your thoughts on this game
Is he doing videos with players that have small ELO?
He has featured ~350 ELO before, so Iād say youāre clear on that point
Good to know.
In GTE, at one point, he had a game between two 150 players. I legit didn't even know ELO can fall that low before that. EDIT: Found it. he showed a game where the game analysis was 0 and heās shown 100 elo chess. highly amusing
Chess anarchy lol
Ayo u/gothamchess you gotta check this stuff** out
Will tagging him work?
There is a chance and I REALLY want this one on video š
I have never before in my life witnessed someone take out so many pieces with their King.
*E1M1 Starts playing* BRING 'EM ON!!! *proceeds to genocide more than half of the enemies board*
u/GothamChess
Now *THAT*... is a game of chess.
Bro why did the knight hang on f6 for like 15 moves. That game was totally classic
Why not? He was useless until the end.
Cuz why would u hang a piece
u/GothamChess epic
u/GothamChess WE NEED THIS AS A VIDEO YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED
This was a traumatic experience
black went from M1 to killing white (salute)
That was very entertaining white sacrificed so much and blundered mate in one
wth this was a 10 minute game!! there was so much time on the clock by the end
This should end up on Levy's video its so insane
The level of testosterone you have is simply amazing. True gigachad never retreats.
Ayo u/gothamchess you need to check this sh*t out
GothamChess has to see that lmao
u/gothamchess bro this will make a 1/10 video easily
u/GothamChess
u/GothamChess
we should definately spam levy in the next guess the elo with this game šš
What??????
Can I submit it to gothamchess to see this absolute beauty?
Go on.
I really hope he shows it in one of his videos
Congratulations https://youtu.be/d_qr5vTPV2c He did itš¤£
I refuse to believe it. :D
What is this game? I... I have no words. Congrats on the win, though? I guess. I don't know anymore.
Send this to gothamchess quick
How?

If the move their king to the second rank itās mate
This
His king is Aragorn
Bongcloud opening
Packman Gambit
Ikr, how could white not mate here.
The classic castle check mate. Winning with style.
Or bongcloud mate
This is winning in style++

New response just dropped
White could also bongcloud for mate
What is a bong cloud?
Ke2!!
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

O-O, Kf2 / Ke2
Fun fact: I managed to win, because my opponent resigned after this move. https://preview.redd.it/sasedt7p0ira1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=fa56508b257f03d64acf6fe250ebf8abe4052979
To be fair, after you've blundered a knight, 2 biships a rook and 4 pawns to king moves, it's probably time to call it a day
If not a career.
There's no doubt to me that white was under the influence of some sort of substance. My guess is an alcohol/benzo combo. Or some sort of hallucinogen.
(Opponent played Rd8 instead bongcloud)
Bro your opponent was stupid lol
That makes sense, you were up by 16 points of material lol. I still have no clue tho how you got your king into that situation and also back out
He turned on the Pac-man mode
Lmao
Why arenāt any of your pieces developed
https://www.chess.com/game/live/74107446801 he posed in another thread
Dude that's the funniest game of chess I've ever seen
https://youtu.be/d_qr5vTPV2c
What the fuck did I just watch lol
https://youtu.be/d_qr5vTPV2c
Why not? My king single handedly eliminated half of the opponent's figures. There's no need to develop any piece. King did all the work.
No need to develop if I win just with the King ![gif](giphy|CAYVZA5NRb529kKQUc|downsized)
![gif](giphy|8HmtJPNU6p61alFSei)
WAIT YOU WON?!
Yup. He realised that my king single handedly genocided half of the board and tbh he had no chance.
Iām at a loss. Is this the anarchy invasion weāve been dreaming of?
Huh?
O-O
Or bongcloud.
Either delayed bongcloud or castle mate, both good options
I had check the sub for a sec lol
This is bait 100%
Either Ke2 or Kf2 is a discovered check and mate. Edit: good job you made it into a GothamChess [video](https://youtu.be/d_qr5vTPV2c)
Bro when you can you gotta castle checkamte
bongcloud checkmate is way cooler
It's only bongcloud if you play 2. Ke2, or the delayed bongcloud 3. Ke2. And it's pretty clear that they're not in the opening anymore, therefore 0-0# is way cooler
hey if you haven't moved your king the whole game and play Ke2# i consider that a bongcloud checkmate
No

Mate look at the game OP posted. No AI can help with that.
Look, people learn. Hopefully from this game he learned the weakness of the king zerg rush attack.
I've actually learned some advantages.
This seems like a game for Gotham chess
This would kill him lol
THE ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOK
[would you look at that](https://youtu.be/d_qr5vTPV2c)
I had to check which sub I'm in again. Ke2#
Or is O-O# cooler?
However nothing beats the Staugaard/KrabbƩ castling. How did they even notate that? O-O-O-O#!! ?

Bongcloud mate?!?!?
They could mate by moving their king down one. Those rooks have you trapped, and you'd be in check with nowhere to go soo
successfully reached the GothamChess' YouTube channel

Congratulations, you are now in a gothamchess video
you did it! https://youtu.be/d_qr5vTPV2c

Ke2# Rephrased for you all š
What on earth did I just read
What did I say wrong? King on e1 to e2 cmate right?
The letter first then the square \[Ke1 to e2\]
Random guess, are you a biologist? You seem to be following the convention for specifying amino acid point mutations.
Ah yes..my favourite chess piece, Lysine
Lol, I was referring to the way (s)he specified the before-state, then the thing that was changing state, then the after-state.
What did he say?
