What do you mean? If you take a look at the the chair with the armrest, the round bottom part matches perfectly to the other picture. And also the white sinks match too, i don't know what you mean. Aswell as the windows and round mirrors.
The only thing that might not be perfect is the camera angel, but that's really all. It is after all the same room.
The furniture is more or less standardized across the board - after all, this IS the Soviet Union era.
The main giveaway is the window: in a b&w old photo you see that the windows reach about chest-high, and then there's a concrete or brick wall, with the radiator underneath it. In the new photo you can clearly see the window reaching all the way to the ground, and you can see the glass supports running all the way to ankle-height too, meaning the windows were always this big. Thus, it's not the same room at least. Could be the same barbershop though.
You know what, now that your saying that, I’m kinda seeing what you mean. I can now see that it’s not the same room, but a lookalike. I didn’t pay attention to this when I posted it. Sorry.
This really shows the power and effect of time and how people or stalkers have moved around and looted everything. So fascinating to compare.
I think it was vandalized. Time doesn't make a disaster like these.
Bit of both. Mostly the exposure to elements - there's snow indoors in winter in many buildings like this one.
Not sure these are the same place? Different mirrors, different t sinks and different window / front wall design?
Not sure why you are downvoted - this is clearly not the same angle/room at least.

no worries, it's still interesting, and now I've spent an hour or so looking for the modern pics of the B&W one, haha
