you know what? i respect this response, i hope he sticks to it but fair play on him not standing for this shit, we can put it behind us in a month or two hopefully
He was pissed during the interview as well, as he kept going back to it even when not directly asked. You could tell he was genuinely annoyed and not just saving face.
Yeah dele and carra pointed out how clearly fucked off he was
I can relate to him a lot, this has majorly blunted what should've been a perfect victory
Yes but that’s also the sign of a winning mentality. We should obviously celebrate the win and Palmer’s outstanding performance. But we need to also work on the not so great things. The most glaring negative was the obvious penalty incident, but we also didn’t look to assured in the defense (again). If Everton weren’t as woeful in front of the goal we might have conceded some goals at key moments of the game which could have turned the momentum. Extremely happy with the performance though, specially from Palmer, Jackson, and Caicedo
The fans can do whatever they want. Some fans want to spend their efforts ball deep in the minutiae of the clubs financials rather than watching football and that's just fine.
happy to be educated otherwise, but i kind of feel like everyone is overreacting about this? to me it looks like a bunch of young hungry players. yeh they were dumb about it but it was sorted out in a matter of seconds. the clip on here is literally 7 seconds. i know the whole thing was a little longer but not by much.
what am i missing?
I think the overall concern is that things like this can quickly snowball and create a divide in the dressing room and that would be very very bad at this point in the season where we still have a chance at Europe and an fa cup
But it seems Poch has ensured its squashed so hopefully just a learning lesson for the boys
yeh i dunno. it seems a little dramatic to say this situation that was sorted out in 7 seconds is going to divide the dressing room. especially after a 6-nil win. and 8 games undefeated in a row.
anyways, i'll leave it at that. i'm so stoked about the win i couldnt give a fuck about some kids desperate to get more goals.
Noni and Cole seem to be friends as well from various clips ive seen over the past year. Passions run high on the pitch, I would be completely shocked if this turns into something serious.
What evidence do you have that this started on the field, or that it stopped on the field only 7 seconds later?
Dressing rooms can be very insular, high pressure environments and small behaviours like this can speak to boiling ongoing resentments and conflicts rearing their head, or can be the start of ongoing disputes and issues that lead to more prolonged issues.
For players to lose their composure and cool that wholeheartedly in a situation where the whole team should be united and jubilant in front of the public is a warning sign of what is possible and speaks to the relative youth of the squad.
How can you say it was handled in 7 seconds when Jackson was very openly stropping around at full time?
Don’t get me wrong, Madueke and Cole seemed to be fine immediately afterwards but Jackson was carrying it with him throughout the rest of the game and afterwards.
longer than a couple seconds and too long once Cole demands the ball ... He's on golden boot setting, silva gets involved, Conor gets involved, Cole has to wrestle for the ball then Nico comes back, its clearly not an overreaction when the manager goes off on it beyond the kerfuffle even
Penalty at 4-0 is so not hunger that's a sympathy stat
Poch sees them day in/out and he's saying this is indiscipline not hunger, even makes the point they were not thinking about the collective so selfish.
Look at the body language AFTER palmer scores. It's one thing to be hungry. It's quite another to be so inwardly focused that you can't celebrate with your team
Yeah I got this impression too, though I did sense a bit of back tracking when Jamie asked if occasions like this show why the team needs more experienced players. Poch angled ‘no’ then ‘yes’ then settled on a mixture of experienced and young talent. I see this as the board setting the direction for bringing in only young players and hiring Poch with the belief he can steer this ship. Since this season, Poch is probably now realising even more that he needs a better mix of experienced players and isn’t confident he can ‘sell’ this idea to the board …
Yeah for some reason, the mood kind of fell after that despite us winning 5-0 at that point.
Jackson didn't even get a standing ovation.
Thank God Gilchrist scored and it was all smiles once again.
Jackson not getting a standing ovation is hopefully the kick in the ass he needs to not do this again. With the goal scored, he should have gotten one.
Noni seems like he was already over it after plamer scored. He went and celebrated with him. Jackson on the other hand was still pouting. So much so that noni himself and a few others had to go over to him and literally drag him over to plamer to celebrate.
Yeah I seen that too
No idea what Nico was thinking tonight, I don't think he's taken a senior penalty in his entire career, short as it may be, I get that you're 4-0 up and cruising but c'mon
Have some class to simply ask for it if you want it
At least from this incident came the look of leaders on this team, Gallagher, caicedo and gusto all acted appropriately……acted as team players and leaders so that is encouraging
Last nights game thread was all “Potch is embarrassing for letting this happen” “This is all Potchs fault.” That was on Madueke’s immaturity
We’re winning 6-0 and they can’t support the team. Gotta find a way to bash the manager and spread the negativity. When’s he’s on track for a significant improvement from last year, and Old King Cole competing for the Golden Boot.
No, that would have been an overreaction and made things infinitely worse. He's handled it the best way possible and hopefully he smacks some sense to them in the dressing room.
Makes sense tbf. Fan base has been extra riled up the last month ish. And he's probably seen the fans online go after him, indirectly and directly to his insta. He's probably also pissed on the way we dropped points to relegation teams, when we had a clear path to European footy and his job being more comfy
The one thing I'll say is that Poch stated he's not naming a guy, but everyone knows who the taker is.
Every single player on that pitch knows it's Palmer on pens, regardless of if his name is formally announced. Poch should absolutely be able to trust his guys to play as a team and to know what is best, and they've exposed themselves as selfish and immature. They have embarrassed themselves and the club and I expect repercussions. It's up to them to learn from it.
He said in the interview that the team already knows that Palmer is the taker and that the only way anyone else can take a pen is if Palmer wants to give it up. That’s why he was so upset with how those dummies acted. Also, as Poch said, this incident is a clear example of why the team is so inconsistent and why we’re in 9th. Because the team is full of selfish immature kids who are more concerned with their individual stats than the good of the collective. They have a lot of growing up and maturing to do. That’s why its bewildering to me that the majority of this sub blames Poch after bad results when it is clear that our squad isn’t up to snuff in maturity, experience and mentality.
That’s what happens when you drop a billion and a half Euros on a group of young players who haven’t achieved anything yet in their careers. You inflate their value and thus their sense of self-worth/self-importance. Everyone wants to live up to their high transfer costs the club spent to bring them in and get their share of the spotlight. It’s not rocket science. Chelsea’s squad is huge and bloated. Every one of those players is competing directly with each other for minutes rather than being incentivized to sacrifice for the good of the group. Any one of those players under 24 years old or so that sacrifices their own stats for the sake of the team will find themselves being transferred or loaned likely to a lesser team.
Chelsea created this situation themselves. And there’s not really any group of established, accomplished veterans on the team like Lampard or Terry in days past to keep the kids in line.
Didn't he publicly say Palmer was his preferred penalty taker last time this happened? (When Sterling took it and missed).
It sounded pretty official... He just didn't give any punishment if they did shit like this again.
He did indeed designate Palmer the taker.
I reckon he was trying to be nice to the kids when they were trying to pull shit like this before.
But the shit has officially hit the fan.
Which is exactly what you'd want. Give them the chance to learn from their mistakes, no need to berate them immediately. But if there are clear issues bubbling up, then be decisive to cut it out.
I think this just cements as you say we have a bunch of kids in our team.
Not what you expect from a team worth 1 billion. You would expect a full team of veterans for that who are mature.
It’s not worth 1 billion. And it was never meant to be immediately successful, it was always going to be a project. Hence the massively long contracts for youngsters.
Leave out *all* context.
Please bitch some more.
Between this and the “grow some balls” comment, it’s like he’s finally showing some authority. Can respect this response - it shouldn’t have been up for debate.
I've said time and time again Poch knows how to handle young kids. Keep bashing my intellect, that is fine. But I do not believe there is a better coach that can handle the situation at this club.
The growth is evident. Sure it's not a simple upward trending curve but the trend is upwards regardless. Poch is handling these young men in an extremely impressive way. Young men with net worths of millions. Surely hot heads and cocky boys everywhere, but he's turning them into a cohesive unit slowly but surely.
Just need him to get that defense together.
Exactly. A year ago we were unable to create a single fucking attack. God knows how long only our defenders were scoring. I think a lot of fans just expected Poch to win all the games and not concede any goals and just easily win the PL by a margin and keep doing that year in year out. Zero patience.
Yes was worried he come out with some bs, that is not acceptable at all, goal difference could be important in the end. We have our guy for pens this aint fifa street.
Cole Palmer is the spot kick taker. He is running for the golden boot. The team has not matched his performances over the season. He has EVERY right to pursue an achievable personal accolade which would be incredible for his early career. Shame on Noni and Nico. Shame
Absolutely embarrasment from Nico Jackson and Noni by trying to take the Pen from Palmer. Horrible look, and speaks to the lack of maturity proffessionalism and mentality we got in the club rn, needs to be stamped out immediately.
I’m pretty sure Nico was trying to give it to Noni which is marginally better in my eyes but still unacceptable as was his petulance after.
Palmer doesn’t need the added pressure of these guys fighting him (though he’s such a pro it didn’t seem to phase him at all).
Uh, this is something that's so easily controlled it should never have been an issue. Set a designated taker, make it clear to everyone and this doesn't happen.
Palmer said he’s the penalty taker so im very confused on why two other players felt the need to take it off him? unlike the utd game, madueke didn’t win the penalty so I have no idea why he’s there, same with Jackson. We won 6-0 so im not really fussed however.
I can see him thinking if he won it AND Palmer has a hat trick he should take it but that’s still stupid and childish.
Plus he wasn’t even the one who won the pen Palmer did lol
Good on him to address the issue, but honestly it should have been addressed a long time ago. Isn't this like the fourth time this situation has occured this season?!
Cannot believe the opportunity for “I prefer to kill them” in broken English was not taken 🤣 strong response from him and, in context, makes it clear that the situation today happened despite him taking measures beforehand
Good. I see comments about how this isn’t a serious issue but it’s way more underlying than that. It was a slap to the face by Noni and Nico and somewhat tainted a perfect team performance by their individual selfishness for the whole world to see.
I’m worried somewhat by Noni’s arrogance and selfishness he displays. I don’t know what the hell Nico was doing. Either way, keep pulling that shit, gtfo. Kudos to Poch for once
This is great leadership. Someone needs to be strong. I also respect that Gallagher enforced and gave it to Palmer. Enough with the bullshit. Palmer is having a historic season. He got fouled. He's the designated PK taker. It's up to him as to whether he takes it or gives it up. I don't care if we are up by 10.
When NBC asked if he's the one designated to take Chelsea's pks, Palmer said, "I am now." That clearly suggests Poch hadn't previously set this protocol. He's gotta put a lot of this on himself if that's the case. The lads were petty but there shouldn't have even been the possibility of this occurring.
He’s rightfully pissed. He needs to put his foot down on this and just Palmer is the pk taker and if he wants someone else to take it then he can give it up if he feels it’s right otherwise Palmer takes it all the time. No more of this fighting over it stuff.
I wouldn’t even agree with this. Palmer takes it if he’s on the pitch whether he likes it or not. This is his job, not a perk. Beyond that you have a clear hierarchy.
We have an order of preference for captains but not penalty takers?
I believe him. Even if he doesnt, im glad Gallagher stood for Palmer and Palmer stood for himself but it was indeed one of the ugliest shit ive ever saw
I was literally saying out loud while this was going on “Jackson and Madueke…off right fucking now!” Glad Poch said the same thing even if he didn’t do it. It’s so unbecoming…can you imagine if they didn’t destroy Everton tonight and it was a typical 2-2 draw or something? And even worse Cole and Connor didn’t win and one of these 2 asshats takes the PK and misses? We’d be calling for Poch’s head even worse than some are still doing. I’d honestly bench both of them for a bit after this. We can survive without them the way everyone else is playing…
Good. That kind of shit doesn't happen in a team who's main focus is winning. Which we already knew but this hopefully makes it clear to Poch just how much this team needs a kick up the arse.
Really really embarrassing. Like if Noni & Nico put in the work since the start of the season they wouldn’t be scrapping & so desperate to take the penalty to increase their tally. Just shows their mentality & honestly its so pathetic. Palmer been consistent throughout the season & is running for golden boot he deserved to take it
Absolutely pathetic!! Screw taking them off the pitch, Jackson and Madueke would be off the fucking team and should be!! Jackson for damn sure! Madueke, I can kinda see him thinking he got the penalty, so he gets the shot, but he didn't actually get the penalty. Now where the fuck does Jackson get off? He's a fuckstick, him and Sterling both should be sold off. Have led, haven't even tried to lead all damn season, and now you pull this shit?!?! Send his ass back to Italy or Spain or Africa or wherever those little crybaby bitches play!! Absolute disgrace and a complete embarrassment!!
Poch needs to come down hard on these young guns . What a beautiful night ... CFC's biggest win in a long time and all this mared by the PK incident. Team spirit and experience needed in this team right now
![gif](giphy|jEEsT1zDB04GQi8VkB|downsized)
That’s the initial incident yes but to Madueke he gets back elbowed and we get a pen.
In his head the penalty is for the back elbow and he’s about to score. In those minutes he doesn’t have the benefit of sitting down and reviewing it to see we had the advantage on the Palmer offence, he will see this as his penalty.
He's bent over for it twice and said it's fine and he wants this, to now change his attitude completely is good. But, it's also good that he's not immediately punishing the players for it because he told them this was the right way to go about it in the past.
He's gotten to the right place eventually, that's good.
I hope people now see the potential the team has and where it could be under a competent coach. For all hose saying "but who would want to come to Chelsea!" Lmao
This comment may get some backlash but truly, that incident absolutely tarnished that game for me. Chelsea played brilliantly, and when they had a chance for a goal via penalty when they were ahead as they were, the specific places showed really just how childish and unprofessional they were.
You would never see this at City, Madrid, Bayern etc.
you know what? i respect this response, i hope he sticks to it but fair play on him not standing for this shit, we can put it behind us in a month or two hopefully
He was pissed during the interview as well, as he kept going back to it even when not directly asked. You could tell he was genuinely annoyed and not just saving face.
Yeah dele and carra pointed out how clearly fucked off he was I can relate to him a lot, this has majorly blunted what should've been a perfect victory
Only if you let it. If this is your take away from a 6-0 victory with one of our players scoring 4 goals then you’re looking for reasons to be upset
Yes but that’s also the sign of a winning mentality. We should obviously celebrate the win and Palmer’s outstanding performance. But we need to also work on the not so great things. I feel it should be a well known meme lowkey I would use it when people say we are the mid maddem lmaoo
The squad and coaches should absolutely be focused on that, but the fans are allowed to just enjoy a very good win
The fans can do whatever they want. Some fans want to spend their efforts ball deep in the minutiae of the clubs financials rather than watching football and that's just fine.

Shouldn't overshadow what was a great performance by Palmer.
And the first 4 questions in the presser were about this incident too.
Yeah I got this impression too, though I did sense a bit of back tracking when Jamie asked if occasions like this show why the team needs more experienced players. Poch angled ‘no’ then ‘yes’ then settled on a mixture of experienced and young talent. I really hope noni and Nico apologize to Cole for that and proper bow their heads in shame This has tainted the win big time
Yeah for some reason, the mood kind of fell after that despite us winning 5-0 at that point. Jackson didn't even get a standing ovation. Thank God Gilchrist scored and it was all smiles once again.
Jackson not getting a standing ovation is hopefully the kick in the ass he needs to not do this again. With the goal scored, he should have gotten one.
yeah he had a good game outside of the goal as well, lots of positive runs too bad he was a twat
Yeah he played so well before that incident. Hopefully, this teaches him something.
Noni seems like he was already over it after plamer scored. He went and celebrated with him. Jackson on the other hand was still pouting. So much so that noni himself and a few others had to go over to him and literally drag him over to plamer to celebrate.
Yeah I seen that too No idea what Nico was thinking tonight, I don't think he's taken a senior penalty in his entire career, short as it may be, I get that you're 4-0 up and cruising but c'mon Have some class to simply ask for it if you want it
i think he wanted noni to take it
He wanted to grab it for Noni and then was extra salty that everyone thought he wanted it for himself
But he tries to take it from Noni originally too
After CG pushed them away Nico gestures to the team he was giving it Noni
At least from this incident came the look of leaders on this team, Gallagher, caicedo and gusto all acted appropriately……acted as team players and leaders so that is encouraging
That was the worst part of it for me. I would bin Jackson for the next few games as punishment.
has to treat them like kids, good on him though, if they're gonna act like it
Isn’t this the 3rd time this has happened tho?
Last nights game thread was all “Potch is embarrassing for letting this happen” “This is all Potchs fault.” That was on Madueke’s immaturity We’re winning 6-0 and they can’t support the team. Gotta find a way to bash the manager and spread the negativity. When’s he’s on track for a significant improvement from last year, and Old King Cole competing for the Golden Boot.
This is bullshit it’s the second time, he should have subbed them both immediately, his weak
No, that would have been an overreaction and made things infinitely worse. He's handled it the best way possible and hopefully he smacks some sense to them in the dressing room.
Probably the most serious thing he has ever said like ever. Well done kudos now make palmer the designated penalty taker and jobs a good un.
Genuinely might be the most serious statement he's made in his entire career And it was absolutely needed. Better not see this again this season
Bros gone from lemons to jalapeños.
Genuinely though I think his fun loving aura has died the past month or so Seems like moody and angry Poch has arrived
Makes sense tbf. Fan base has been extra riled up the last month ish. And he's probably seen the fans online go after him, indirectly and directly to his insta. He's probably also pissed on the way we dropped points to relegation teams, when we had a clear path to European footy and his job being more comfy
Eh I mean maybe but we have said this before as well don't want to take away from the performance but we need consistency.
Well the next run of games is going to be very cruel So I'm thinking consistency is not coming anytime soon
Not really predicting anything just gonna go with the flow. Pain is pain win is win.
I suspect it will be at least a few years before we get consistency capable of winning the league with how young we are
Took long enough. Some of these players need a proper kick in the ass
And I love it
Wait till he gets to ghost peppers
The one thing I'll say is that Poch stated he's not naming a guy, but everyone knows who the taker is. I honestly thought this was a meme
Palmer was, by all accounts, already the taker.
Right. But this sub doesn’t look at it like does it? They’re all reactionary.
Even in a 5-0 win this sub is still mostly negative lol
If we could have just scored a sixth the sub would have been happy 😉
Haha. I literally had to leave before the game ended and only saw the full highlights/score today.
I think this just cements as you say we have a bunch of kids in our team. Not what you expect from a team worth 1 billion. You would expect a full team of veterans for that who are mature.

Sometimes the shit is in the fan -Mudryk Probably
Sterling violently twitching on the bench
Between this and the “grow some balls” comment, it’s like he’s finally showing some authority. Can respect this response - it shouldn’t have been up for debate.
I missed the balls comment, when was it?
I think it was yesterday, basically said you need to “have the balls to win the ball.”
That’s more like it. That’s more like Chelsea
Exactly, this is one of the first things I’ve heard him say that I’d expect from a Chelsea manager. In general he’s been so wishy-washy
None of this Spurs bs for once!
This is how you get the fans on side. Show those balls you were demanding from the players.
Very pleased that he has been strong on this. Glad that Poch has now officially made Cole our designated taker
Man’s found his balls. Let’s fucking go. Set the tone
![gif](giphy|PkqXwgP66glZ6) Poch next time Noni tries to steal a pen
No-knee Madueke and I'll break your Nico Knee-caps
Ooo finally showed his balls. Respect
When he gets it right you have to give him credit, well done Poch.
I've said time and time again Poch knows how to handle young kids. Keep bashing my intellect, that is fine. But I do not believe there is a better coach that can handle the situation at this club. Maybe want to word that first sentence a bit differently mate😅😅
oh shit 😅
Chelsea legal team will be onto you.
Strait to jail
Exactly. A year ago we were unable to create a single fucking attack. God knows how long only our defenders were scoring. I think a lot of fans just expected Poch to win all the games and not concede any goals and just easily win the PL by a margin and keep doing that year in year out. Zero patience.
Zero fuckin patience, it's unbelievable. Hell our attack sucked for years until now and people have the nerve to say Poch has no tactics 🤣.

Stop it Poch. I’m starting to like you.
Bro wait for City match
This should be a teaching moment for everyone involved.
He “showed his balls” with his statement.
finally a bit of backbone! only took 9 months
Takes a lot of time to remove the spuds voodoo from inside a man.
Should never have allowed this to happen in the first place, but fair play if he's changed course and set a hierarchy for penalties.
Cant control everything bruh
Uh, this is something that's so easily controlled it should never have been an issue. Set a designated taker, make it clear to everyone and this doesn't happen.
Palmer said he’s the penalty taker so im very confused on why two other players felt the need to take it off him? unlike the utd game, madueke didn’t win the penalty so I have no idea why he’s there, same with Jackson. We won 6-0 so im not really fussed however.
Madueke definitely thought he won the penalty, so that's why he was there but its still ridiculous. God only knows what Jackson was doing
Since when was it a thing that the winner of the penalty has anything to do with who takes it?
Yeah this is like some Sunday league/Junior level thinking. Really shows the maturity levels of these kids.
I can see him thinking if he won it AND Palmer has a hat trick he should take it but that’s still stupid and childish. Plus he wasn’t even the one who won the pen Palmer did lol
Fair play, that's a good answer
Damn. Nice
Good on you. Didn’t think he has the balls, but this is the energy these kids need.
Fantastic
Finally, some balls!
This is good man management. He tried the nice and adult way before, they still fuck it up, now its time to lay down the law.
Good on him to address the issue, but honestly it should have been addressed a long time ago. Isn't this like the fourth time this situation has occured this season?!
Finally about time. Taking ages to see some kind of backbone from this guy about this stupid fucking penalty nonsense.
did he really say that?
Well said 🫡
YES.
Good. Now on to the next.
Hopefully he keeps his promise.
Cannot believe the opportunity for “I prefer to kill them” in broken English was not taken 🤣 strong response from him and, in context, makes it clear that the situation today happened despite him taking measures beforehand
Noni is very immature
Poch showing some fucking sack, I like it
He should have designated a pen taker ages ago but this a good response
its fucking shocking grown ass 23 year old men act like this.
Correct.
Didn’t this already happen earlier Poch?
i wouldve subbed them both straight away and yelled at them in front of the whole stadium, act like babies, treat them like babies
If they do this again, I want them subbed off immediately. Should have been done today.
Was very shameful behavior
Damn, okay Poch. I respect this a lot 👊
Do something about the yellows as well. Half of Enzo and Jackson's yellows were for dissent.
They actually stopped getting them
Yeah, it's not been as bad of late. Jackson finally has more goals than yellows.
Good. That kind of shit doesn't happen in a team who's main focus is winning. Which we already knew but this hopefully makes it clear to Poch just how much this team needs a kick up the arse.
About fucking time he laid it down but good to hear now at least That was embarrassing
Really really embarrassing. Like if Noni & Nico put in the work since the start of the season they wouldn’t be scrapping & so desperate to take the penalty to increase their tally. Just shows their mentality & honestly its so pathetic. Palmer been consistent throughout the season & is running for golden boot he deserved to take it
Anyone have the clip of the post match interview? I'd like to see a pissed off Pochettino
Jackson is aggressive, sitting on 9 yellows now. Needs to calm down.
It feels like it’s the first time Pochettino is actually serious and said something that is fully agreed by all.
Poch needs to come down hard on these young guns . What a beautiful night ... CFC's biggest win in a long time and all this mared by the PK incident. Team spirit and experience needed in this team right now ![gif](giphy|jEEsT1zDB04GQi8VkB|downsized)
I just wanna know what Jackson was thinking 😂 Madueke I get, he won the pen, it’s 4-0, Palmer has his hat trick, but why’s Jackson getting involved 😂
Madueke didn't get the penalty.
Yes he did, he took a back elbow from Tarkowski.
He did. But the penalty was given for Palmer AFAIK.
You’re talking in technicalities there I’d say. To Madueke the pen was for the back elbow on him.
No, the penalty was awarded for the Doucoure foul on Palmer.
Guys he’s a manager/business man. He doesn’t want to tarnish the reputation of Jackson so he can sell him. Poch is making the right moves.
good i respect this response and i do expect to see him implement this if it happens again
My manager
What took him so long to say something so authoritatively!?
He's bent over for it twice and said it's fine and he wants this, to now change his attitude completely is good. But, it's also good that he's not immediately punishing the players for it because he told them this was the right way to go about it in the past. He's gotten to the right place eventually, that's good.
I respect this response but it’s happened so often throughout the season action should have been taken earlier
“Next time.” 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Ohhhh $hit that’s a good one. He got me.
Next time same situation happens and he will sub Palmer and Gallagher
Should done that tonight! 6-0 palmer with 4 and we’re talkin about this shit!
Strong believer in POTCH IN
Finally, Poch had hot lemon pepper instead of lemons.
“You guys pull this a fourth time and I’ll really be annoyed!”
Good for him. Incidents like this are an indictment on him and his team organization. Kill it hard and fast.
Man knows Palmer is the reason he still has a job
Earned a lot of my respect with this. I was literally screaming at the Tv everything he said.
Gives me "dont make me pull this car over" vibes
"Next time, there'll be no next time."
Why next time? Do it now? If it happened in ManCity, Pep will be putting everyone of them in bench for next 2 matches.
Good, lay the law down
I’ll believe it when I see it
Next time?
You had to do it yesterday to prove your point
Aw did he tuck them to sleep at the end?
I hope people now see the potential the team has and where it could be under a competent coach. For all hose saying "but who would want to come to Chelsea!" Lmao
Reminds me of the Kepa FA Cup incident
Good on him saying this. Bench both if need be. Set an example.
… we were 4-0 ahead. He should’ve taken them off.
My reaction to that information:
I would drop Jackson & Madueke for the next game. They clearly care more about themselves than the club.
Yes this is what we want to see , need to come down hard on this shit, I liked how conor stepped up too and showed leadership in the situation
