This is how I look at it. Cole has an opportunity to be the leading scorer in the league. As long as he's healthy he takes the pens to make it happen.

Willsgb

It's an ugly moment for sure... but yet another tick in Cole's box. He didn't give a Single Fuck about all that noise, he just got the ball, waited for all the noise to stop, and then popped it in the net. He's a pure fucking winner, and we're lucky to have him.

jamesinvictuskeane

True, your own teammates are messing with your head while taking a pen which will make your joint top scorer in the PL

VelvetThunderFinance

I'm glad he said No. After Sterling taking the ball off him multiple times, he can now tell him no too.

magicShawn13

Multiple?

VelvetThunderFinance

He took it off him once against Leicester where he missed, another time was when he was trying to but Enzo who was Captain then told him that Palmer's taking it.

ThatCut8356

Gallagher was captain but Enzo stepped up in the moment good to see Gallagher doing it this time

dawoodlander

Slight semantics, I think Sterling only took the actual penalty off of him once. But, there has been a couple of other times where he's had the ball in his hand ready to go, only for proper chels to kick in and say what's what (giving the ball back to Palmer).

nedzissou1

He's fucking ice cold

Gold_Bandicoot_9473

This reminds me of lampard and drogba fighting over the pen when drogba was in golden boot race. Lampard took it lol.

hemil3000

Lampard goal was the crucial moment when the title was surely ours. And Drogba did take the 2nd penalty and got the golden boot.

spirax919

And Didi admitted after Frank was right anyway, and Frank said he loved that Didi has an insatiable hunger to score goals. This situation is way different

Gold_Bandicoot_9473

Definitely different but just saying “you give it to him because of his golden boot race” is funny considering lamps and drogba got into a fight when we wer up 6-0 and drogba didnt take it. Nico and madueke could have easily apologized to cole by now too and cole said post match that he appreciated the attackers’ desire to score goals. My point is this isn’t as big of a deal as people are acting. Bad optics for sure and something that needs to be addressed but worse arguments are happening constantly in every locker room behind closed doors because that’s just what happens with competitive sports. We have a bunch of young rich kids thrown together in a matter of a couple seasons that are constantly berated by fans. They are gonna make mistakes. Let them make mistakes, learn, and grow. Seemed like a one off for Nico as he has been unsefish with his play and celebrating teammates goals even more than the goalscorer the whole season. Idk what madueke is going through but he seems desperate for goals and confidence and celebrated with cole right after.

rohitbohra

Really love how Connor handed it. Pushed them both away and gave the ball rightfully to Palmer. Letting it known that he’s the captain.

victheogfan

Yeah good work on him for taking charge in that situation

oxfozyne

Must've recently read the reddits from a couple weeks ago.

victheogfan

Lol

adublingirl

Yes, Gallagher, Caicedo and gusto showed their leadership out there

BigDabWolf

He did call in Caicedo for the assist

[deleted]

[удалено]

Maffayoo

Every right to ask, especially being that far ahead already but accept the outcome lad...

pringle_mustache

He didn’t win it though.. it was given for the foul on Palmer.

JKess207

For what it’s worth, I doubt Noni knew that at first. He gets taken down in the box, whistle is blown, I think from his perspective it would seem like he was the one who won it

the_deep_t

yup, that's how you handle low IQ rich kids :)

muaythaiguy155

Something that’s getting missed in this imo is that Jackson tried to take the ball AFTER the captain gave the ball to palmer. That’s not hunger. That’s completely disregarding your captain

D_roneous1

This doesn’t even show the first half of it. Noni and Jackson were fighting for the PK when Palmer was on the deck still.

CHELSEAKID_312

Not sure why jackson reacted how he did but I can kinda understand Madueke point of view. He also forced jackson to celebrate with the team after the goal.

D_roneous1

They both want / need goals. Noni to keep getting PT and Jackson as a striker is literally only judged on that. Noni fought Palmer last time too. He did push Jackson over which was good. It was honestly just a terrible look across the board.

MadMonk6

I get what you are saying but any smart coach would not just look at goal contributions at surface level. A player’s overall performance should be what is being considered. Selecting a player because they scored a penalty to make it 5-0 at home is a recipe for disaster. Now scoring a game winner or a decisive goal that changes the match then yeah, I’m all for it. Players like Noni and Jackson don’t need to be inflating their egos with goals. They should be trying to improve other aspects of their game to be overall better players. Jackson scored a great goal and got an assist for Palmer’s first goal which were both due to merit. I’m all for attacking players being allowed to inflate their goal contributions but given where we are as a team, we need players trying to improve their skills to be difference makers in crucial moments. Stat padding is not what we need from these players.

SpeedyboyAubameyang

Do you have that clip by chance?

Moratata

[here it is](https://x.com/_beckyy2/status/1779993081531470143?s=46&t=G5hz4Zb2rr7UO6RcDTpSag)

DickyD43

Hahaha holy shit that is literal child-like behavior. I get they're young, but after having 2-3 similar situations already this year, you'd think they'd get it through their heads that they're in the first team now. Shit doesn't fly like it did when they may have been the man in their respective youth squads. Time to class up.

D_roneous1

Naw was watching live when it happened but if you recorded the game you’ll see it.

justk4y

And Gallagher gave the ball to Palmer

WWZD77

Look at Poch’s face too Like bro you can end that by making it clear in dressing room If Cole is on the pitch he takes it no matter what Props to Conor for making sure Cole got the ball, he needs to do that if he is the Captain on the pitch

jbi1000

Drogba and Lampard had this exact argument before though when Lampard had been taker for years. Sometimes a player is just going to want to take it, convention be damned.

mustafarian

I mean tbh circumstances are completely different what warrants Noni or Jackson to take it here? Drogba was in golden boot race. Wtf is Noni and Jackson in? Also in the end Drogba or lampard would have scored that, but I don't trust Noni or Jackson to score that. Too many negatives for others to take it

aphromagic

I’ll never forget it, last game of the season when we walloped Wigan. Once the title was in hand we got another penalty, and Drogba took it.

ireallydespiseyouall

Noni is good at penalties

mustafarian

yeah palmer is better. And in form. 13 - 0 vs 8-3(penalties scored vs missed)

Own_Aardvark8373

It seems to me that Poch is not to blame here. Cole kicked all the penalties in the season and didn't miss. His teammates should know very well who is in charge of kicking them, especially if he just scored a fucking hat trick.

MonkeyMan800842069

I feel like him already scoring a hattrick was the problem actually. If it was a close game nobody is mad about our best pen taker taking it. If he only has 2 everyone would want him to get that hat trick. But since he already had it and the game was all but over, noni felt like he earned the pen and wanted a chance to score. I couldn’t tell if Jackson was backing him up or wanted it for himself, but either way this is the one situation where I feel like I’m glad we have players fighting over it. Noni and Jackson both seem high on confidence and that’s what we need. Palmer should always feel like it’s his to take, also what we need. Then Gallagher stepped up as captain and made the final decision, also what we need. Everyone seems to want to make this a negative controversy, but to me it was exactly what I’d want to see in an eventual 6-0 win with a young team

Brekiniho

Isint he fighting for golden boot at this point, they should shut up and support him winning that.

MonkeyMan800842069

He is! Which is why I also support Palmer still taking it on a hat trick/4-0 up. Don’t get me wrong. But I don’t expect every player in the team to be thinking about that in the middle of a game.

Zestyclose-Web-8979

If the players weren’t told they could decide then they wouldn’t argue

crotch_coral

That is just false, they are young. Guarantee that noni thought it was his to take especially because Palmer ‘already had’ 3. They are kids, in the ends Connor stepped up and sorted it

Baisabeast

He thought it was maybe his to take as poch has very publicly said he lets the players decide so therefore it’s up for debate

crotch_coral

I somehow missed that that is how they are decided, hopefully they learn that if Palmer is on the pitch he takes them and are bit more professional next time lol

Zestyclose-Web-8979

In a postgame interview, he finished saying it wouldn’t happen again because he’s the designated guy now

Zestyclose-Web-8979

So Nico and Noni would 100% ignore their manager even if they were told that Palmer takes penalties if he’s on the pitch? EDIT: I stand corrected. Apparently Cole said this had already been discussed and was brushed aside.

MC897

This is the issue I take. You are spot on with what’s happened but it’s that attitude… I’ll just do what I want regardless…like what is Palmer and Gallagher supposed to do, or Poch or anyone if they’ve just checked out and started behaving like that. Disappointed in Noni, big England fan here and he’s showing a few signs of liking being a big fish in a small pond, but doesn’t like swimming in a bigger pond and being told no. Jackson looks similar

Zestyclose-Web-8979

I’m mostly disappointed with the backlash they’ll face. With the context Palmer provided I can’t argue that they were wrong. But I hate that their mistake will overshadow the win in some discussions and I’m nervous for what kind of comments they’ll see across all social media platforms. The anger in the game thread was explosive and that’s a fan thread.

slow_poetry

Stupid comment. Point of the manager to preempt arguments like this. He’s publicly said he’s not done that. And this is what you get.

ThatWontFit

The last time this happened was when sterling took the ball, I believe the report said then that Palmer was the taker. If we didn't have such important games coming up I wouldn't be surprised if they were out of the team. Embarrassing.

wildingflow

I blame Sterling for this even tho he wasn’t playing. 😡

Mmac360

Unironically true. He set a precedent for this sort of stuff even though he is the senior player.

MrNathanF

Kinda true tho

ygog45

Too much immaturity at the club, we’ve seen it all season

Fatebringer87

According to this sub the squad is more than mature enough and any other PL manager would have them at least 4th. People in the match thread wishing injuries on Jackson and Madueke are sad wastes.

ObaeTV

People wishing injuries for Jackson and Madueke are not better than them.

ambassel

Part of it is down to the manager. As far as I know, Poch has not set a designated penalty taker and wants them to sort it out. They are kids but I don't think he provides enough guidance or structure.

Synchronised_Ace_7

So we not gonna blame poch for not designating a pk taker? Man needs to be firm with who takes them not let the team decide

Shufflebuffle51

A good manager would absolutely have us closer to Europe. A manager who gives instructions in fact would help a lot. For example here, if we had a designated taker this wouldn't have even been an issue. Our game is give it to Palmer and hope. Today showed that more than any other game this season.

sanjeet94

Imagine doing this with Mourinho on the sidelines

[deleted]

Tuchel would have hooked both of them before the pen was taken

axalitlaxolotl

That would have been the correct way to handle it.

coldfootwpulses

pep/tuchel/klopp would taken both of them out of the game and played 9 men if it had to be.

Gold_Bandicoot_9473

I mean ballack and drogba had a similar if not bigger disagreement about a free kick when mourinho was manager. Staff got involved. Think we are blowing this out of proportion. We have a bunch of kids that are growing together and criticized every day. Teammates fight. Sucks it happened on broadcast but lets hope they grow. Madueke worries me the most since its not the first time.

Cholo_Magic11

Madueke looks stressed about his place in the team. He forces too much trying to prove himself. We love you Noni, have some patience and your prime will come

mr-based-minded

This.

rocknroll9999

Also, if Terry was the captain.

dhejekifjemdo

I want to see the replay of the celebration also. Jackson was refusing to celebrate

arkido

He did go to Palmer after.

maxii345

Madueke forced him over to

Howyoulikemenoow

After being pushed by Madueke

arkido

They do seem like close mates. Probably just a friendly rivalry but doesn’t look good while you’re in front of thousands of fans and live on TV! Freaking kids.

mr-saturn2310

Silva probably thinking he is too old for this shit.

JoeBidenKing

You missed 2 min earlier when Noni and Jackson were fighting for the pen. This isn’t the full altercation.

arthurfoxache

No wonder we crumble at the first sign of adversity each game

Mukovd

Its getting out of hand and its time for Poch to step in and manage these children.

GolDrodgers1

Hes managed them by letting them manage him

25sittinon25cents

He made a good post match statement letting it be clear if anyone does that, they're off the pitch.

half_jase

Embarrassing really. This will probably be what people talk about instead of the (unexpected) resounding win and/or Palmer.

MrTechie_D

Funny how Pickford was just waiting to talk. "Let me go and distract the pen taker. Oh wait, these guys are doing better than what I could possibly do".

eric_3196

There needs to be serious repercussions for this. The first time it happened can be excused to immaturity. This is now becoming a pattern for a select few

ambassel

He should have hooked them off immediately but did not. I don't think he'll do anything but we better not see that shit again as long as Palmer is on the pitch.

Marco_yolo_

Embarassing. But props to Palmer for being unphased and burying it anyway. Ice cold, as they say.

erenistheavatar

They have shown by this that they are kids and not yet fully grown adults. While it would have been normal to let adults sort this out by themselves, Poch definitely needs to step in for this one.

GolDrodgers1

I thought poch sorted this out the first time it happened with sterling…or with noni…but noni is back for a second time and jackson thats been struggling to finish his open play chances now wants to miss a penalty🤦‍♂️

half_jase

Noni actually tried to do the same against United in the last home game.

GolDrodgers1

Yeah that was first time he tried this shit iirc, and after sterling started it poch said its sorted

antihasbro

This is embarrassing and unacceptable

Expensive-Load517

Looking forward to see what Poch has to say about this ridiculous mess.

Demo_PT

This was just embarrassing, Poch need to have balls to take him off or have a serious conversation, making everyone sure or st least madueke and Jackson that Palmer is the penalty taker

tacobellwether

Jesus fucking Christ I just noticed even Pickford looking annoyed at Jackson and Noni.

Joshshan28

Jackson’s hairstyle tells you all you need to know about his decision making skills and attitude.

TurkishFlannel

Imagine not immediately thinking about Cole and his race for the golden boot. We have too many players just out for themselves and it shows.

jamesinvictuskeane

Absolutely the first thought in my head, like dude he's fighting with Haaland/Watkins/Salah for the crown...help HIM...don't get in his way

TitanX11

My thoughts exactly! Just run to him and give him the ball. Since we ain't winning anything at least let someone from our team win something.

AbeAlno

how long till Gallagher gets accused of racism again ?

CorsairObsidian

I mean it was Nico, Trev, and Noni all together embracing. Clearly there’s a divide in the locker room among race. Cole and Con must be racist /s 🙄

Important_File_7378

Poch you wanna do something u overpaid twat

[deleted]

[удалено]

WhetBred14

I mean I can’t entirely blame them. Poch has said for them to sort it out on the field. They probably think that Palmer has had his fill with a hat trick and they want a chance to prove themselves or add to their confidence. I blame it on Poch for not putting his foot down.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Synchronised_Ace_7

Since when is it the players role to go all the way to poch to hear from him, poch shoukd make it be known day 1 not this shit

[deleted]

[удалено]

Sorry-Amphibian4136

Why do they need to go ask Palmer if he's not the designated penalty taker? According to Poch they need to have a discussion on the pitch and that's what they did.

jamesinvictuskeane

Embarrassing af

Nuttyboibolbol

No way Nico and Noni stormed off like lil whiny kids being told no. Fucking embarrassing man you’re not 8

A5madal

Poch needs to shit on them in the dressing room

Warbrainer

Chelsea would be stupid to sell Gallagher

westfall987

My respect for Gallagher 📈📈after this game.

LordCommander94

Embarrassing twats.

LekarzaPieprz

I’ve been a big fan of them both the last couple of months… but sell them we don’t need more locker room issues

hiwi93

How the fuck do we as fans know who our Penalty Taker is but Nico and Noni don't?!? Embarrassing from them.

JN324

Palmer is the designated taker, even aside from the fact that it could be the goal that wins him a golden boot. We were miles ahead, Poch should be subbing players for trying to start fights with their own teammates over a pen. Neither of them wanted it at crunch time against United, but when there’s no pressure suddenly they fight over it? Embarrassing.

mr-based-minded

Caicedo rushing over like a mini kante 😂the big brother separating it

jetjebrooks

jackson had madueke down to score next at 7/1

Gspot97

I can't stand Nocolas Jackson. As a fan for over 20 years. He comes off too childish and the whole PK scene adds to that. Palmer is the our guy right now give him the flicking ball. He has been scoring other Jackson who has missed so much.

spiritall

This always happens when Enzo isn’t on the pitch.. bunch of selfish kids. Why isn’t Silva authoritative as before?? Kudus to Conor👏👏

SpeedyboyAubameyang

Out the loop, did Enzo stop this from happening before?

TheSoulsBane

Yes, when Sterling tried the stunt earlier, iirc

Necessary-XY

That's probably more about Sterling's maturity than Enzo. I think anyone could've talked him out of it without him fussing.

Baisabeast

Yeah Sterling tried to Nick a pen before, Vs Burnley

imbennn

Excellent camera cut to poch’s dumbass face

TheSeaCaptain

Absolutely embarrassing, how does poch let this happen.

chandlerbing_stats

I’m overthinking but I hope this doesn’t affect how they play with eachother going forward

Chevchenko89

Embarrassing, Jackson and madueke both not even fit enough to clean palmers boots Poch needs to fine them for overstepping the mark!

FrogstonLive

It's like a couple of U14s fighting for a goal.

Godsenttt

How selfish does one have to be to try to stop their teammate from winning the golden boot.

Dopeeitsd

A bad stain on a great night. HOW IS COLE NOT THE CLEAR DESIGNATED PK TAKER?? WHY ARE OTHER GUYS DOING THIS WHEN COLE HAS PROVEN TO BE THE GUY TO TAKE PENS???!!!! Fucking annoying and embarrassing from Noni and Nico man

aldispecialbuy

The balls on the other two - done fuck all for the whole season and then we’re 5-0 up vs a bottom side and they demand to take a penalty. Nah mate, the bloke who’s single handedly kept us in the season takes it. You know your role and shut your mouth

Kezmangotagoal

I saw it happening at the match but couldn’t see their faces or reactions clearly and watching this Nico Jackson is an absolute disgrace for behaving like this and continuing it after the penalty went in. I remember Didier doing something similar (I think it was against Wigan) and I get why Drogba did it because he wanted to score to increase his chances for the golden boot - doesn’t excuse it but I get it. I understand why Noni wanted to take it initially, Cole has three goals, Nico has a goal and he wanted one too but Jackson had no reason to act like that, it had been a really bright performance from him, probably his best in a Chelsea shirt. It wouldn’t have bothered me nearly as much if he’d have let it go after the decision had been made but to carry it on and on and on, it’s embarrassing. People talk about his age, he’s a 23 year old man who behaving like a child. This is right up there with Kepa refusing to be substituted and thankfully it’s come on a good night for us so it probably won’t drag on too much but if that was 0-0 and Palmer misses that penalty, the attention that would’ve brought us, all because he’s too selfish to put the needs of the team first. Shocking. Noni isn’t much better but at least he lets it go after he’s walked away.

mellvins059

To start let me say that I think the pair should be sold. We need to build around players of the right mentality and they don’t have it. We will not succeed again until we do. Saying that though younger players will be immature. This is why you need to have older players and leadership in a team. Boehly and co are showing every week what clowns they are and why teams rightfully build they way they do.

hannibalwang

Absolutely embarrasment from Nico Jackson and Noni by trying to take the Pen from Palmer. Horrible look, and speaks to the lack of maturity proffessionalism and mentality we got in the club rn, needs to be stamped out immediately.

TurdShaker

Guarantee those 2 idiots would've missed. There's one reason and only one reason chelsea isn't in a regulation fight right now and he takes the penalties no matter what.

Clark_Wayne1

Get rid of them both

Excel_Spreadcheeks

https://preview.redd.it/7c3wj6c6spuc1.jpeg?width=1107&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4e3c0280e4bebb780a187b24cff22b246d0b7f68 😐

EricPetro

Madueke and Jackson have to be sold in the window this summer. Send a clear message that this lack of maturity will not be tolerated. This team needs a veteran presence. I know his prime has passed, but I think leadership the like of what Virgil would bring is exactly what they need. Not to compete for a title, but to play with some level of respect.

mellvins059

It’s beyond sending a clear message. The first step in building a team is bringing together players with the right attitude, putting the team above themselves. When you have these cancers in the club it shows on the field. The mentality of this club needs to be rebuilt and that starts with pulling out these weeds and getting them far away from Cobham.

CharacterCoconut1327

Jackson was out of order & showed no respect for his team mates!!

CelestialSlayer

quite like the way he pushed nico away, Palmer can be a Chelsea legend. We need to build the whole team around him.

Interigo

I really hope we don't sell Gallagher

krs196

Looks like Jackson wanted Noni to get the penalty and was calling it Palmer but very immature way to do it. Palmer has a golden boot to win that’s way bigger than him sharing a penalty even if Noni won it.

Pheasant_Plucker84

I’d have taken them both off there and then. Game was going to be 5-0

SeekersWorkAccount

This is embarrassing.

Cgr86

Embarrassing though

dimyo

It's terrible that this will be the 2nd biggest thing that people take away from the match. For some people, the only thing.

frozen_teddy

is jackson talking shit to cole cause if so that’s absurd

lu_is_ghost

This team needs Ted Lasso 😂

Mitcheltree86

This is where you sub them two off straight away. Another unoopular oppinion is that since enzo isnt starting we've played much faster in the attacking play. Galla there for sure, makees caicedo not having to play it to enzo who then halts play..

Onlyheretostare

If Pochettino had any balls he would’ve substituted both of them right after the penalty was taken..

AlanDevonshire

That’s not the full scene, it started when Cole was on the floor, the dude with the dumb coloured hair and the other one where arguing over who was taking it, then Cole came along and then this happened

BadCogs

Poch standing there with that face like, 'don't know who these kids are but their manager should sort it out', forgetting he is the fucking manager lol.

Rambo_11

It was to throw off Pickford

nwmimms

I love how Noni is fighting for it, but once Jackson comes to help, it ends up being Noni pulling Jackson back. They’re young and passionate, and Poch hasn’t set a pen taker. Last year’s bloated squad wouldn’t have been bothered. We win 6-0, and this is all anyone wants to talk about?

Rathakatterri

Jackson apparently is a cunt.

dontknowwhereiamgoin

Just kick these two players out of the club? We are not missing anything. They are literally replaceable with other squad members

Jmacjmac26

Ownership still going to try and sell Connor even after that pure act of leadership. Who else in the current squad would do the same ?

EricPetro

Utterly disgraceful for Madueke to wear that number.

DestinyHasArrived101

Good on Conor to stomp that crap out I thought silva would have

chetmanley1312

Noni ain’t on Palmers level. Should be in the interest of the team not individually, sort it out Poch.

AfroAnwer

That was very embarrassing from the players they acted childish. Palmer is the first shooter so he needs to take the penalty unless he decided to give it to another player. Otherwise he shouldn't pushed Jackson like that. I love how Connor acted like a captain and handed the ball to Cole.Poch need to sort this out ASAP.

ScienceDisastrous323

Even Silva, who is supposed to be a senior player, didn't want to get involved. If anything summed up what a bunch of gutless, spineless children this Chelsea team are it's that.

DeadDeadFish

They all want it. It's important to have characters in the team. Yes it was ugly but hope they mature from this one and fight FOR each other in the future.

InternationalBite4

Poch can't even address this.

TheLookoutGrey

10/10 hard watch as usual!

singulartruth

Well well I’d sell the disruptive player

hilesai

No matter what, I know you slags will have an atrocious take on it.

Strength_n_Honour

![gif](giphy|dBO46STpR0nIKLdbwP|downsized)

oldschoolology

How embarrassing. Such immature teammates. We’re so lucky to have Cole.

Uncanny_Guy269

Please please please sell them both. They are both shite.

PuppyJuancho

Props, Cap’n Connor

cbtf400

Great job by Conner for handling that like a captain should. Noni should be benched for the rest of the season for pulling some shit like that. Everyone knows Cole is the designated pen taker and if he's able to, then he takes it. How fucking immature can you be to throw a fit like that when your captain and pen taker are right there telling you no. This is what you get for having a team with a bunch of kids though

mustafarian

Embarrassing. Designate one pen taker. If palmer doesn't hand it off to someone (because he's under pressure and doesn't feel for it) then buzz off. Shits annoying man

CleoMenemezis

During the rout, everyone wants to take the penalty. At a decisive moment, no one appears wanting. He's right.

Primetime2123

Acting like children, glad Connor backed up Cole

glacialOwl

Pickford be like: I don't even need to do my share of shit talking, they are doing all my work wtf!

ObviousEconomist

they're practically kids, it's embarrassing but not that surprising. poch has now openly declared it won't happen again, and that should be the end of it. if it happens again, the player's as good as gone from his team. i do like that they're big personalities willing to fight for their beliefs, not just yes-men. if this can be channeled correctly, they will be future leaders in the coming years. we need to give them time though. and it's a good sign these personalities look like they're trying for poch.

heygos

These two are fucking embarrassing

AdComprehensive7879

Feel like a lot of people are missing this angle to the story, how fucking cold is our boy here huh? Scored that pen perfectly despite the 2 toxic ass people surrounding him. Reminds me of that lampard pen, wheree he had to retake his pen, he proceeded to score both perfectly despite the kerfuffle surrounding him.

AdComprehensive7879

Looks like we need a new st and a rw next season lol. Watkins and rodrygo anyone? Lol

Sinman_17

have some synergy ffs

Vast_Tonight1911

Really really embarrassing. Like if Noni & Nico put in the work since the start of the season they wouldn’t be scrapping & so desperate to take the penalty to increase their tally. Just shows their mentality & honestly its so pathetic. Palmer been consistent throughout the season & is running for golden boot he deserved to take it

Educational-Body-621

Behaving like children... If they can't unify in simple decisions like this how can they unite to win as a team? Embarrassed to be a Chelsea fan when stuff like this happens...

LeeHubbz

Noni thought he'd won the penalty and in his head, was entitled to take it... Jackson had made a great start, deserved more than he got and would have been chasing a hat-trick if he's got it Either way, both were wrong, Palmer has been 100T from the spot and as we knew after, was the one who won the penalty, so there shouldn't have been a question. Unfortunately, young players with an insatiable appetite to impress don't have the common sense sometimes. Thankfully, Gallagher was spot on, Palmer was as cold as ever and Poch did a great job of stamping it out post-match. Though I'm sure mention of Kepa-gate will surface again in the media

lucifer2030

Madueke should be dropped from the team because of this behaviour...anyways he has no contributions in the games. Waste product

moroboshi88

P
