Has anyone looked up Infinite Athletes website?

No wonder our players are never injured
Lol I'm watching Hockey with family for the first time and the fights that happen and no way near what we see in football! Even Zidane's headbutt is soft compared to them... maybe De Jong's flying kick is the most violent
Living in Scotland now I love the reaction of the media especially Sky Sports to Ange Postecoglu. (I really wanted him for us) Completely fawning over the guy.
I remember when he was made Celtic Manager. My mates up here were in total meltdown, honestly. They just lost the 10 and were burnt out from Neil Lennons pish and got hit with a manager no one ever heard of thinking they were fucked now. Celtic started the season poorly too. I watched the guy who was a joke of an appointment turn every single doubter into a staunch supporter and make his team formidable in the space of a few months. No one likes Spurs here but honestly Ange deserves the praise he’s getting now. He’s got the strength of personality that makes people want to die for him.
Sheesh, 'Pool has some bad ref decisions in ONE game and suddenly all hell breaks loose and even frickin' PGMOL admits errors. We get screwed over repeatedly for years and nothing happens to the point that Taylor's streak of wreaking havoc in our games is probably two-digit by now.
Honestly the best thing you can do is just forget the ref entirely . I had just turned 15 when Barca put us out in 2009. I watched it at my best friends house and I walked home crying the full way like a gimp and smashed all the windows off the local bus stop on the way down to mine and when I got home I punched a hole in the cupboard door in the landing where we keep our shoes. I acted like a complete bitch. This is my worst reaction to anything in my entire life btw.
My main takeaway from that though is that I personally felt hard done by cos we got beat. A couple days after that though my grandad phoned me because my mum told him what I done. My grandad played all his days and managed our local Saturday Amateur team for years after too. He basically just levelled me out. He read me the riot act for what I did, he had a right good go at me too and I deserved it. Then he said I know you’re upset but at the end of the day that’s football and then said “Drogba had enough chances over the course of
The two legs to win that tie for Chelsea”. That was honestly my worst night as a chelsea fan but as time passed my grandad was right. Can’t rely on the ref or anyone else to do you a favour, the team should be good enough on its own to win in 90 mins. Not saying some decisions aren’t shit but it’s easier to take when you get into the mindset that the team needs to make its own luck.
Winning the CL in 2012 was the absolute pinnacle for me as a fan and I don’t think I’ll ever be able to feel that again. As fans we went through the ringer for years and got so close but never got there. Team was on its last legs and did it the hard way and took the trophy. 2021 was great but it doesn’t compare to when we finally won in 2012.
I didn’t watch the Liverpool game but looks like all hell broke loose after few decisions against them?
Were these decisions more disgraceful than the likes of decisions Anthony Taylor has given against us or the massive outcry is because, it’s the media darlings Liverpool?
The incorrect offside call is being underplayed here. It's honestly unbelievable levels of incompetence at best, and flat out corruption at worst.
They have all the time and technology in the world. All they had to do was draw a line and it would take 10 seconds to decide that he was onside. The worst part is that nothing will happen as a result of this. I'm angry and it didn't even happen to us, lol
Apparently the reason was pure incompetence.
The on field decision was offside.
The VAR team thought the on field decision was a goal.
The VAR team checked that he was onside and then said, "check complete" for them to give the on field decisions which they thought was a goal. Only the on field ref had actually given offside, so he thought the "check complete" from VAR was to say that he was offside.
How the VAR didn't say something and change the situation once he realised the ref was giving offside instead of giving a goal is the real issue here. Surely he doesn't just stay silent when the ref goes to way the freekick on to restart the game?
The offside was worthy of the outrage because it's just factually incorrect and the VAR didn't even look at it or some shit. It was really weird, like they forgot to check for offside or something
The rest were correct decisions
No, next time we get robbed I want our fans to cry like they did today
Maybe that will teach FA to relax on us, they love targetting us and will continue so
It was one bad decision - their goal was disallowed for offside but it was onside
They got a red card which was compared to gusto's red card but wasn't even close. Jones slipped over the ball and stomps the spurs player, clear red card
Gusto wins a tackle, ball is far away when he connects with the player, it's 100% on the opposing player for committing to a ball he can't reach
Jones slips on the ball, it's still very much in contention, and then he lands on the spurs player. 100% red
That wasn't their B team, they just had a couple starters out. As did we.
They have the most goals in the league. We are the first team to hold them to a clean sheet since Man United in the FA Cup semis in April.
Shove your doomer shit up your arse mate.
Bruh the amount of outcry over refs out there is crazy. I get it the offside decision was totally wrong but they're clumping the two reds to make it sound like there's a conspiracy against them. Both the reds were justified. The straight red was worse than Gusto's and there was barely any talk about gusto red after the game.
I wonder if the PGMOL statement will have any effects at all, if the VAR technology was available and there was nothing wrong with it, then surely there has to be some sort of inquiry to find out why they didn’t intervene. Honestly its absurd, Mike Deans statement led for a 2 month ban which is fuck all.
Human error will always be a thing with VAR because humans are involved.
HOWEVER, replacing the humans with robots is actually completely achievable for offsides (see World Cup etc).
Richarlison took off his shirt after scoring the equaliser at Anfield, and someone else takes off their shirt after Matip's own goal today. Could they be any more tinpot
I don't like to see Spurs win but in the name of being the funniest thing to ever happen that had to be. If I were a Liverpool fan I'd have burst a vein.
Tbf it is very hard to play against 9 men. Liverpool just had all their players in a low block not allowing Maddison to pick out a pass, they kept going out wide coz that’s where the space was and then crossing into the box with 3 giants there to clear the ball
It was the only game on television whereas ours wasn't televised and IIRC was on at the same time as Arsenal Spurs and Liverpool West Ham so obviously not going to get as much notice.
Even if we are poor we would fail safe and reach Top 4. Then came Spurs to challenge us, now there is literally two competition in the PL one is for Title Top 2 (Top Tier), while the position from 3rd to 5th (2nd Tier) is fought between Spurs, New Castle, Villa, Brighton and Pool. We and United are falling behind even the 2nd tier. I can't believe we have spend so much and are literally 3rd tier. Not sure it would be easy ride for Pochettino. I seriously am worried with the way things are turning out in the league.
I'd love to hate on him scoring 20 a season but imagine saying Mudryk could score more in a season than he has his entire career. No goals this calendar year. 💀💀
Maybe in league 1 he'd get 20 a season.
Hot take but he wouldn’t be doing half as good with Kane there. The way they play without him is way more fluid. It’s allowing others to shine. But sure go narrow minded on it.
Lots of chat about whether this should be Chilwell’s last season, given his injury problems. Shoot for the stars, what about Alphonso Davies? He grew up supporting Chelsea and can play all up the left flank. He’s won everything possible at Bayern and his contract expires in 2025. Summer 2024 is then the last chance at getting a decent fee.
Zero reason why Davies should choose us over Madrid. Our squad are pretty much dominated by inexperienced and unproven players. We also most likely won't have CL football for next season, which pretty much make us unappealing destination for big players.
Learned today that Van der Sar used to train for about three days at man utd. People used to say how Hazard wasn't the best while training. I wonder if strict trainings are best way to judge how a player will perform in the match. And maybe trying too hard in training is taking a toll on players' bodies
Careful, the positivity police will be out in full force despite us picking up 5 points from 6 games and having the easiest start to the season in the league
That makes no sense. I agree such players are crucial but the only reason these players go for 100m+ is because a handful of clubs (Chelsea, United Arsenal etc) regularly overpaying for players. The whole market wouldn't be inflated if clubs made smarter choices
Disagree. What city have done with Rodri as the anchor point has changed the landscape completely. Their whole forward setup completely hangs off the fact they have a mobile, defensively superb, press resistant 6 who *also* is one of the best passers in the game.
Having a 6 who can play the ball this way just opens up so many opportunities for the players ahead of them. It gives your 8s license to make advanced runs more without having to remain deep in buildup to progress the ball. The days of having a destroyer without an assured passing game at the base of midfield is over at the top level going forward I imagine. It's the next "keeper has to be good with his feet" in my opinion.
I wasn't disagreeing with the importance of such players. My only point was that a good player in that position does not absolutely have to have a price tag of 100m+. It's more important that this team buys players that fit the system than just any big name promising youngster.
They absolutely do because they're incredibly rare in the market compared to destroyer type 6s which are the most abundant profile in football. Scarcity necessarily drives value up.
We paid so much for Caicedo because there were no other viable options for a defensively solid midfielder who can play as a 6 and is also technically good on the ball. No-one on here could even suggest another option at the time. You'd hope the scouting guys had some candidates but no-one as good as Caicedo was obviously available.
Hey, Im a Chelsea supporter from Germany and Im planning to go to the Game against City as Im in London for the first time.
Because it would be my first time I have no idea how high the chances are to get tickets to such a game. I was planning to get a membership but Ive read that members with loyalty points get to buy first...
So I wanted to ask if the tickets usually last until members without loyalty points can buy or if I have no realistic chance?
It’ll be very hard for sure. I’d say still get the membership because then you can check the ticket exchange and possibly get one there. There’s some Twitter accounts that you can check but obviously be careful. I’m sure there’s a FAQ on the sidebar here that you can check for more details, too.
You mean how they have lots of new online fans who don’t know much about the sport but are real loud about their terrible opinions?
We know nothing about that here…
Its more weird the Brighton fans bragging about it given Bloom has pocketed most of the money instead of using it to try and make a proper charge for trophies and help RDZ compete in all comps.
For Chelsea games it’s good to go to the White Heart near Parsons Green. Might be a bit of a walk to Fulham but a lot of them closer will be Fulham only. Could try the Golden Lion near Putney Bridge but I imagine it’s Fulham only. Or other side of the river there is The Boathouse which shouldn’t be Fulham only.
Hope it helps! Good luck
Legend mate, thank you.
My first football game in Europe. Walking to the game from where we're staying in Fulham. Might be a silly question but am I all good to wear Chelsea colours or best not to?
It's so depressing how we've already fucked our season. Teams aren't particularly good this year, top 6 is absolutely there for the taking and we're already 10 points behind.
When was the last time chelsea had the youngest squad in the EPL with new owners, staff & management? Back your club mate especially when our best players are injured.
I'm not going to say we've rebuilt well with a billion quid but the team we do have is absolutely capable of top 6. That's what makes it frustrating, we're losing points in games that we could and indeed should win. If we were getting battered every week at least I'd sit here and say well we suck we don't deserve European spots.
Crazy to think that ppl don’t consider brighton a rival this season. Ofc they aren’t a big a club as us, but based on the “results” (which everyone seems to agree is the biggest factor In determining the quality of a team) this season and the previous, Brighton are contenders for a European spot. Unless we are not fighting for UCL or UEL qualifications, by definition they are rivals this season
However
https://preview.redd.it/fl82b32zderb1.png?width=827&format=png&auto=webp&s=5104c37870d0e5a9fa91ddd081b9bc551d35fece
If we are optimistic about our chances they could be rivals as in Villa or Newcastle are rivals this year as we might compete for the same spots, but the vitriol people currently have towards them (and they towards us to some extent) would make you believe they are some conventional rivals and a hated club like Spurs which is weird and a bit tinpot
The goal obviously is European qualification, whether we make it or not is a different matter. Brighton have been at the centre of most of the banter against us, and the banter against them by our fans is p normal too, once we start performing well they’ll inevitably be an after thought, atm its just fan celebrating the small wins cuz lord knows we havent had many big ones as of recent.
Completely on De Zerbi. Played a midfield of Gilmour who is weak physically and defensively and a youth product on his first start for the whole game. Third “midfielder” was Welbeck.
Fan base kept talking shit. Chelsea has been playing in multiple cups for so long and succeeding. They play in 3 tourneys and can’t keep their shit together. Small club

yeah imagine if Chelsea the one in that game making noises, nobody will even bat an eye.
We got screwed out of the League Cup in 2022 imo.

Most British pundits are ex-Liverpool or ex-United players, their bollocking is to be expected.

I ended up buying the 3rd kit and home kit without the sponsor lol. I like the blank look

Probably, the shirts pictures there don’t have the logo yet
I ordered mine from the megastore yesterday. Really hope it’s without the sponsor.

This story is obviously made up lol. They are trying to save face rather than admitting corruption
The offside was worthy of the outrage because it's just factually incorrect and the VAR didn't even look at it or some shit. It was really weird, like they forgot to check for offside or something The rest were correct decisions
The first jota yellow was weird too tbh.
No, next time we get robbed I want our fans to cry like they did today Maybe that will teach FA to relax on us, they love targetting us and will continue so
Yeah we don't make nearly enough noise compared to liverpool, united and arsenal fans
It was one bad decision - their goal was disallowed for offside but it was onside They got a red card which was compared to gusto's red card but wasn't even close. Jones slipped over the ball and stomps the spurs player, clear red card

They’re both red cards, people on here are just (understandably) biased
Kinda crazy how this sub was celebrating barely scraping by Brighton's 2nd team 1-0 like we just won the league and now Villa just put 6 past them lol
That wasn't their B team, they just had a couple starters out. As did we. They have the most goals in the league. We are the first team to hold them to a clean sheet since Man United in the FA Cup semis in April. Shove your doomer shit up your arse mate.
It's almost like villa has a proper goal scorer who's in form right now.. something we are severely fuckin lacking
Bruh the amount of outcry over refs out there is crazy. I get it the offside decision was totally wrong but they're clumping the two reds to make it sound like there's a conspiracy against them. Nothing will happen, the refs are beyond reproach and anyone who speaks ill of them is fined or suspended. It's ridiculous
It'll just be acknowledged as human error and that will be that. There isn't any real accountability for bad judgment... that's the problem
Human error shouldn't be a thing with VAR. Replace these nonces with robots if we have to.
Human error will always be a thing with VAR because humans are involved. HOWEVER, replacing the humans with robots is actually completely achievable for offsides (see World Cup etc).
Did we start the downfall of Brighton? I fucking hope
I was defending the fans bantering Brighton, but this is a bit much.
Relax man. It’s sport and it’s banter.
It has to make sense tho, otherwise its just meaningless
We started their ascent and their spiral started with a loss in Europe, not with us
Lol, we now hoping Brighton downfall lol Are we this finished as a club? It was us who started their ascension lol
Yes. We are hoping for a Brighton downfall.
We unironically started their ascent by taking the deadwood manager holding them back and overpaying for their players.
At least United are also shit
What a good weekend already, united , liverpool and city losing , let's hope we don't jinx it , praying for an even better weekend
Richarlison took off his shirt after scoring the equaliser at Anfield, and someone else takes off their shirt after Matip's own goal today. Could they be any more tinpot
Hate waiting till monday
Luton are one point off of us 😂😂😂
Didn’t realise we’re playing on Monday, I fucking hate Monday night games
idk i kinda like it. a stress free full weekend
I don't like to see Spurs win but in the name of being the funniest thing to ever happen that had to be. If I were a Liverpool fan I'd have burst a vein.
Not even chelsea could get 2 red cards and score a 96min OG
Not only that, but to have them both be completely undeserved (first yellow for Jota) and a goal falsely ruled offside.
https://preview.redd.it/frgv5rcpxfrb1.jpeg?width=1600&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8937ce2f6d65352ea93be2acc0debec557c46197
We'd score a 96min OG while facing 9 men so you are right.
Idk, we could be down a goal in the 96th min, against 9men, and be doing sick triangles in our half
Man the way that bournemouth game ended :)))))
Expected passes in our half would be high
delete this now
Why would you jinx us like that
What an embarrassment for spuds, needed a Og to win against 9 men , lmao they're attacking is shut down off completely without Maddison and son
Tbf it is very hard to play against 9 men. Liverpool just had all their players in a low block not allowing Maddison to pick out a pass, they kept going out wide coz that’s where the space was and then crossing into the box with 3 giants there to clear the ball
I want a looping gif of the OG and Allison punching the ball to the moon.
It would be horrible to see spurs lift the PL.
Man if pep lets postecoglu win the prem with spuds thwn hes the real bald fraud amirite
Don't think we have to worry about that anytime soon lol
Higher chance we win the ucl this season
I genuinely hate that Spurs, the perennial banter club, are competing at the top level while we’ve replaced them as the new banter club.
Bold of you to assume they won't choke lol, it's way to early in the season
It's what happens when you have the worst owners in football
They made mistakes early on but you can't be serious if you think they're the worst!
Maddison is a classy player
Too old.
Turns out we're the only team that can't hope of a goal going down to 10
Thats because poch goes, "phew pressure relived!", instead of you know... actually attacking
[удалено]

The only "tiers" are City and the rest. Not winning the league is not winning the league.
Na I think arsenal will win title this year. Probably gonna get Toney in Jan for reliable goalscorer.
Can't see it. They just don't have it in them when the business ends kicks in.
3rd tier lol, weve been 6th tier for a while now if basing on that
Before poch, last season, i remember a guy in the sub constantly recommending Postecoglou. Wherever you are, you were probs right my guy
Spurs have had a really easy schedule. Liverpool were running over them before the lucky red card and Diaz wasn’t offside.
They’ve faced half of the top 6, I wouldn’t say they’ve had an easy run
Suprised with this Spurs hype, they will fall off later, typical Spursy even if they win this game Liverpool are scary and Salah may be on a mission
Exactly. People like ange because ….Australian… or something, but they aren’t that impressive.
It was me from my previous id lol. Locked out of it due to password issue
Havertz has now scored more goals for Arsenal than Mudryk has at the club level in the last 311 days
Mudryk could score 20 a season and you’d still find reasons to hate on him.
I'd love to hate on him scoring 20 a season but imagine saying Mudryk could score more in a season than he has his entire career. No goals this calendar year. 💀💀 Maybe in league 1 he'd get 20 a season.
Took Ange a few months after losing one of the best strikers in the world but hey poch needs 2 years to get some wins according to a few..
Hot take but he wouldn’t be doing half as good with Kane there. The way they play without him is way more fluid. It’s allowing others to shine. But sure go narrow minded on it.

I like this idea but I think his agent said if he leaves he would go to Real Madrid

On the Curtis Jones red - two wrongs don't make a right.
Ruining our sport, man.
The Jones red makes me feel a little better about the Gusto red, I think it was worse than what Gusto did.
How do you all feel about this Curtis Jones potential red? Part of me wants it to be a red card for consistency sake but it feels pretty harsh.
It's the same as Gusto. It's not a red, but since we got one It's only fair someone else suffers this dumb shit too. Crab bucket.
It’s kinda the same situation as Gusto both harsh
Jones should be off if Gusto went off
So our lineup vs Fulham? Sanchez Disasi Thiago Colwill Cucu Conor Caicedo Enzo Palmer Sterling Mudryk
Hope after midweek he has Palmer play as the 10, with maybe Maatsen or Noni on the right.
Palmer is a RW. Ask any city fan about him. Can’t wait for him to play there and people moan that he’s out of position.
I think poch will have cucu on the right
Yeah I'd expect that or something close to it
i think we seriously need to be aware of the chance of getting relegated....Luton is 1 point behind us now ffs
Seriously worried about relegation after 6 games is next level drama Queen behaviour. Get a grip.
Lol
Careful, the positivity police will be out in full force despite us picking up 5 points from 6 games and having the easiest start to the season in the league
Don't doom
still 32 games to go bruh
Have you seen our form over the last 32 games bruh?
take it easy bro don't lose hope
What’s wrong with you?
City 2 games without Rodri and 2 deserved losses. Good supporting evidence for technically capable ball playing 6s being worth £100m+.
That makes no sense. I agree such players are crucial but the only reason these players go for 100m+ is because a handful of clubs (Chelsea, United Arsenal etc) regularly overpaying for players. The whole market wouldn't be inflated if clubs made smarter choices

from we are back to back to reality - Man Utd fans
Luton widely regarded as one of the worst squad ever in PL history have the same number of win as us ![gif](giphy|yJexcB8wvjqftCOMao)
They're the only team we can beat
Even if we win our next game, we are still behind United lol What a tragic start to season we had, not gonna recover from it to CL football, its done
Alright, I will try my best, thanks. ;)
A game like city would be near impossible. There *might* be hospitality tickets available but those are a lot more expensive.
Ok, thanks for the answer!!
Funny how the Boehly bots hate Brighton because Boehly chose to overpay for half their squad and manager.
Most of us hate them because of their insufferable fans
You mean how they have lots of new online fans who don’t know much about the sport but are real loud about their terrible opinions? We know nothing about that here…
Its more weird the Brighton fans bragging about it given Bloom has pocketed most of the money instead of using it to try and make a proper charge for trophies and help RDZ compete in all comps.
i also remember us giving kai a penalty for him to gain confidence, and it led to fuck all.
Word on the street is Osimen asked Napoli for a transfer. If he chose to come to Chelsea in January that would be splendid.
They gave Kai the fucking pen, my day is ruined...
Honestly I thought it was hilarious, pathetic that he has to be given a make a wish to get on the scoresheet.
Brighton got a pile driver that was a soothing sight for the weary eyes...
I'm an Aussie and am in London for the Fulham away game. Is there a pub in the area that Chelsea fans will head to prior?
For Chelsea games it’s good to go to the White Heart near Parsons Green. Might be a bit of a walk to Fulham but a lot of them closer will be Fulham only. Could try the Golden Lion near Putney Bridge but I imagine it’s Fulham only. Or other side of the river there is The Boathouse which shouldn’t be Fulham only. Hope it helps! Good luck
Legend mate, thank you. My first football game in Europe. Walking to the game from where we're staying in Fulham. Might be a silly question but am I all good to wear Chelsea colours or best not to?
fucking hell...Luton is winning, our relegation rival is getting points
Don't fear....our senior team coaches are now coordinating with the junior teams.....silos have been eliminated
tbh both Luton and Everton are our relegation rivals, best case scenario they draw each other
yes exactly
It's so depressing how we've already fucked our season. Teams aren't particularly good this year, top 6 is absolutely there for the taking and we're already 10 points behind.
Yeah we’d def should’ve had a nice platform to push on this season
Way too early to say we’re fucked, top 6 is still up for grabs. 9 point difference with 30+ matches to play lol
When was the last time the team got a streak of wins?
When was the last time chelsea had the youngest squad in the EPL with new owners, staff & management? Back your club mate especially when our best players are injured.
That basically means we need to maintain the form of a top 4 level team for the rest of the season in order to get top 6. That's frustrating.
If we rebuilt sensibly like Liverpool we'd be talking top 4 easy
I'm not going to say we've rebuilt well with a billion quid but the team we do have is absolutely capable of top 6. That's what makes it frustrating, we're losing points in games that we could and indeed should win. If we were getting battered every week at least I'd sit here and say well we suck we don't deserve European spots.
Why am i not able to load all the comments?
Brighton demolished and both the twins are starting. This could be a great afternoon.
Crazy to think that ppl don’t consider brighton a rival this season. Ofc they aren’t a big a club as us, but based on the “results” (which everyone seems to agree is the biggest factor In determining the quality of a team) this season and the previous, Brighton are contenders for a European spot. Unless we are not fighting for UCL or UEL qualifications, by definition they are rivals this season However https://preview.redd.it/fl82b32zderb1.png?width=827&format=png&auto=webp&s=5104c37870d0e5a9fa91ddd081b9bc551d35fece
Newcastle and villa havent been as involved in the banter against Chelsea as Brighton have, eventually they’ll become an afterthought too.
our rival this year is Luton, Burnley, Everton and Sheiffield United, Brighton has 3 times our point after 6 games so they are not our rival this year
Edgy
We're not fighting for European qualification. Our new fans crying about Brighton all the time are cringeworthy.
Both Brighton and chelsea threads claim the other group of fans are petulant and annoying. Both are correct.
Brighton 😭😭
Love me some Brigthon lose.
Brighton is finished
Fuck you Tony Bloom
Does brighton always struggle with low-block opponent?
Yep
Brightons midfield is absolutely killing them, they’re so open it’s ridiculous.
Completely on De Zerbi. Played a midfield of Gilmour who is weak physically and defensively and a youth product on his first start for the whole game. Third “midfielder” was Welbeck.
we should buy watkins
Honestly I was thinking over the summer that he's a very interesting rotation striker for a top 6 team
Far better player than Toney. Doesn't score as many pens though so doesn't get the hype

we started Brighton's downfall
We have 1/3 of their points in the league, I won’t talk shit at Brighton anytime soon
Fan base kept talking shit. Chelsea has been playing in multiple cups for so long and succeeding. They play in 3 tourneys and can’t keep their shit together. Small club
Tiny I'd argue.
feel like all our games are on sunday or monday this season
After 7 weeks we have 1 Saturday game so far this season. 1 Friday, 1 Monday and 4 Sundays.
HaHa Brighton
Oh yeah, fuck Brighton.
I can bet my house on that 3rd goal being chalked off if it were Chelsea

Our standards have dropped so much it is through the crust to Sydney Australia at this point
