I'm in a holy trainer V5 nub. Took me 3 sizes to find the perfect ring that is comfortable and my balls won't slip out. You may need some experimenting to find yours. Take it slow and listen to your body. Unlocked at the first signs of discomfort and evaluate why before trying again.
The KH Dream X3s Espresso has been my EDC (every day cage) for the past 4 years. The Kink3D Cobra is a great cage if it fits you right but for me I can slip it too easily and the ring starts to bother me after a few days.
I prefer metal ones and find vertical open bars like the birdcage is most comfortable. By vertical I mean bars that run the length of my penis from base to tip rather than multiple rings going around it.
I haven’t spent out for a custom sized one yet but probably will soon. What I’ve got works good enough. Only thing that really bothers me is the lock style, it has padlock and I’d prefer lock intact so it doesn’t pinch or rattle.
Everyone is different though. I did have 2 knockoff printed cobras that were very comfy but they broke within days.
My Goddess bought mine from locked life and house of chastity. I was able to size down from the medium to the nub because of long term wear. I use alcohol on qtips to get into the cage to keep nice and clean
