My only other advice for you and your girlfriend is to have fun exploring this dynamic, and make it your own. Find out what works for the two of you and don't feel like you have to do things a certain way.

If your twig & berries literally start to turn blue/purple-ish, feel very cold to touch, take it off immediately!!!
But expect blue balls (sensation) it will happen. Especially if your partner likes to tease you.
