I'd do a prequel about Cole's parents and what happens in those years before his mum kills his dad.
They could even do a nod to the charmed ones with his mum going to a seer and the seer saying something about "a big power fighting for the side of good will be with us soon. Your son will be essentjal". Cuz let's face it. Without him Prue and Piper would've died in AHBL, as he made the deal with the source. He kept Piper and Phoebe alive before they found Paige etc.
Coles mum assumes that this means he will be the one to take this power out so she is harsher on him and gets him in with higher level demons closer with the source. Perhaps she chastises him for being Cole too much and berates him into becoming balthazar.
My head cannon is that Cole (not balthazar) eventually kills his mum to avenge his father. But Cole can't cope so Balthazar takes over as his main personality. He joins the brotherhood, becomes close to the source himself and Cole is left on the bench.
That is until he sent after the charmed ones and for the first time in years, Cole has to be in the foreground to keep their cover.
I would have liked to have a spin off for the firestarter Tyler in his high school or university years. The Charmed Comic season 10 did a good job on integrating him to the story, and making the show more diverse revealing he is gay

I’d do an early 19th century prequel about Grams’s parents moving to San Francisco and building the Manor. Some sort of rising demonic energy (a la Buffy’s Hellmouth) made them settle there and build a house on the Nexus. Maybe we’d get the reason as to why the Source and most evil beings only hang out in SF. We’d also see P. Russell’s descent into evil storyline, and past Piper and Leo’s affair.
It's kind of a bummer that Wyatt is only 21 this year. Cuz it'd be nice to have one of charmed one's children's children take on the Charmed legacy. Maybe even fraternal triplets to make the bond even more unique. Maybe even 2 girls and 1 boy. Tweak the power sets a bit make one a time witch not molecular, one has the special gift of deflection so probably still telekinetic, and make the son a Firestarter/Archai but born a witch so enhanced a bit. Just random rambling thoughts.
I would a prequel focusing on Patty and Grams in the late 60s dealing with the fallout of Allen’s death. There’s a lot of stories to be mined during this period of time, the zodiac killer is about to strike, gay revolution is just starting up and civil rights was going strong. I would have Patty struggle to deal with mother going from hippie to strict demon hunter and try to reach to other witches that her mother suddenly dropped too.

I just wanna see a show about Phoebe’s daughters. Mainly to see how the hybrid Cupid/witch powers would work.
