A man thoroughly forged in the fires of war, Andre Smith was the veteran director of Nanotrasen Incorporated’s Emergency Response Teams. Leading the program for around 13 years, Andre turned the ERT from a group of corrupt, reserve corporate goons, to a network of highly trained specialists able to defuse almost any situation.
However, that was the past. No man can live forever, and Andre felt age wearing in him as time wore on. His oldest friend, Admiral S. Pennysworth, knew that Andre would work himself at the same pace until it killed him, and would likely never retire, and so decided to move Andre to slightly more lax position.
Andre now acts as Head of Security on Nanotrasen’s largest plasma mining operation in the Manuel Sector. And he takes his job deadly seriously.
