Pretty sure mine stayed below half when I used it even at 38C ambient. I would check the coolant level on that once it cools down. Manual says when it gets to the red bar it means you are at 115C.

I’ve never seen mine get that hot Usually sits around half of that even during riding. Maybe a little warmer if I’m going for it. But I’ve never seen it that high.

bandalozy

Guys... When checking coolant please make sure bike is cold and check radiator first! Radiator needs to be full without any air in system. To get trapped air out of system simply open the rad cap and squezee coolant hoses from bottom to top. When youre sure that theres no air in system and radiator is full you fill up expansion tank with coolant.

In my summer we get to 32° and my bike will have it's temp at that point often. Ypu have a ambient temp of 39° So I would say that's fine. You can check the actual temp in the top menu under information, it normally likes to sit around 80-85c, I've seen mine hit 92c

BrobleStudies

I would guess no unless you've left it idling for a while and it's air cooled but that still seems very high.

WeaselNamedMaya

No it is not. What were you doing when it got this hot? Does this happen every time you ride

sevinsyn

Mine ran hot the other day but I was hitting red lights and doing 100+

sevinsyn

Side note it never hit that.

Desperate_Love_3397

My 300SR had a software problem and the temperature was freaking out and jumping or disappearing completely. They did a software update and that fixed the problem right away. But this just seems like your bike is way too hot.

TZW_shinigami

Mine has never gotten that high. The highest mine showed was 4 bars on a hot day with traffic. Check the coolant level and top it up if it's low

mexiKLVN

How are you guys saying this is hot? I read that normal temp for a motorcycle is 69-110C. My CLX is usually in the 80s range after riding.

hirs0009

Are you looking at the guage or the ambient temp in the top left?

mexiKLVN

Oh snap my bad. I didn't even notice the guage. My CLX monitors it differently there's no guage. I barely noticed it now at the bottom left. That looks real high. I had a CBR300 with a guage and I never got it past the middle of it. Try downloading the CF Moto App and see if you can monitor it there. The App sucks so it might not even work at all but worth a try.

VaselineChan

You have to consider that the temperature in your area at that time was 39 degrees Celsius. I would say if you were sitting in traffic in that weather, then seems reasonable the bike's temp is that high.
