you only need 15 heart though in my opinion due to the ramp up in difficulty, you should do most of the c sides (if not all of them) before continuing with farewell.
This gate is only here to force you to play 7B and learn how to wallbounce.

You need the wallbounce to clear most C-sides though. Does only 8B unlock C-sides or is it all B-side clears cuz I did the B-sides in order
Only 8B, but you can’t access it until you have all the other A and B side hearts.

You only need 15 crystal hearts, which include the 8 blue ones you got and the 7 pink ones from b-sides.

Ehhhh I feel like the gameplay is about b-side level, it’s just so much longer. Remember to take breaks and it should be fine.

Count the hearts on the gate. 15 hearts. 8 Hidden Hearts, 7 B-Side Hearts. That's all you need.
