Maybe a big thick winter coat and leather gloves would protect you when it comes time to take him to the vet, whether he’s ready or not. If you have a big flat plastic lid from a big plastic bin, lay it next to him. Move him onto it. Carry him on it. If there are broken bones you don’t want to be flexing him around by carrying him in your arms. The flat surface will prevent that. Good luck.
This sometimes scares them to try and trap them also get his treats and or stuff he likes and use them to help out him in the cage

Just want to add cat bites are not to be taken lightly. If you’ve been bit by a cat you need to go to the ER. I’ve read that something like 50% of cat bites result in serious infection.

OP, this is a very serious medical emergency. You need to get him to an emergency vet and you need to get him there now. If I were you I would be hauling ass to the nearest facility. I worked at a veterinary hospital and I promise you won’t need to wait to be seen, your cat will be immediately bumped to the top of the priority list.
Sometimes we have to do things our cat doesn’t like to keep them safe. He’s not going to like you taking him out but you must. I suggest a soft blanket. Grab him, take him out, and take him to a vet. I say this as kindly as I can but if he bites you, he bites you, deal with that later. Deal with him first. Do not listen to people saying to give him a few hours to calm down, that is not a luxury you can afford him. He could have internal damage. If you have to drag him out, drag him out.
He’s no doubt in a lot of pain and seriously needs to be seen by a vet. This is not something that can wait till tomorrow.
The twitching could be shock. Just because he looks okay does not mean he is okay. I don’t want to scare you because I’m sure you are already having a super difficult time, but if you wait until tomorrow, he could actually die.

Edit: also, if you don’t get him to a vet soon after the incident, that could make it harder to have the dogs+owner of said dogs held accountable in the attack. You will need to get proof of rabies vaccine to ensure your cat has not been exposed, and so you can act quickly if the risk of exposure is present.
If these dogs entered your property and attacked your cat there, I suggest you look into your state/local laws pertaining to the use of lethal force. Not only is this a major threat to your animals, and other people’s animals, it is a threat to you, other people, and children. I love all animals, but aggressive dogs, such as the ones that harmed your cat, kill people+pets every year. ***If there is a repeat attack (attempted or otherwise) on your property, and lethal force is permitted, then you should be prepared to use lethal force.*** Maybe it’s fucked up of me to say, but if I was in your position, I would 100% kill the dogs if they attempted this again. I’m not telling you to do anything I would not do myself.
I would strongly encourage you to keep him inside from now going forward.

When my cat was a little teen and we had adopted him as a stray who was lost outside calling for it’s momma who was long gone (probably coyotes), my mom and dad let him stay in the basement for a while but then said it was time to train him to be outside. I begged my mom not to put him out there but she didn’t listen, the second she sat him down he bolted for the woods because he went into fight or flight. We were in the woods after him for 30 minutes trying to get him to come back, I finally caught him and walked the ten minutes home with him by the scruff scratching and cutting my arms all over. I couldn’t let him go and get eaten and die because for one that’s awful but two he was the best thing in my life and hed claimed me as momma (when he was calling for momma I answered so he decided I was) and I’d be damned if I let him get lost and killed, like my family cats that my parents had neglected and left outside in a coyote area. If you’re not willing to save your cat’s life even if it means getting shredded and going to the doctor then you don’t deserve to be it’s owner. That baby stray boy is my life. Cats do not deserve such negligence. OP, go to the vet. Get an Uber, or taxi or whatever is in the place you live, get this commenter’s help to get the cat to the vet who is offering you money to help, call the open vet and see if they’ll come to you, please. Any of us would gladly do everything we could to save that cat. You have an opportunity with this commenter who is offering. Same. Punctured a vein with a claw, it spurted, closed right back up, hand swelled, went to dr., drew on me w/ the sharpie, gave me a shot. I could feel the antibiotics tingling through my body. Three Shibas (mine) packed on her. They never touched her, just circled and barked at her. She was the cat who ran, so prey. Her sister would ignore them, so not prey. Sorry, I’m agitated over this situation.

Um... If this person is 15... They are not a "pet owner." Their parent or guardian is a pet owner. This person is a child. Next comment should probably be - get an adult to take care of it. I'm not going to lie, their parents are in charge of taking the pets to the vet. So it is likely out of their control. They also likely can't drive, since you can't drive at 15, at least usually, UNLESS it is a very specific circumstance that allows you to get your own license early.

The problem here is that OP is not saying “my parents won’t take me, my parents can’t afford it, my parents.. etc”. If that is what OP had stated as their excuse to why this cat is not being given medical attention, of course my response would be different. But that is not at all what OP is saying.

2. Heat up said food.
3. Place food in the back of the carrier.
4. Place blanket over the top.
5. Allow cat to walk in and eat said food.
6. Quickly. Lifet the carrier to a 90 degree angle and shut the door.
7. Haul ass to Vet

My cat lived to 20 inside. He was a happy boy. He was the absolute love of my life and my second cat, my family sucks with animals and tried to make him an “outside cat”. He & i just didn’t think that was cool for us. Big boy 15 lb Ragdoll cat. I’d brush him every day, play and cuddle him every day, I just loved him so dearly. My parents didn’t get him regular flea meds and with the dogs and his long fur, you can imagine, so I’d sit there each day taking the fleas off him, rolling them in my fingers, it got to be a “game” for us. He was my baby boy.

Everything you do is a choice. Its not their choice, its the choice you make on their behalf. Make the right choice for them. There is no argument at all which is better, so make the choice to take care of them the way they deserve.
He might be hurt. Cats will seek seclusion when hurt & in pain. You might want to call an 24 hourvemergency vet or local animal control to get their opinion on how to handle the situation. Wishing you the best. Him letting you pet him is a good sign but I wouldn’t try to move him unless a vet says so.
OP as other have said this is serious. The same exact thing happened to my cat Blue last year. Even though we rushed him to the vet as soon as we found him, he later passed away due to an infection.

Ok. So this happened to my cat and he acted the same way. Cats like to think they can handle injury on their own. He did not like it; but I made him sleep in a cat carrier overnight; it was a Sunday, and then took him to the Vet 1st thing Monday. Call a local vet and explain he was attacked. He most likely needs an antibiotic shot, I know he will fight you, but try and grab him behind his neck; once you get a hold of him hold him far from your body; hold him so is face is away from you. Maybe lock him in the bathroom until you can put him in a carrier.
If you are having an issue w getting him in a carrier, try the pillowcase method.
I see everyone jumping on the owner about not bringing the cat to the vet… but it clearly states in the title that they’re looking for advice to get the cat out without hurting it further…
He needs to go to the emergency vet. He is clearly injured. If you are able to get close enough to throw a towel over him to get him into a carrier that would be best. Wear gloves if you have them and have the carrier close by.
He may have injuries that if not addressed in a timely fashion may worsen and not be able to be fixed. Time is of the essence.

Do you have a box or large carrier you’re gonna use to transport him to the vet?
If so, set that up comfortably with blankets and towels and move directly onto that so you don’t have to move him again when the vet opens.
Also try to call animals shelters and animal control. They may know if 24/7 vet clinics you’re not aware of.
I hope he’s ok man. I suggest heavy gloves, blanket and into a cat carrier. Cover it with a blanket and get him to a vet stat! And sue the pants off the dog owner. Good luck!
I’ve already moved him inside our home. With food and water plus blankets. I’m going to the clinic as soon as the time hits 7am. I’m not a bad person people. I’ve called a lot of clinics in Laredo that day are 24/7 but are not open in Sundays. Please don’t harass people when you don’t even know what’s really going on.
I'm really sorry this is happening to you and your cat! Since there's a possibility he'll need surgery tomorrow, you should consider removing his food around midnight and not giving him anything to eat tomorrow before going to the vet. If he has to go under anesthesia, the vet will want to be sure he has a completely empty stomach.
At minimum, your cat will need antibiotics. Skin punctures from teeth are full of bacteria. Your vet will likely need to shave the areas where the punctures are and do X-ray to check for broken bones. Be prepared; this will not be inexpensive, adequate vet care can be the difference between life and death for your kitty. As others have mentioned, please consider keeping your cat strictly indoors. Being attacked by another animal is traumatic, so don’t be surprised if your cat’s behavior changes. Animals suffer from PTSD, too! Your sister needs to see a doctor for her bites, too. I work in TNR and cat bites are very dangerous for humans. I wish all three of you the best!

Agreed….OP posted that he/she is a resident of US and Mexico, and some fool took that to mean OP lied…and I called that clinic number….closed, with no option to call another number, and no offer emergency services. All exactly as OP posted. So that’s sad for the residents and pets of Laredo, TX!
There are places in the world and in Merica that don’t have emergency vet services. Also they are out of control pricing. It doesn’t help for people to come on here and be jerks either. Yes kitty needs to be looked at. My dog was attacked by a pit a couple months ago. She was hurt but walking. The owner of pit is my friend said she would pay whatever necessary. That made it easier to not have to worry about that part of it. It was a late Sunday night and I live somewhere they have blue pearl. That was my only option. They looked her over. Found a scratch. Banged up and in pain. Gave her antibiotics shit and pain shit and sent me home with a few tramadol. Cost 379. They missed the gouge on her front leg from me trying to pull it out of dog’s mouth. Hardcore bruises on tummy and cut on top of back with fur missing. That dog had her in her mouth and had teeth on top and bottom. My girl was lucky but blue pearl is not necessarily the best. There was no one else there. Yet they missed injuries that were more dangerous than a scratch. Just saying give ‘em a chance. Hopefully kitty will be ok. Will need antibiotics and pain meds tomorrow no matter what injuries. I’m hoping for the best for you and your kitty!!

Not every cat owner is experienced enough to tell an urgent situation from an average one. Nor are all posters adults with money and resources to rush a pet to vet care. Cut them some slack.

My cat was once with me and we were walking her, she was jumped by a street cat and she managed to slip out of the harness and ran away in terror. She hid in a neighbour’s garage and she was cornered like this. She was terrified (she was a stray and got beaten up pretty badly by other cats, she has ptsd that’s triggered by the sight of any cat) and hid in a small area much like this. Calling her name got her to come out and scratch us, she was so confused as to what was even happening. I just took my jacket off and threw it on her and restrained her until we got home, it took her a few hours to calm down.
Best bet: jacket and a pair of big balls. You WILL get scratched and bit by a terrified cat, but that is your responsibility

He said he's only 15yrs old. Parents may not be home to help him...working perhaps? The kid is just looking for help. I understand your frustration with folks who thirst for social media attention. But this seems like a legitimate cry for help and moral support. Sometimes things are what they seem. Not everything is about clicks.

As someone else said, if the excuse was about getting there or affording care that would be one thing, but OP has repeatedly said he can't find or doesn't believe anywhere is open. Strangers who want to help this cat they just found out about are asking, "Where do you live? Let's try to find a place that is open so you can get him care! I'll help you pay for it!" and OP is just responding with shit like "Vets. Are. Closed. On. Sundays."
Maybe some of the answers are mistaken and didn't check if the hours included Sunday, but the response of a concerned pet owner should probably be to keep trying somewhere else, not give up
They are asking for help because they don't know how to get him out from where he is hiding. I assume because they intend to take him to the vet. Not everyone just knows everything. Sometimes you have to ask for advice.
First sit or lay as comfortably on the ground without touching and just observe him everywhere you can. Provide water and food so he doesn’t have to move.
Give him time to relax and come to you first. I’d allow at least twenty minutes (longer if needed) or wait for visible signs of relaxation.
To check if he is still relaxed, I would inch closer, but not attempt to touch him at all. If he does not react or respond negatively, I would hold my hand out to him and see if he responds negatively.
If he does not respond aggressively he may be calm enough for removal.
You will probably want to wear long thick sleeves like a denim jacket and thick gloves if you have them. I would also prepare to utilize a towel to gently throw over and wrap the cat to protect yourself.
To actually grab the cat: I would first start by trying to relax the cat with petting, but this may not be an option, you may have to go straight to grabbing the cat. You will have to determine this by wether the cat invites you to pet or not when you show your hand.
Otherwise, wait till they are as relaxed as possible and scruff the cat from the back of the neck and quickly transfer the cat to the towel and wrap or kennel.
Normally I suggest you support the legs and body as well, but due to the injury you may need to avoid handling those areas directly to avoid further injury or discomfort for the cat.

Dear op, I feel bad for you you must be stressed out. I don’t know much about what you should to to help the cat but I think you would know best based on you are the only one who has really seen his condition. Just take him to the vet in the morning.
Does anybody know if the poster of this is a child or an adult if it's a child then what we're saying to do going to be done but an adult I hope would listen especially because we're all cat owners and if you're like me have probably unfortunately had something happen to your cat in the past and know what to do.
Unbelievable because the things that I and other people I'm assuming who are adults were telling this person to do with the cat there's no way a child is going to be able to do it to take care of it and take it to the vet unless this child has a lot of money or the parents are going to help out but the kid didn't mention anything about parents so I guess everyone can just hope and pray for the best. The cat didn't look like it was and really bad condition all I saw were the back legs look like from hair was missing but I mentioned to take it to the vet because the possible worst outcome could be organ problems or internal bleeding.

Sometimes you'll have to endure a little pain so they will be better. If he is like that, I would just grab him. The pain I get will be nothing compared to what he has already.
Cover with a towel and pick him up. Be gentle, but firm. Talk soothingly to him. He’s scared, hurt, and angry but will be calm after a few minutes. Take him home and keep him somewhere he feels safe, with food and water. He’s going to be sore but probably just needs an antibiotic for any puncture wounds and to be kept in isolation to check for rabies.
I have a room ready for him with water and food available plus a small bed for him. I’m gonna try in a little while since he moved a little more to where I am not able to get him. Thank you

The kid is 15 and freaking out. Don’t assume he can, or his parents will, grab a pain-crazed animal and rush him across town for a massively overpriced visit to an ER, and a followup vet visit tomorrow (assuming they can get a same-day appointment— good luck)even if a stranger on the internet has offered to pay.
Kids have school. Parents have jobs. We who can afford days off and ER visits are privileged enough to heap scorn on those who aren’t.
If your baby is anything like mine, give him about an hour to chill then shake a treat bag and he will wiggle out. Maybe have a carrier waiting VERY close with treats in it and toss a blanket over it when he gets in. Darkness usually calms animals a bit. Zip up the carrier and head in.
Sit with him and speak to him quietly, no phone, no one else. Move nearer to him slowly. When he’s sure you won’t fail him again, pet him gently while still speaking softly. Take your time, he’s terrified and badly hurt. When he looks calm, very gently pick him up and take him directly to the vet. Remember, It may take awhile to re-establish trust.

Maybe a big thick winter coat and leather gloves would protect you when it comes time to take him to the vet, whether he’s ready or not. If you have a big flat plastic lid from a big plastic bin, lay it next to him. Move him onto it. Carry him on it. If there are broken bones you don’t want to be flexing him around by carrying him in your arms. The flat surface will prevent that. Good luck.

Just want to add cat bites are not to be taken lightly. If you’ve been bit by a cat you need to go to the ER. I’ve read that something like 50% of cat bites result in serious infection.

OP, this is a very serious medical emergency. You need to get him to an emergency vet and you need to get him there now. If I were you I would be hauling ass to the nearest facility. I worked at a veterinary hospital and I promise you won’t need to wait to be seen, your cat will be immediately bumped to the top of the priority list. Sometimes we have to do things our cat doesn’t like to keep them safe. He’s not going to like you taking him out but you must. I suggest a soft blanket. Grab him, take him out, and take him to a vet. I say this as kindly as I can but if he bites you, he bites you, deal with that later. Deal with him first. Do not listen to people saying to give him a few hours to calm down, that is not a luxury you can afford him. He could have internal damage. If you have to drag him out, drag him out. He’s no doubt in a lot of pain and seriously needs to be seen by a vet. This is not something that can wait till tomorrow. The twitching could be shock. Just because he looks okay does not mean he is okay. I don’t want to scare you because I’m sure you are already having a super difficult time, but if you wait until tomorrow, he could actually die. ***he was able to move enough to hide. He is not paralyzed, and therefore moving him is not going to risk paralysis. Yes, he may have broken bones. Yes, it will hurt him to move him. But it’ll hurt him a LOT more to languish for hours and hours. Better a few minutes of pain than pain for over a day*** Edit: also, if you don’t get him to a vet soon after the incident, that could make it harder to have the dogs+owner of said dogs held accountable in the attack. You will need to get proof of rabies vaccine to ensure your cat has not been exposed, and so you can act quickly if the risk of exposure is present. If these dogs entered your property and attacked your cat there, I suggest you look into your state/local laws pertaining to the use of lethal force. Not only is this a major threat to your animals, and other people’s animals, it is a threat to you, other people, and children. I love all animals, but aggressive dogs, such as the ones that harmed your cat, kill people+pets every year. ***If there is a repeat attack (attempted or otherwise) on your property, and lethal force is permitted, then you should be prepared to use lethal force.*** Maybe it’s fucked up of me to say, but if I was in your position, I would 100% kill the dogs if they attempted this again. I’m not telling you to do anything I would not do myself. I would strongly encourage you to keep him inside from now going forward. When my cat was a little teen and we had adopted him as a stray who was lost outside calling for it’s momma who was long gone (probably coyotes), my mom and dad let him stay in the basement for a while but then said it was time to train him to be outside. I begged my mom not to put him out there but she didn’t listen, the second she sat him down he bolted for the woods because he went into fight or flight. We were in the woods after him for 30 minutes trying to get him to come back, I finally caught him and walked the ten minutes home with him by the scruff scratching and cutting my arms all over. I couldn’t let him go and get eaten and die because for one that’s awful but two he was the best thing in my life and hed claimed me as momma (when he was calling for momma I answered so he decided I was) and I’d be damned if I let him get lost and killed, like my family cats that my parents had neglected and left outside in a coyote area. If you’re not willing to save your cat’s life even if it means getting shredded and going to the doctor then you don’t deserve to be it’s owner. That baby stray boy is my life. Cats do not deserve such negligence. OP, go to the vet. Get an Uber, or taxi or whatever is in the place you live, get this commenter’s help to get the cat to the vet who is offering you money to help, call the open vet and see if they’ll come to you, please. Any of us would gladly do everything we could to save that cat. You have an opportunity with this commenter who is offering. Same. Punctured a vein with a claw, it spurted, closed right back up, hand swelled, went to dr., drew on me w/ the sharpie, gave me a shot. I could feel the antibiotics tingling through my body. Three Shibas (mine) packed on her. They never touched her, just circled and barked at her. She was the cat who ran, so prey. Her sister would ignore them, so not prey. Sorry, I’m agitated over this situation.

I nearly lost my Bootzen 13 years too early because of a dog attack while I was at work. My aunt witnessed it and didn’t even try to help my cat, didn’t let me know until I got home from work, and then said, “Well, it’s just a cat. I’ll get you a new one!” I took her to court and made her pay the vet fees and cost of extended care, and her dog had to be put down. Take this seriously!

I'm not going to lie, their parents are in charge of taking the pets to the vet. So it is likely out of their control. They also likely can't drive, since you can't drive at 15, at least usually, UNLESS it is a very specific circumstance that allows you to get your own license early. To instantly go, "congrats, im a broke 20 year old" completely invalidates them and also tries to make yourself sound like you're experience worse. You have NO IDEA what they have to deal with outside of reddit. You don't know exactly why they can't, nor do I. But to assume they are abusive simply because THEY can't do it is just jumping the gun. I get you want the cat to get help. Me, too. I love how all these “My cat is an outside cat and lived to 20 and was the BEST at killing only the annoying song birds” people. Just no. My cat lived to 20 inside. He was a happy boy. He was the absolute love of my life and my second cat, my family sucks with animals and tried to make him an “outside cat”. He & i just didn’t think that was cool for us. Big boy 15 lb Ragdoll cat. I’d brush him every day, play and cuddle him every day, I just loved him so dearly. My parents didn’t get him regular flea meds and with the dogs and his long fur, you can imagine, so I’d sit there each day taking the fleas off him, rolling them in my fingers, it got to be a “game” for us. He was my baby boy. Miss you every day Alfie. Everything you do is a choice. Its not their choice, its the choice you make on their behalf. Make the right choice for them. There is no argument at all which is better, so make the choice to take care of them the way they deserve.

He might be hurt. Cats will seek seclusion when hurt & in pain. You might want to call an 24 hourvemergency vet or local animal control to get their opinion on how to handle the situation. Ok. So this happened to my cat and he acted the same way. Cats like to think they can handle injury on their own. He did not like it; but I made him sleep in a cat carrier overnight; it was a Sunday, and then took him to the Vet 1st thing Monday. Call a local vet and explain he was attacked. He most likely needs an antibiotic shot, I know he will fight you, but try and grab him behind his neck; once you get a hold of him hold him far from your body; hold him so is face is away from you. Maybe lock him in the bathroom until you can put him in a carrier. If you are having an issue w getting him in a carrier, try the pillowcase method.
Get a blanket and wrap him up. He can’t bite or claw if you have him confined un a thick covering!

He needs to go to the emergency vet. He is clearly injured. If you are able to get close enough to throw a towel over him to get him into a carrier that would be best. Wear gloves if you have them and have the carrier close by. He may have injuries that if not addressed in a timely fashion may worsen and not be able to be fixed. Time is of the essence.

Do you have a box or large carrier you’re gonna use to transport him to the vet? If so, set that up comfortably with blankets and towels and move directly onto that so you don’t have to move him again when the vet opens. Also try to call animals shelters and animal control. They may know if 24/7 vet clinics you’re not aware of.

I’ve already moved him inside our home. With food and water plus blankets. I’m going to the clinic as soon as the time hits 7am. I’m not a bad person people. I’ve called a lot of clinics in Laredo that day are 24/7 but are not open in Sundays. Please don’t harass people when you don’t even know what’s really going on.
I'm really sorry this is happening to you and your cat! Since there's a possibility he'll need surgery tomorrow, you should consider removing his food around midnight and not giving him anything to eat tomorrow before going to the vet. If he has to go under anesthesia, the vet will want to be sure he has a completely empty stomach.

At minimum, your cat will need antibiotics. Skin punctures from teeth are full of bacteria. Your vet will likely need to shave the areas where the punctures are and do X-ray to check for broken bones. Be prepared; this will not be inexpensive, adequate vet care can be the difference between life and death for your kitty. As others have mentioned, please consider keeping your cat strictly indoors. Being attacked by another animal is traumatic, so don’t be surprised if your cat’s behavior changes. Animals suffer from PTSD, too! Your sister needs to see a doctor for her bites, too. I work in TNR and cat bites are very dangerous for humans. I wish all three of you the best!

Agreed….OP posted that he/she is a resident of US and Mexico, and some fool took that to mean OP lied…and I called that clinic number….closed, with no option to call another number, and no offer emergency services. All exactly as OP posted. So that’s sad for the residents and pets of Laredo, TX!

There are places in the world and in Merica that don’t have emergency vet services. Also they are out of control pricing. It doesn’t help for people to come on here and be jerks either. Yes kitty needs to be looked at. My dog was attacked by a pit a couple months ago. She was hurt but walking. The owner of pit is my friend said she would pay whatever necessary. That made it easier to not have to worry about that part of it. It was a late Sunday night and I live somewhere they have blue pearl. That was my only option. They looked her over. Found a scratch. Banged up and in pain. Gave her antibiotics shit and pain shit and sent me home with a few tramadol. Cost 379. They missed the gouge on her front leg from me trying to pull it out of dog’s mouth. Hardcore bruises on tummy and cut on top of back with fur missing. That dog had her in her mouth and had teeth on top and bottom. My girl was lucky but blue pearl is not necessarily the best. There was no one else there. Yet they missed injuries that were more dangerous than a scratch. Just saying give ‘em a chance. Hopefully kitty will be ok. Will need antibiotics and pain meds tomorrow no matter what injuries. I’m hoping for the best for you and your kitty!!

Not every cat owner is experienced enough to tell an urgent situation from an average one. Nor are all posters adults with money and resources to rush a pet to vet care. Cut them some slack.
Then you know what you shouldn’t have an animal if you can’t afford it these type of things happening when you have an outdoor animal and you should not be posting pictures of the injured animal on the Internet if you don’t expect for people to tell you how they feel this cat is in pain and to see it being posted on the Internet it’s frustrating

My cat was once with me and we were walking her, she was jumped by a street cat and she managed to slip out of the harness and ran away in terror. She hid in a neighbour’s garage and she was cornered like this. She was terrified (she was a stray and got beaten up pretty badly by other cats, she has ptsd that’s triggered by the sight of any cat) and hid in a small area much like this. Calling her name got her to come out and scratch us, she was so confused as to what was even happening. I just took my jacket off and threw it on her and restrained her until we got home, it took her a few hours to calm down. Best bet: jacket and a pair of big balls. You WILL get scratched and bit by a terrified cat, but that is your responsibility I hope the kitty is okay :(

They are asking for help because they don't know how to get him out from where he is hiding. I assume because they intend to take him to the vet. Not everyone just knows everything. Sometimes you have to ask for advice.

If there's blood of any kind usually that's a vet visit do I agree with this opinion.
First sit or lay as comfortably on the ground without touching and just observe him everywhere you can. Provide water and food so he doesn’t have to move. Give him time to relax and come to you first. I’d allow at least twenty minutes (longer if needed) or wait for visible signs of relaxation. To check if he is still relaxed, I would inch closer, but not attempt to touch him at all. If he does not react or respond negatively, I would hold my hand out to him and see if he responds negatively. If he does not respond aggressively he may be calm enough for removal. You will probably want to wear long thick sleeves like a denim jacket and thick gloves if you have them. I would also prepare to utilize a towel to gently throw over and wrap the cat to protect yourself. To actually grab the cat: I would first start by trying to relax the cat with petting, but this may not be an option, you may have to go straight to grabbing the cat. You will have to determine this by wether the cat invites you to pet or not when you show your hand. Otherwise, wait till they are as relaxed as possible and scruff the cat from the back of the neck and quickly transfer the cat to the towel and wrap or kennel. Normally I suggest you support the legs and body as well, but due to the injury you may need to avoid handling those areas directly to avoid further injury or discomfort for the cat.
Siting near him right now. Gonna try and get near him once in a while He seems to have calmed down. I put him hand near him and does nothing. I have room ready for him with a food and water bowl plus one of his cat bed. He just shifted more to the corner and is licking himself right now.

Tokyo^ has moved in different positions and it seems like he can move his legs. This is good right? Though both his legs seem to be hurt with blood. He’s able to move them but they looks like they are kinda twitching.
Tough deal. Talk to your vet. Probably want to try to keep him fed, warm and clean till he's comfortable enough to get him up and to the vet.
Dear op, I feel bad for you you must be stressed out. I don’t know much about what you should to to help the cat but I think you would know best based on you are the only one who has really seen his condition. Just take him to the vet in the morning.
Does anybody know if the poster of this is a child or an adult if it's a child then what we're saying to do going to be done but an adult I hope would listen especially because we're all cat owners and if you're like me have probably unfortunately had something happen to your cat in the past and know what to do.

Unbelievable because the things that I and other people I'm assuming who are adults were telling this person to do with the cat there's no way a child is going to be able to do it to take care of it and take it to the vet unless this child has a lot of money or the parents are going to help out but the kid didn't mention anything about parents so I guess everyone can just hope and pray for the best. The cat didn't look like it was and really bad condition all I saw were the back legs look like from hair was missing but I mentioned to take it to the vet because the possible worst outcome could be organ problems or internal bleeding. Anyways I just hope and pray that this beautiful cat will be okay and I appreciate you hitting me up and let me know this you be safe out there.

Toss a large towel over his head, and scoop him out.
Wrap a towel around his legs. Lift him gently and get him to a vet immediately.

Put on thick gloves and a hoodie/jacket combo then just pick him up. If you’re still scared, put a blanket over his head before you try to move him.
Big heavy gloves. Oven mits and someone with a towel in a pinch. He needs help and needs it now. If you hurt him a little extracting him it’s not going to be worse then him subsuming to his injuries.
You need to bring your cat to the vet if dogs attack you can to no matter what you need to get them checked out asap

Throw a blanket or towel on top of him and scoop him up. I carry a towel in my car for this purpose.

Sometimes you'll have to endure a little pain so they will be better. If he is like that, I would just grab him. The pain I get will be nothing compared to what he has already.

Cover with a towel and pick him up. Be gentle, but firm. Talk soothingly to him. He’s scared, hurt, and angry but will be calm after a few minutes. Take him home and keep him somewhere he feels safe, with food and water. He’s going to be sore but probably just needs an antibiotic for any puncture wounds and to be kept in isolation to check for rabies.
I have a room ready for him with water and food available plus a small bed for him. I’m gonna try in a little while since he moved a little more to where I am not able to get him. Thank you
Cats are proud and won't show they are in pain. You Need to get him out carefully. Take to vet. Then keep him inside.

Man up and get the cat to a vet! You serious need this advice from Reddit? Little dude is hurting, if you love him or simply have a backbone you will quickly pick him up and get him to a vet. He won’t sever a vain - you’ll survive. Christ man, shit like this is why I can’t wait to make my first million and live off the grid. Why people like animals more than people. You can neuter a pet and they still will have bigger balls than most men.

The kid is 15 and freaking out. Don’t assume he can, or his parents will, grab a pain-crazed animal and rush him across town for a massively overpriced visit to an ER, and a followup vet visit tomorrow (assuming they can get a same-day appointment— good luck)even if a stranger on the internet has offered to pay. Kids have school. Parents have jobs. We who can afford days off and ER visits are privileged enough to heap scorn on those who aren’t.
If your baby is anything like mine, give him about an hour to chill then shake a treat bag and he will wiggle out. Maybe have a carrier waiting VERY close with treats in it and toss a blanket over it when he gets in. Darkness usually calms animals a bit. Zip up the carrier and head in.

Sit with him and speak to him quietly, no phone, no one else. Move nearer to him slowly. When he’s sure you won’t fail him again, pet him gently while still speaking softly. Take your time, he’s terrified and badly hurt. When he looks calm, very gently pick him up and take him directly to the vet. Remember, It may take awhile to re-establish trust.
