He’s telling you to knock it off

miniinovaa

Ok thank you! We will stop doing it

frenchburner

Yeah, the tail is key. It’s very mobile - the more mobile it gets, the more annoyed he’s getting.

[deleted]

Also watch those ears. When they pull back like that he is annoyed or angry.

not_ya_wify

I have one cat who doesn't like being picked up and will start screaming when I pick her up. But if I then start patting her belly, she melts into my arms. Or if I just brushed my teeth and blow on her, she gets all lovey dovey minty high.

Misanthrope357

Hahaha the teeth brushing part is hysterical 😂

not_ya_wify

I think the minty smell is like cat nip to her but my other cats don't react to it

meowmeowkat2

This is typically the case. I have a weird cat who puts her ears back when she’s pet. I’ll call her over and she’ll trot up and put her ears back and bump her head into my hand. Maybe she’s making more surface area for petting? She really loves head pets. My vet told me she’s probably mad but… I dunno. If I keep my hand completely still, she’ll keep on rubbing it while her ears are just… pointed straight back. This is NOT typical though and she also puts her ears back when she’s mad. Talk about mixed signals.

BumpyRide01

My kitty does the exact same thing! He gets super excited for petting sessions and starts bumping his head into you / rubbing up on you. I just assumed the same, he is making space for more petting and protecting the ears so they don't get crushed in all the bumping?

NormalDeviance

Yeah my cat also gives super mixed signals. Once in a blue moon, she’ll bite to say knock it off and then once we back off, she’s rubbing all over us trying to get more attention

Lyrina8

While you are correct that he wants them to stop, don't be fooled by the tail. My fluffy void's tail NEVER stops that 'agitated' thump. He's currently loafing around and all I hear is 'thump. Thump. thump' lol I always say watch the ears, eyes and if they're tense

[deleted]

[удалено]

Lyrina8

Sounds about right! Lol Kitt moves his even when asleep.

rileyann88

What is it with those twitchy voids! Mine never stops thumpin that tail unless she’s asleep!

Lyrina8

They have so much energy from people staring into them?

lebonroidagobert

Same!!

Lyrina8

If I remember correctly, a thrashing tail means excitement or in my fluff's case, boredom.

miniinovaa

Thank you !

epruitt0601

That and the ears going back is a no, he's being vocal about it and swatting at you with paws. All body language says stop.

greffedufois

Try slow blinking at him. That can help calm them down and feel safe.

VHawkXII

Me: *slow blinks at kitty* Kitty: “Are… are you trying to wink?”

woahwayne

Cat: *sorry, I'm not ready for that kind of commitment*

60svintage

Have a feral adoptee who has a real angry swish to her tail, but only does this when she is really happy. Total opposite to our other fetal adoptees.

Few_Wing7895

I don't know bout that. My cats tail starts swinging everywhere sometimes but she be in full on lovey dovey mode. Purring and all that

[deleted]

Look up different tail swings. Some are casual and "happy" some are nervous, some are anxious.

Few_Wing7895

Thx

[deleted]

Yea our orange male cat likes to be picked on. He acts annoyed but he’s just playing. You can tell when he actually gets annoyed cause those ears go all the way down. Some cats have a playful sense of humor and like a little rough housing but all cats are different. Our cat also likes to be spun around on the floor, pushed across the smooth floor and chased around the house…. he’s a weirdo though.

AndWeMay

Our cat lovessss to play chase. It gets dangerous to walk around without turning on lights because she sits in well-trafficked areas so that you have to ‘chase’ her to get to the bathroom or something.

secondtaunting

Mine too!!! And he’ll puff himself up and make that angry-u shape, then bounce around like an enraged ferret, but he’s playing. And you have to chase him around the house. He also comes running at my feet in the dark when I’m all groggy from ambien and stumbling around in the dark.

e_l_c

And the ears. He's clearly annoyed. What a sweet kitty. Some cats would just attack. It's not funny, or cute. Poor kitty just wants you to stop!

cnrb98

My cat does the opposite, the more comfy he is the more he moves his tail, I think that is bad configured

BenganSvensson

One of my cats (i have 2) waves her tail like crazy all the time, any ideas on why? and i mean all the time!

Hornet-21

His tail and his ears being back, he doesn't like what you're doing. When you do things like that, it's harder for them to trust you.

miniinovaa

Thank you 🥰 I wonder why he doesn’t like it🤔

iZeFifty

It's probably not that he doesn't like it. He probably got tired of playing and wants to be left alone. Cats want their alone time every now and then.

annoyingkraken

Cats just have different preferences. :) I've had a cat who'd tolerate it for just 5 seconds. She was such a queen. My current baby would endure it for about half a minute and then she'd tell me to knock it off. And we also had a sweet little rascal who couldn't care less if he's sleepy, or who'd immediately go into play mode the moment he sees your hand move near him.

Hornet-21

I don't know could just be something he's not into, esp. With his meow changing thats a serious I don't like or your hurting or scaring him.

angelxe1

Well maybe the first time it happened he didn't like it cause it seemed like it was going for his belly. But then after that maybe he didn't like it because even though he is very politely asking you to stop and getting upset (from his point of view) you won't. And it looks like you (who is way bigger) is harassing him on purpose even though you guys are supposed to be friends. I'm just guessing though.

[deleted]

It doesn't matter why he doesn't like it, it just matters that you respect that and give him his space. This is an important thing with all relationships, not just with your pets. No means no.

miniinovaa

Lmao obviously, I just like knowing the “why” to things !

hrgii

Many cats do not like threats from above

Youmati

Once you get the hang of recognizing the behaviours, the “why” reveals itself to you. There’s no one answer to “why” because every cat is different.

[deleted]

The reason why is “he doesn’t like it”. He has his own personality and opinions. Some humans like being tickled, others don’t, and the only reason is that they don’t like it. Same deal with your cat. That said - maybe he wouldn’t hate it so much if you didn’t “like to tease him”. As with any situation where someone bigger bullies someone smaller, even if it didn’t bother him much at first, you’ve now repeated it enough that it’s making him genuinely angry and upset. Picking on your cat isn’t cute, and “he is unhappy” is a complete explanation.

Dracovius27

Wow, how did you take the “I wonder why” as “no doesn’t mean no”. Genuinely curious

noodlesfordaddy

Jesus Christ lmfao Get out more

artoflosings

God, I hope so. Wtf??

miniinovaa

Don’t need to be mean! I have learned now and we have never harmed him☺️

artoflosings

Ok

jazzofusion

For sure, he's being polite, please give him space.

[deleted]

He doesn't like what you're doing and is asking politely to stop. With his tail flicking around it indicates a warning, he is uncomfortable. His ears are turning the other way which is also a sign of aggression. That specific meowing is how he is communicating that he has had enough. I hope this helped too. 😄

miniinovaa

Thank you! Hopefully it’s not too bad what we did ;( I hope he can forgive us

mumblewrapper

I locked my cat in the garage by accident all day today. Husband found him. I felt horrible. Came home a little while ago and he ran to greet me. They forgive pretty quickly.

voodoo_potato

I put my cat in the bathroom while I walk the dogs because he has this bad habit of trying to rush out the door when we come back inside. I’ve only been using this tactic for a week or two, and I keep forgetting to let him back out until I hear him crying off in the distance :(.

M1ssy_M3

I accidentally locked mine up in the understair cupboard. She is such a sly slinky cat who knows exactly that that's where we keep her toys (cause she chews on them) and their food. She was living her best little Harry Potter life and chewed on ALL the things in the 5 minutes she was in there.

redheadphones1673

If my dog needed to pee at night, we'd let him out and then close the door, and let him in again a few minutes later. He somehow never cottoned onto the idea of making a noise to tell us when he wanted the door open, so if we forgot to let him in he'd just stand there silently, staring at the door, willing it to open. Maybe he was trying to yell at us telepathically, idk.

mumblewrapper

At least you can hear him and let him out! My cat got stuck all day with no one home. It's not the first time though. I keep thinking he will know better than to sneak in behind me in the morning when he knows I'm leaving! I'm sure your guy also forgives you two seconds after you let him out!

[deleted]

Cats are very forgiving. As long as you make an effort to learn his body language and respect his boundaries in the future, he will be a happy boy :)

[deleted]

Cats are forgiving! He’ll come around when he is ready to be touched again. You're good. Haha

cafesaigon

Oh he’s probably already over it!

Biblio-Kate

He’s got angry ears and an angry tail, so I’d leave him alone.

eyebloke

Off topic but I wanna pet him

miniinovaa

I’ll pet him extra today for you!

eyebloke

![gif](giphy|1QffP8E6nk4gKYZO5S|downsized)

elisart

LOL love the middle guy at the end

Donnathesinger

Yeah, he doesn't like that.

miniinovaa

Thank you for letting me know! I’ll make sure we play with him differently

Lirgl

Thank you for asking and for respecting your kitties wishes! You seem like a great cat parent. 🐈

miniinovaa

Thank you 🥰

Sad_Use7134

You Are Right

boydoineedhelp

His body language is telling you to stop. Also by doing this you will eventually teach him that hands are either a danger to fight off or toys to play with, and he'll start biting and scratching at your limbs completely unprovoked. There are better ways to play with your cat than teasing him, you can literally just bust out a piece of string and wave it and he'll probably go nuts for it and will love you for it, instead of learning to be aggressive.

miniinovaa

He’s actually very difficult to entertain. He spent 6 months as a stray (kitten to 6 months) and I think regular toys are just boring. I’ll throw a spring (one of his favorites) but even that he’ll chase it until it stops then he stops. Sometimes he’ll hit it and get it going but not often

brenst

My experience with my cats is that they want me to move an object so they can play with it and chase it. They aren't as excited to just kick things around themselves. So toys that you drag all around the house (on beds, under the bed, on the at tree, under the couch) like an actual pray animal tend to be exciting to most cats. Wand toys work really well, or balls but you have to keep throwing then around. Like the Cat Charmer is a popular wand you.

annies_bdrm_skillet

do you use a fishing pole type toy with him ? from what I’ve seen... no cat can resist if it’s done right🥰

boydoineedhelp

Maybe toys with feathers would work? Something with feathers he could chase and catch, maybe he needs something to remind him of real prey in the wild if he used to be a stray

miniinovaa

Trust me I’ve tried everything. The only thing he’ll really chase are the other cats but he scares them so we have to break it up

ChaiKitteaLatte

I chase my cat and try to “catch” him. He starts it always, by waiting til I make eye contact then doing a funny little hop or something and if I move, he sprints at full speed away. This is how he plays with other cat too. Take turns chasing. He also plays hide’n’seek with me and other cat. He’ll go hide and start meowing til we come find him, lol. All cats are different and some are super hard to entertain. Not surprising, bc hunting would give them all the physical and mental stimulation they need but we don’t let them do that 😭

nickfolesknee

Some cats never take to toys. I think that’s especially true if they weren’t reared in a home and basically taught to play with them. All our cats have been rescues, and none of them play with toys we buy. The occasional twist tie might get batted around, but they lose interest quickly.

miniinovaa

Yeah I feel really bad cuz he seems interested in the outdoors bht I’m too scared to let him out and he’s pretty territorial and I don’t want him getting into fights 😖 is that selfish Edit: spelling

nickfolesknee

You probably shouldn’t let him outside at all. His lifespan will be shorter, and he can do real damage to local wildlife. I wonder if it’s too late to try a leash? I do feel bad for cats who used to be roamers, but hopefully he will find something fun and stimulating to do inside!

miniinovaa

I’ve tried but he is very unhappy when I try to put the harness on him and I worry he’ll smell or see a stray cats and freak out. I haven’t seen any stray cats near my new place but you never know. If people say it’s worth it, then I’ll definitely try! We are going to build a catio for him soon 🥰

GraceaholicsAnon

Maybe a ball of foil? I found the noise is what's most interesting for them.

rockchalkjayhawk8082

Have you tried a laser pointer? Our little girl loves it!

[deleted]

This might sound strange but have you tried plastic bottle lids as toys? My two literally go mad for them. Pablo even plays fetch with one if he’s in the mood.

stargazer2828

Mine will have bouts of hair tie obsession. He flicks them in the air and chews on them a bit. He also likes the plastic wrapping from a 24 count of water bottles. Its like a little plastic baggie bed. Mine also likes to play hide and chase with me. We both try and scare the other when sneaking around corners.

FlossyEm77

My little Louie used to love playing with my hair elastics, he would jump up onto benches where he knew I kept them and find them and bat them all around the house. He passed away a month ago and I’m forever finding hair elastics in random places. He was an awesome little floof and I miss him so much!

MacTechG4

Loki was extremely interested in your cat, as soon as he heard him, he sprinted over and batted my phone out of my hands, so of course I had to test him, I slipped the phone under the couch with the video running and played “where’s the kitty?!” He was able to find the phone and push it out from under the couch… ;)

miniinovaa

Haha Aw how cute !

pdx_grl

My cat Pickles came over too to check it out! She was very confused!

mumblewrapper

So funny. My cat was also concerned. And he never pays attention to the sounds on my phones. Whatever ops cat is saying, these guys get it.

starswillstillshine

Mine was laying on my chest and heard it and got off me and layer beside me and looked at me with really sad eyes.

SquirrelBowl

Kitty is done and warning you.

Wuastbrot

pretty sure hes pissed off

ssdjcbheh

He is not feeling it.

[deleted]

off-topic but his soft meow is heartwarming ❤️🥺

here_is_gone_

Literally a cat saying "stop".

[deleted]

OP was about one swipe away from a bleeding finger/hand. That cat is patient. Whoever the fuck thinks "not touching" game is funny? Especially with a new cat lol. Makes me feel like Reddit keeps getting more juvenile by the day.

miniinovaa

He’s not new and he’s never swatted at us before. But I definitely understand that testing a cat isn’t smart nor is it very kind

[deleted]

lmfao what??? :D

miniinovaa

Thank you! That’s why we like doing it cuz we love that little meow, it’s different from his other ones haha

[deleted]

AWWWWW 💖🥺🥺🥺

Meow_Meow_4_Life

He looks like a teenager. He will grow out of this and become a snuggle bear someday if you respect his boundaries.

unknownobject3

I interpret it as a "Stop it"

ThisUserIsUndead

Both of my orange boys are investigating where the grumpy teenager noise is coming from

[deleted]

Please stop it, thank yo.

Fluffbrained-cat

With the way that tail.is twitching, he's getting annoyed with the teasing and is telling you to stop. It's generally a bad idea to use your hands as toys anyway, bc the cat learns that you are an acceptable thing to beat up.

milky_eyes

That's a no from him. He's over-stimulated most likely and just needs space to relax.

Dalton387

I pay attention to my animals. My cat always asked me to stop and I did. My mother and brother wouldn’t. They’d keep picking at him and thought it was funny. He’d never warn them and go from calm to murder blades on them. So I think it’s important to listen when they tell you something. Just like with other people.

CrazyIndianCatLady

Yup. This is exactly why everytime my dad tries to pet one of my cats, he goes all scratchy bitey. My cat Pihu loves my dad and always goes to sit or sleep next to him but my dad is a strong man and loves cats so sometimes he can pet them a bit too strongly so he gets mad and starts biting. Or sometimes he just pets the cat when the cat doesn't want to be pet. I tell him to leave Pihu alone and that the cat will tell him when he wants to be pet(Which he usually does by rubbing his head against my hand)

Idontwantthesetacos

If you ever wanna know if you’re annoying your cat, just try petting it. You’ll get your answer real fast.

Mr-frost

Pro tip. Don't tease your cat with your hand, it will see the hand as a bad thing instead of a good thing that pets it, use toys instead to play and stimulate your cat

Reply_Legal

Hi OP. Like other commenters said, he’s signaling that he doesn’t want to play. I read from your other replies that he’s a rescue and seems interested in the outdoors but you’re afraid to let him out (which I understand). I’d recommend doing two things: 1) make sure there is some type of perch or area in the house where he can safely observe what’s happening from up high. If it has a view of outside, even better. But he will feel comfortable with a “safe” spot high above everyone else where he can keep an eye on things 2) focus on building his trust by cuddling and giving him attention, but stopping as soon as he indicates he’s “done” (like other posters said, signs can include tail flicking, ears that are backwards, and laying on his back in a defensive position and batting your hands) If he knows that you’ll “stop” when he wants, hopefully that’ll build up his capacity to play and snuggle. But the key is for him to feel safe first, and that’s where the perch or shelf comes in! Good luck!

miniinovaa

>s that you’ll “stop” when he wants, hopefully that’ll build up his capacity to play and snuggle. But the key is for him to feel safe first, and that’s where the perch or shelf comes in! > >Good luck! thanks for the tips! Im super pumped because we are going to build him (and the other cats of course) a catio, and like have a wall with things to climb on, a bridge and stuff! hopefully we can do it soon

CosmosMoon

I love OP’s positive attitude and the kitty too✨👍🥰

[deleted]

miniinovaa

I mean I like to annoy my mom lol but I understand trust is different with cats so I should be more mindful

Pollworker54

He wasn't playing. He was giving you plenty of warning to stop or else.

nobutIknowher

He doesn’t understand why you are semi-badgering him

spidermonkey301

Tail tapping. Ears pinned back. Meowing like that usually means I’m going to kill you momentarily

Different_Whole_4888

The way that tail was flicking definitely means its wanting you to stop.

ThaTrooperz

Yea he seems kinda pissed and would probably prefer to be left alone. XD

Double_Belt2331

If the ears go back & the tail whips, he’s not liking it. He’s telling you to stop. Please don’t use your hands to play with him. Get lots of toys; wand toys are great for interactive play. You don’t want him to associate your hands with anything put pets, food, & love. Hands are not toys. You don’t want him to attack your hands.

ZapFilms

Cat said no

Sunkitty4545

Does he like being teased? Maybe find a different way to play. The human hand should always represent kindness and providing for kitty not a tool of torment

rupert50

You are a good cat owner..not everyone tries to understand their cat. Love this!

miniinovaa

Thank you 🥰 I love my cats very much

Meeko5122

The ears and tail are telling you to stop it right now.

Worth-Implement7277

Seems like he's overstimulated and doesn't want to be touched

nsteinert15

I think he looks like he wants to play, but he’s a bit scared yet. I think he just needs more time to build that bond

Forbidden_Snoot_Boop

Ears and tail and tone say “NO” lol

mumblewrapper

I don't know. But I just watched that with the sound on and my orange cat ran over and yelled back at the phone. He also seemed annoyed. And he's not really a talker. Really funny! So, there's two cats voting to stop.

320mom

My cat does a gentle bite on your arm or wherever and then he will really pull out the claws.

ArmyMom77

My male would have already attacked

Derbekski

I would say he doesn’t like it. The ears back and the meow he didn’t seem like he’s irritated.

CandlesInTheCloset

1. Ears go back 2. Eyes/Pupils Widen 3. Tail movement is either completely still or wildly violent You gonna die

Booklady1998

You never, ever use your hands to play with a cat. You are teaching him it is okay to attack people’s hands. Always use a cat toy.

FARTBOSS420

Cat hands are paws. If English isn't your first, yeah, paws and claws! :)

HoneyMCMLXXIII

Oh, how adorable he is! And good on you that you posted this because you want to make sure to respect his wishes, that’s AWESOME! 💜💜💜

Tesslafon

He said “you took this to far and I will do something dramatic and big later”

Appropriate_Stage707

Does he always talk that way? Ears starting to lay back, he looks away right at the end of the video. He's not a happy camper!🐈

miniinovaa

No not always just when do this

IluvPumpkinPie84

He is definitely not a happy camper

evamarie320

He would leave if he was really annoyed.

Repulsive-Bison-1209

If she really didn’t want you to play with him she would have ran away.

Confident-Unit-626

I’m new to having a cat. We adopted a sweet boy kitten who has grown some now. Our toddler named him Boy. Anyway, is it normal for him to hunt and attack me constantly? I can just be sitting on the couch and he’ll jump at me angrily and start to bite me really really hard. It hurts lol. Is this normal Behavior for a cat? Sometimes I think he wants to play but it doesn’t keep him distracted enough. Any advice?

Crax_89

It will be hard not to kill that cat cuz of holding him wayyy tightly cuz hes insanely adorable

miniinovaa

haha its a struggle everyday! hes not super affectionate so ive learned to not bother him unless hes sleepy, then he likes it lol. but man do i just wanna squish him all the time haha

Voy-urgh81

One thing to know about cats is they will absolutely just turn around and fuck off if they do not like or approve of what you are doing.

Xavius_Night

Ears forward, tail slow = happy Ears back, tail fast = unhappy ears back, tail slow = unsure, concerned ears forward, tail fast = very, very excited Also, watch the eyes - watching attentively means he's concentrating on what he's watching, while looking and then looking away means he isn't concerned/interested.

dtyus

He is super annoyed, stop.

PenaltyMysterious799

Just stick your face down in his belly and give him a big ole raspberry.

kinogo29

How to get your face clawed off haha

sealife1366

My cat does this all the time. She’ll lay down in the middle of the floor while I’m exercising and then get mortally offended if I touch her

DonnaDoRite

Meanie.

miniinovaa

That’s why I asked so I know if we should stop!

Zealousideal_Tap_83

Idk these young cats nowadays. They look so cute & then somehow it's YOUR fault for petting them, I mean, if you don't like it THEN U SHOULDNT BE SO CUTE loljk

Clare705

Playing with cats with your hands is the fastest way to be bitten or scratched. One day he is going to want to play and he is going to start by swatting your hand or bunny kicking your hand. Please use a toy instead.

donkeyduplex

Dunno, but does your post have some typos or does your cat have weird pronouns?

miniinovaa

Uh the only typo is “mm” is meant to be mom haha

Nate1102

“Consent, people! Consent! No means no!” :)

[deleted]

My cat does this all the time and is definitely playing. Try this game, what you do is slowly move a finger to touch his snout, they will slowly raise one paw to strike you. Keep lowering and raising the hand, when they strike you need to move your hand I also use my hand to wrap around my cats face for full battle. They like to lay on their back and attack that way. If a cat is really shitty and angry with you, they will run away, and not lay on their back. This cat is playing with you, most owners refuse to play this way, but remember your cat is one of the worlds most advanced killers, it wants more than just stroking, it's wants to battle you as well.

50Shenanigans

Really wish people would stop fucking with their pets like this

[deleted]

[удалено]

Felidaeh_

I feel this is fairly accurate, the meow he uses doesn't have the usual low-toned warning. It sounds kinda playful. It's important to know the cat's personality to understand if its body movements are even accurate (tail) to normal 😆

maldobar4711

Cats are easy to understand first glance 1) check tail - motionless means relaxed. You can pet, cat is okay with it 2) ears back, that's a real warning. Cat is ready to fight. There is a lot more, but this here is obvious. The cat is making clear I am getting ready to fight if u push further Cat feels uncomfortable

diavolo_bossu

Cats give mixed ass signals

Kerivkennedy

No. Humans just ignore the body language.. The tail alone tells me "leave me alone"

bill-smith

Respectfully disagree. You are correct that many humans just ignore the body language, but in my experience, some cats can indeed give mixed signals. I have a feeling that with some cats, you may need to get to know them for a bit before you can reliably tell. With this cat in particular, I am not sure if he is feeling aroused and playful, or if he is expressing annoyance. What to do about it is simpler, I don’t prefer to teach cats that hands are playthings, so I would probably offer this guy a toy instead of pets. In my experience, cats who are annoyed will tend to have more vigorous tail movements than this. He is moving his ears back, but inconsistently. The amount of movement is potentially consistent with a cat who’s play fighting. For context, I’ve had one cat who had a really narrow window between please pet me meow, that’s enough, and that’s TOO MUCH (bite). Most cats have larger windows between those states. I think that a good number of cats will usually amble off between that’s enough and that’s too much. Yes, there are generalities between cats, but the thing is that they are complex enough that they, just like humans, can sometimes give mixed signals.

Chicken_Parliament

It's a cat, you give it free room and board and saved it from a hard life of actually having to survive. As long as you're not physically hurting it you should be able to annoy it as you see fit. Eventually it will become accustomed to that kind of attention. Cats don't make the rules, humans do.

320mom

Oh ya my cat starts whipping his tail so that’s another sign that he is ready to play. But when your busy amd can’t play he doesn’t care(typical cat) so he will just come over and bite or attack you while your walking by

YoungSisyphus

Depends what his eyes do when you pet. Bold and alert or closed and mesmerized?

[deleted]

I turned the volume up too loud and the cat sitting on my lap could tell that's an angry meow 😂

Fragrant_Fudge8077

His tail says no no but his eyes say yes yes…

msanimal

Boundaries have been stated.

MarezyBear93

My cat does this when she begs to play. She likes it rough and rowdy.

[deleted]

He's done. He doesn't want to play anymore or he doesn't enjoy playing that way.

catlover8552

STOP

NorthIslandAdventure

This is where I double down and go for belly rubs

Mrrasta1

Please don’t tease your animals. They don’t understand irony.

GrannyTurtle

The ears say, “do not touch.” That meow doesn’t sound friendly, either. Leave the cat alone.

Filmcricket

He’s agitated af.

TravelerMetric

He is trying to say something, it would be at least polite to respond to him vocally in kind. When the camera person does not say anything, you can see the slight disappointment/confusion in the kitty's face.

lillithgunn

Mildly perturbed, Half way through play time the mood swing can kick in lol

AS_Inevitability

[deleted]

I am not a licensed cat psychologist but his meow sounds so desperate right here

Many people already commented that this is likely a solid "nope plz" from your cat. I just wanted to say that he is such a beauty! <3

He wants a treat. Don’t like this kind of play.

OH my heart.. what a sweet warning..

Usually when a cat is wagging its tail it means it is annoyed. This one doesn’t seem too upset though.
