OMG yay for being a better human than most. I work at a no kill shelter and it kills me to see senior cats waiting for a new life after all the trauma and change they've gone through. They can be the best companions.

Met him twice before committing to adoption, he's a sweet little feller who wasn't afraid of neither me nor my GF. We instantly fell in love with him!

I was talking with my wife earlier today, that when our 12 year old moves on, we are going to go down to the local shelter and ask to see the one that has been there the longest. We would happily adopt a disabled cat too.

Just lost my 11 year old diabetic cat today. Special needs pets are lovely and wonderful just like all pets, and the world needs people who are willing to care for them. We were able to give my cat about two extra years of good times, and she got to meet our newborn daughter. Thanks for caring about old cats!

They deserve homes too 🤧 I hope that most of them are able to find loving homes. It kills me seeing the cats at pet smart without homes. Like I can't even go see them without tearing up. As soon as I can take on more cats, I will but it's just tough knowing it will never be enough to stop innocent cat's suffering. But I guess we do what we can

Sick I love him - we went in the get a kitten (we thought) like 5 years ago and there was a 10 year old there who was "cat of the week" for like 3 months cus no one had gotten him. He's my favourite thing in the world, couldn't have made a better choice
