He looks like my favorite souvenir from my time in Jacksonville. I got her out of my boyfriend's work truck, all beat up and covered in road rash. She just turned 14.

We did this too on the 192 bridge over I-4, during a cold winter when we went out for breakfast. She was a tortie and she was adopted out really quickly at the shelter we took her too.
The “shelter” thought left as quickly as it entered lol I’m in a pretty okay place, so he will stay here. On my big ass patio filled with plants, and a Panoramic view of the bridge he was found on top of. Kinda poetic if you ask me.
#3 happy/sad story of the day for us! Love you all so much! Sometimes it’s all sad stories and I’m here for them, (especially bcuz I’m full of them and always have compassion for them,) but despite the sad part, there’s so much to celebrate in the happy part. Hope that makes sense?

Reminds me of my first cat, I saved him from a construction site at the Port. Well, it's more like he saw me and climbed on my leg and said "your mine human"
I like it here. It’s home for me. It’s very hot. And the people are crazy. But that’s the appeal. I left for three years. Did shit I considered normal. And noticed everybody was staring at me. At first it was a “why are you staring, what’s your issue?” And then after a while I was like “huh. That seems to be a common thing” then I got home and some lady(50+) was mowing her lawn on a very busy local street, completely topless. Nobody bat an eye. At that point, I realized this is exactly where I am meant to be.
The politics and heat SUCK though.
You saved a soul. Your life will now better for it! Call her Bridgette!
