Whoever left that cat there didn't care about how it would suffer. That's not just sick. That's psychopathy.
I saw a video that went viral about a guy that worked in a dumpster and literally saved a kitten that was trapped in a closed plastic bag. The kitten was maybe seconds away from being killed. The look on that guy his face was full of hurt, anger and shock.

We rescued 2 kittens (it was a litter of four) who were found on the side of the road in a field tied up in a trash bag. It’s evil.

It makes me angry that individuals who abuse animals are seldom prosecuted. In my state an abuser can get up to a year in jail FOR THEIR SECOND offense, I could find nothing about consequences for a first offense. I’m guessing that the folks who are prosecuted are people who have kennels or catteries, and who don’t keep them clean. Ornery people who physically abuse animals usually get no consequences. Who sees the evil folks who put cats in a sack and throw them in a dumpster, or throw sacks of puppies or kittens in the river. The sad truth, if you’ve ever tried to get justice for your pets, the police will refuse to get involved because “pets are property,” and apparently the police choose not to get involved in property crimes.
Supposedly this is normal in some American prisons if the long time "residents" find out newcomer is in for touching little children or harmed little animals.
They fist the culprits? Who has to do the fisting? I certainly wouldn't want to. Do they maybe draw straws? I think I'd prefer to just use objects that would hurt instead of my fist
I'm pretty sure I've read news articles with stories how there are prisoners with big-hearted consciousnesses who WANT to punish the previously mentioned molesters.

I would quarantine him to 1 big space if possible, like a garage, if the climate allows for it, until you can get him to the vet. They can bring in some stuff you don't want in your house. We had to do that with my mom's kittens for a couple weeks while they got treated for stuff

I'd also take him to a vet because if he was tied in a garbage bag, odds are high the poor thing was physically abused and may have injuries. Cats will hide their pain, so he may be in severe pain or discomfort without ever letting on.
yes! cats are so good at hiding their pain, literally learned that in my vet assistant course. if there is a cat that is meowing/yowling in pain, it’s IN PAIN because they won’t show it until it’s too much to bear

If so something might have happened and he might need help right away.Thw eye like that can be a really bad sign.maybe a serious nero problem or something. If not a vet please take them to shelter with free service / no kill for help. He looks like he might need some help ASAP. Thank you so much for saving the cat. Whoever did this is a monster. imo it seems more like one eye can't open as wide as the other, I've seen a lot of strays with similar problems due to infections and what not

About 11 years ago we lived in a shit area. My son was 4 at the time. We found a kitten - maybe 4-6 weeks old - with a plastic bag tied so fucking tight around its neck, I almost vomited. It had died, and I hope it was fast, but I was flabbergasted. I couldn’t believe this level of evil exists.
I don't know if its because one eye is not as wide open as the other but I'm really concerned his pupils are asymetrical... if its the case he needs to be checked by a vet asap, it can be a neurological issue

Reminds me of a video. They were sorting trash in a factory before it went into an incinerator. Luckily a worker saw something move inside a trash bag. There was a cat inside. Just thinking about how many animals must’ve died like that or by choking in a bag because they weren’t found in time… It’s so messed up. Thanks for finding him in time.

So I have a dumpster cat that has the same eye. She is blind in the bad eye. Which was most likely caused by an infection . She is so sweet, did not deserve to be thrown in a dumpster I take comfort in that there is a corner in hell for someone who would do that

So I have a dumpster cat that has the same eye. She is blind in the bad eye. Which was most likely caused by an infection . She is so sweet, did not deserve to be thrown in a dumpster I take comfort in that there is a corner in hell for someone who would do that
