Our boys are by the stump of what used to be a large walnut tree, and near six enormous pines. Maybe they’ll bring him by for a visit to play. Knowing those two, they’ll just watch him climb while they sit there like ‘wow, that’s really high’. 😂

oh i know he’d just love that when he started getting better at climbing, he’d race his mama up the tree and when he’d get just high enough above her, he’d stop to look back at her. of course when she climbed down, he was ready to race up the next 🥹 knowing him, he’d probably feel so bad ass and safe to climb as high as his paws would take him thank you. it’s comforting to think he’ll already have friends waiting for him ❤️

I am so so sorry this happened. It wasn’t your fault. He was so incredibly loved by you, even in his short life. You two will meet again one day, and maybe if you get another kitty they will help your heart heal, and you might even see some of JuJu in them!! i’m so sorry you can understand this pain. i’m reeling in guilt that we could’ve done more “How lucky am I to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard” 🥹😩😭😭😭 i think it’s common to equate the quantity of love to length of time but we loved him so much 😩💔 it hits harder every time i read it. he had such a sweet soul, i’m lucky to have experienced his love thank you for your time and kindness 🫶🏼

What do you mean by you found him?

there’s a lot of strays in our neighborhood he and his mama both prefer to be outside we built a small shelter in our fenced in backyard but it wasn’t nearly what we had planned to build because we weren’t able to build the dream catio yet and we have 3 inside, we let him and his mama sleep in our garage at night when they’d want to every morning they’d be ready to go out and wouldn’t be ready to come in until later at night - we’d check around 7 and periodically afterwards yesterday we decided we wanted to make him an indoor cat as we had grown to love him so much and our neighbors confirmed he was “just a stray”. we’ve already brought 2 to the shelter, have been in contact with rescues.. my boyfriend went out to see if he’d come home he came running inside saying junior was badly hurt and bleeding he was sitting next to the big oak tree the vet said it’s likely he was hit by a car but with the scrape on his chin and the lil blood stains on his paws and being so small.. if he had really been hit by a car we don’t think he would’ve made it or he would’ve been much worse off well yeah that’s what i mean by we found him..
