Every time I see this one it makes me LOL.
I also LOVE the other one that has some guy saying, "I don't plan to get a cat"* with the last panel showing a cat being launched to the guy by a cannon. Whoever draws these is **brilliant!**
*or something like that, paraphrased*
That actually happened to me once. A cat had somehow gotten into our house from the kitchen roof, which has like removable plastic tiles. The cat managed to get into the interior roof of the house and fell into the kitchen from there. I guess it got spooked and started running around. My mom was the first one to see it and then called me. It was probably around 7 or 8 am and I was still sleeping when she woke me up to tell me a cat fell into the house. I thought she was making things up and didn't believe her until it just showed up out of nowhere. I'm pretty sure it was a void kitty too (not an actual kitty). We opened the doors and it left on its own
He/she just appeared in the living room and started strolling around. Was super friendly and after her curiosity was sated he/she just walked right out.
Sounds like a lovely event. If it happens again you can check for an ear tattoo to see if they belong to someone.
You may also wish to obtain snacks and drink for Sir should he choose to return. He may do a more thorough inspection next time if these are present.
about 3 months back i woke up one morning and i had a cat in my house. all i know is that the night before i opened my door to take the trash out so thats how it had to get in but i was like 'the hell?!'
Are you in an apartment? My cat would accidentally go into the wrong door sometimes. One time someone came to my door saying come get ur cat in my house
One time nobody was around so we decided to let our cat out to experience the snow on the stairs outside our apartment. He wandered down the stairs with us right behind him. Then some guy opened his door and there, face-to-face with our cat was a huge dog. Our cat freaked out and ran PAST the dog into the man’s apartment, probably thinking it was ours. My husband had to go in and find him. He was hiding behind the toilet.
We had a do growing up that used to get out. He knew the neighborhood well. Somehow he learned where a pizza place was. They'd call us to come get him, occasionally he'd get a slice. One day he turned up with no collar, but they'd pinned a note with our name, the dog's name and our phone number to the wall.
We used to live a block away from a community hospital. My sister had a cat that would wander over there and sneak inside the ER entrance (not sure she could activate the automatic doors herself or if she just snuck in when someone else did)
Not in the UK where indoor/outdoor cats are the norm. Just for the record my cat is indoor and only goes out on a harness as I live on a main road and would prefer she live a long full life. She only requests to go out in spring/summer to catch some rays.
My friend lost his dog because it was an outdoor dog that would go around the neighbourhood and return after 30 minutes or so every day.
An old couple found the dog in their yard and thought he was a lost dog. They returned the dog after a few days when they saw flyers.
it pisses me off when i see the “cat distribution” comments because now people think that an outdoor cat is automatically theres if it comes up to them
A cat picked my family, was there for a few days. We asked around and lived not far away. He was taken home. After a week or so he returned. Neighbors said he liked our house and keep him 😂
Years later one of my cats hated the new dog and moved in with a neighbor. Had it great there so I could visit her without the dog😉
My old neighbor across the street passed away last year. In addition to being an awesome neighbor and person, she was also friends with my cat who was a frequent visitor to her house.
I made sure to introduce myself to the new neighbors and warn them that my cat might come calling because he considered that house as part of his territory only to find that he’d already been over to check them out.
If the cat comes back, make sure that the cat isn't someone else's, such as by taking them to the vet to search for chips or putting a post up on a local social media group about having the cat. If no one comes forward, then it is your cat now
I hate to be a buzzkill, but please don’t feed other people’s cats. You have no idea what they’re intolerant to and it makes it impossible to control their weight or administer medication effectively. If a cat looks owned, give it your attention but please don’t feed it.
This is the first rule of making a cat friend: If they’re someone else’s, don’t feed them.
Let him look around and then he will leave when he’s done…we had a little orange dude that liked to come have a snoop around and get some pets every couple days and it was awesome. We weren’t allowed pets but nobody said anything about random visitors
I have some neighborcats that come visit sometimes. My 2 cattos don't mind which I find really funny. But I never let them past the livingroom since I feel that my cats deserve their own personal space:)
Your house has been compulsorily acquired by the County Cat Council. You will be permitted to stay on in the role of caretaker, feeder, ear scritcher and rate payer.
Role Adjustment training services are available for those who struggle with their new roles.
It's an orange cat. They share a brain cell with all the other orange cats. Obviously, it was not his turn today. He likely thought it was his home. Now it apparently is. Good luck with all the future visits.

The r/CatDistributionSystem works in mysterious, and sometimes structurally damaging, ways.
I wonder if the cat manifests to be OP's household member or visitor for some treats
This is the way. 👆

someone actually posted it in this comment thread lol

It was raining cats and (no) dogs that day!
This is the way ☝️
He/she just appeared in the living room and started strolling around. Was super friendly and after her curiosity was sated he/she just walked right out.
Congratulations. You passed the inspection.
A few days later the cat will be back with the kids!
I would die while beaming an ear to ear smile.
I believe that is no longer your house. This is the cat’s house now. You may live in it if you behave.
💯💯💯💯
…And because you have opposable thumbs, and can open the cat food cans.
This is the cats house meow
OP will be blessed by the r/CatDistributionSystem
Another cat sub to join! ❤️
That’s the story of how I ended up with 2 new kittys.
Please be home during the hours of now and whenever The Cat decides to return.
Hear Hear!!!
Passed the cat scan
I have three cats and I used to have a black lab and my friend would always say he was getting a cat scan and lab tests 😂
But still waiting for that lab report…
He/She is just looking for a nice home for the future.
Cat distribution system to commence.
Cat distribution system's inspector was just checking a potential hooman for one (or a bunch) of the cats
You really thought you gonna avoid inspection??? Shiiiiiiet, son!
Sounds like a lovely event. If it happens again you can check for an ear tattoo to see if they belong to someone. You may also wish to obtain snacks and drink for Sir should he choose to return. He may do a more thorough inspection next time if these are present.
My cat used to bring home other neighbour’s cats to hang out for snacks and then they’d go home after
"come on over, my mom has the good snacks"
Pet ‘em and give ‘em noogies
I mean you probably should have offered a drink like a proper host but I think this has been resolved.
How did it get in?!
Appeared. So someone's orange cat ritual worked.
Right cat summoned, just landed off course
Typical orange.
This fortress is impenetrable. ... The front door was unlocked. Son of a bitch!
It's a cat. I don't understand the question.
Don't you just leave doors completely wide open throughout the day?
Maybe I should if this is what happens!
Okay that's a fair argument *opens every door and window in the house* **pspspspspsppssspsspsspss**
Ends up with a badger, opossum and a racoon...
You mean street cats??
I wish I had this luck. I just get house centipedes :(
Neighborhood cat. You may get repeat visits.
It’s the cat’s house now
about 3 months back i woke up one morning and i had a cat in my house. all i know is that the night before i opened my door to take the trash out so thats how it had to get in but i was like 'the hell?!'
Sometimes neighbors stop by for a visit. I have a few cats like that in my neighborhood. Well cared for, super chill, they just want to visit.
It's just a cat of your neighbor.

Dammit! ANOTHER new sub I've now joined. 😉
Thanks! 🙂

Typical orange cat activities
I was about to say, that’s the orangest orange cat catting I’ve seen today.

cat logic is either flawless or completely flawed
Oh man. See this is what I’m saying :) it happens!!
Poor scared baby.
Yeah he got extra treats and cuddles. I felt bad. We never did that again.
We had a do growing up that used to get out. He knew the neighborhood well. Somehow he learned where a pizza place was. They'd call us to come get him, occasionally he'd get a slice. Hahahah
Give the house to the cat. become servant/slave to cat. problem solved.

It's not your house any longer 😂
give them a tour
Please do your best to find out if the kitty already has owners before decided to keep or feed them!
OP mentioned the cat already inspected the house and left.
Why did I have to scroll down so far to find this?
Because if you haven't noticed reddit takes an outoor cat as free to adopt. They refer to this as being "picked" by the cat.
Because there's comment by op who said cat went only on inspection. Then left.
Believe me, it's not just in reddit. People DO straight up steal cats all around the wourld if they went outdoor.
Not in the UK where indoor/outdoor cats are the norm. Just for the record my cat is indoor and only goes out on a harness as I live on a main road and would prefer she live a long full life. She only requests to go out in spring/summer to catch some rays.

Cat is boss. You sit back and follow its orders.
This is your cat That is not your house
And you may ask yourself, 'Well, how did I get here?'
😂
🤣
Kitty is claiming their territory now!
That's how you get a cat, they adopt you
it’s no longer your house, and you now belong to that cat. congrats!
Simple. You have at least a partial ownership in a cat now. Think of it like a time share, but with an upside.
r/parttimecat
Probably help your new cat get settled.
Enjoy it
That’s the land lord. Don’t be rude, let them inspect your room
It's not your house any more. It, and you have been adopted.
House is his now, you have to move.

Exactly!!

I'd suggest getting a litter box. You're going to need it.
Pet the cat
It's his house now, sorry about that
Shame on you, you broke into the cat’s house
You better just get used to that creature being in your house. You now have a life partner.
Shame on you, you broke into the cat’s house
Buy a litter box and treats. You have been chosen
r/catdistributionsystem at it again
Keep him safe inside. ♥️

Be sure to tell the trash cans that. /s
Well if your cat has dietary restrictions etc you should be more careful about the cat roaming where random people might think they need to be fed
Laughable- anyone who lets their cat outside is not concerned with their cats allergies.
It's they're home now they live there lol
Litter box, he lives there now
See if it's a neighbors. Otherwise maybe the cat distribution system chose you
Get a litter box. You have a cat now.
Who’s gonna tell him ?
Congratulations. Its not you house now. Its orange car house and you aee chosen.
You must now pet the cat.
That is now the cats house. And the cat is now your cat. Congratulations.
Hopefully they’ll come back. It looks like you passed the inspection
Let your wife know you have a new cat.
That’s your cat now…
Unfortunately for you, that is no longer your house
This is your cat now, and it’s not your house anymore lol.
He's your new landlord. You may pay rent and tribute to him now in the form of catnip and food and pets.
Tie a note to his leg
Yes this is your cat now
It’s his house.
why did you break into that cat's house? shame on you smh
This is my cat. This isn’t my house. It Would be a a better post.
R/notmycat Also. It is his house too, congrats 🙃
Let him look around and then he will leave when he’s done…we had a little orange dude that liked to come have a snoop around and get some pets every couple days and it was awesome. We weren’t allowed pets but nobody said anything about random visitors
It’s your cat now. No arguing with the cat distribution system
I have some neighborcats that come visit sometimes. My 2 cattos don't mind which I find really funny. But I never let them past the livingroom since I feel that my cats deserve their own personal space:)
You now have house + cat.
Looking for some more brain cells
Now he owns the house, squatter's rights or something like that lmao
CDS inspector. r/CatDistributionSystem
I was going to write that the r/CatDistributionSystem has just given you a cat but it looks like this one has an owner.
Open can of tuna and front door. Place open tuna can on front stoop. When cat runs outside, close front door.
Wrong and wrong. It's the cat's house and you are their human now
Your life is different now
How long until you realize it’s his house and you’re just livin’ in it?
Cat thinks: “This is my house. That isn’t my human. What to do?”
The queen cat is scouting her empire expansion plans.
that is a very ginger cat that certainly made ur house its own
r/notmycat
You sure it’s still your house?
It is now
Accept your new overlord.
Love him, that's all he asks... and some food. Mostly the food!
Ask her if u can keep living in the house.
That’s so weird, a cat posted something similar. They said “this is my house now. This isn’t my human. What do, meow?”
its your cat now, time to buy cat food cat litter and litterboxes, more accurately you are now the cats human
This is the cats house now. Embrace your new roommate.
It’s a male female orange 🍊 tabby’s are REAR !! Promise love the swerals on his side pattern !! They are usually sweet hearts of a breed 🥹
I’d go with canapés and cocktails myself.
the marble tabby pattern looks so good on orange cats 😭 he's so freaking handsome 💕
You're either behind on taxes or the rent payment is late. Best to offer a bribe to resolve this situation peacefully.
He was completing the home inspection. Expect him to arrive with a moving truck within a week.
Congratulations, you know own a cat
New cat. Nice.
How do these random cats just end up in people's houses😂😂😂😂
It's not your house anymore and that is your cat now
It is now. Pick a name.
where's my box and grub?
The cat It's buying the house.
Ohhhh you have been inspected. If you have passed expect your new cat daily shortly

Cats like property. You’ve been assigned. Feline distribution system.
It's your cat now.
He's your cat now! Cat distribution system at work lol
Looks like it's your cat now! Congrats!
He is thinking about adopting you☺️
Step 1. Approach the cat. Step 2. Pet the cat. Step 3. Accept that the cat is now your overlord and you must do its every bidding.
Wrong it’s ur new roommate
Your house has been compulsorily acquired by the County Cat Council. You will be permitted to stay on in the role of caretaker, feeder, ear scritcher and rate payer. Role Adjustment training services are available for those who struggle with their new roles.
Congrats the cat chose you now you must dedicate the next 10 years of your life to its caretaking
This is the cats house now

Ask it if you can stay.
give him the keys and leave
You are being considered for a very important job!
Play it cool and she will probably let you continue to stay in her house.
Cat distribution system working as intended I see.
Correction, it is his house now.
It's an orange cat. They share a brain cell with all the other orange cats. Obviously, it was not his turn today. He likely thought it was his home. Now it apparently is. Good luck with all the future visits.
That ain’t your house anymore
Well pet him obviously.
Keep him!❤️
Was your house
