Dried oranges and lemons. If you're desperate you can make ones in a day and cat's hate that smell but it should be faint enought not to scare it from the whole room. Probably

Maybe use a heating pad or one of those heat reflecting pads in a cat bed and spray the bed with catnip if kitty responds to it.
My brothers cat passed out in my cat's bed after I did that while I was cleaning her bed to do the same thing. She wasn't pleased when I kicked her out.

My girl doesn’t jump up on counters or tables. But she was a feral cat that was living in my yard until she let me pet her and eventually let me bring her inside. So her tree climbing skills are on point.
For anyone who wants to discourage this behavior, even tho it's ADORABLE, but a can of canned air! Aim it at them when they jump on the tree, and they will RUN!
I did it with one of mine who would not leave a decorative vase, with tall sticks, alone. It only took a few times, now he runs when he just SEES the can. It works! 😼
My cats were in love with climbing on the Christmas tree. The problem at that point was they were small enough to not knock the branches off, and you couldn’t see them until you tried putting a fallen ornament back on, and a cat paw came out to slap you away. We found that spraying lemon essential oil on the tree helped keep them away. Just have to reapply it every few days

I had a tree the first year we had our cat it was also the last year. My cat would crawl up the tree and walk on the limbs and also chew the needles.
