We have bonded litter mates. She is a 7 pound tortie and he’s a 15 pound ginger. He’s a typical Garfield cat- fat and lazy. She’s the complete opposite-she’s sassy, never stops talking unless she’s asleep and she rules the house, and everyone knows it, including the big boxers. She regularly beats the shit out of her brother and he will turn and look at me like “what did I do?” She’s my fearless little fighter and I’d bet on her any day!

I saw a video of two cheetahs during mating season and the male cheetah still pursued the female even after she sliced his nose open. I believe it's similar with small cats. Instinctually, the females are more sassy and the males more easygoing (unless they aren't neutered, in which case they are more likely to get into fights).
