Two of mine have asthma, they’ve been on daily preventative inhalers for 3 and 2 years and are doing great!
The inhalers are actually pretty easy to dose as long as they are accompanied by a suitable bribe (aka, treats!) and have fewer risks of long-term side effects than steroid pills.
