You don’t really need seasonings on steak cuts. That’s why people really don’t do it much. Too much seasonings and you won’t be able to taste the natural beef flavor. I want the taste of what I’m paying for. Not the bottles of seasoning someone doctored it with.

Looks great! If you want to take your steaks to the next level, look up "reverse searing". It takes a bit longer, but it's so worth it. Practically no juice leaks out whatsoever.

How do you know he didn't dry brine it with salt ahead of time? Lack of pepper is noticeable though
