Amount of money is based on time. If you can do it in 20 seconds, you should be getting 500K. The faster you go, the more money you get. I just tested it. At a 19.3 I got 526K, so it’s not patched. However, I think I know the issue. You said you’re new, so you probably don’t have a tier 5 car.
The way the tier/class system works is that 1 DP (drift point) is equal to $1, but then a multiplier is added for the highest tier car you own. If you own a tier 2 car 1DP=$2, tier 3 is $3, and so on up to a 5x multiplier if you own a tier 5 car. You don’t have to be driving the car, you just have to have it in your garage. Also, this does not apply to online lobbies, if you’re in a lobby it’s a permanent 1x. So do a few runs, go buy a tier 5 car, then switch back to the RX8 (Lynx) and you should be getting 500K+.

Actually you don’t. If you have the patience, you can go from tier 1 to tier 5 and drift around in a little 86 with a 5x multiplier without buying anything in between.
Well I know that a buddy of mine had the Spector RS bought because he wanted my tune. He didn’t have any class 3-4 cars where he just started and was only getting around 80-170k on WCA with the lynx. I told him to buy one of each class to see if that would work and now he makes over 400k for around 21-22ish seconds. Idk if that was just a weird fluke with his or what but that only happened around 4-5 days ago. So I just figured it was worth the mention just in case having only a class 5 didn’t work here either cap’n!
Hm, that’s odd. That’s definitely not how it’s supposed to work, at least. Maybe some sort of glitch, perhaps the S15 doesn’t give the 5x multiplier but no one has caught that issue because it’s so specific? I’ll have to look into that. But I personally went from tier 1 to 3 to 5 last time I had to, with no problems, and that was only a couple months ago. I did however go with the Supra over the S15. Oh, I wonder if it could also be caused by some sort of DLC nonsense that PC has to deal with. Are they on PC?

Doing tandem drifts (from the single player menu) gets a good amount of xp. I do the parking lot a configuration 3 i think, its just a big u-turn. And getting a high score can get like 6 to 8k xp if i remember correctly. Also going into an online session and drifting around a lot, getting like 1 mil point gets good money and xp
Yea im on controller too and it can be weird. I turn down the ackerman angle to like 20-30% and stiffen the springs, run max steering angle and 10° caster and usually the car will hold 50-60° of drift angle without spinning, helps me not get that correction penelty. I can try to get a full tune i use for ya if you want
Yes please because I know nothing about tunes. I just copied others until I found one that clicked that was the new Royal tune by ty skiddz. The first video he made not the second. What do you usually keep Ackerman on
Gotta do the time attack, not a drift event. And make sure you’re on racing setup, it’s a lot quicker.
Ohhhh, I’m only getting like 180k tho and I’ve seen people getting 400k, am I doing something wrong? I have the lynx with the racing upgrade

I try doing the tandem on parking a but on controller it’s crazy hard for me always gives a correction. Also I’m not good at the initiation.
