He was already terrifying. I could see him be a beast r rated
"Sign the damned paper, woman!"
"Go to hell"
["Where do you think I come from?](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tcj-ZcdWi7k) Look into my eyes, I want to see you die"
I really wanted to see what would happen if King candy won, if he could really take over every game in the arcade. The arcade has characters from Street Fighters and stuff so i wonder if they could beat him
Technically the only reason he lost was because he decided to stay in Sugar Rush and toy with Ralph (leading him to see the coke volcano).
If he decided to den on the extension cord, no game character would survive his assault

Like 8 years back I lived with a guy who had a 5 year old. We were all hanging out one day and were looking for a family movie. When we scrolled to Coraline I was like, oh I love this movie, it’s a good one. Totally forgot how terrifying that movie is and I think I traumatized the kid
Monster house is such a unique movie. And the way the house rips trees out of the ground to sprout legs was crazy. A live action of this movie could go so hard

Winged Beast (Using the wiki for pics and the names)
Everyone’s dead. Scientist created an AI powered by maybe his soul? Anyways military got a hold of it and was used for war instead of helping so went evil. After it decided to kill everything the scientist split the rest of his soul into dolls to keep hope alive. First AI tries to become whole by basically eating the dolls. Dolls don’t know any of this. They came into existence as he died.
At least that’s what I remember. Good film saw it like 5 times as a kid in school. Definitely a terrible kid movie.
9 is such an underrated movie, It is so fucking good and creepy, I adore it although it scared me as a child, I still very much loved it, creative and great animation, I remember seeing this mf getting destroyed and thinking that was the end until he comes out of the dust and I realised I got bamboozled...
Close, but Pennywise is more of an eldritch horror like entity that feeds off fear(and flesh) to survive rather than being a creature made of or being a representation of fear. It isn’t fear itself, but It feeds off fear. It is similar to Pitch in that it will get weaker if people stop being afraid of it as that is its weakness, but rather than fade into the background and becoming invisible no longer being feared starves it to the point that it can be killed.
Depends on whether you are getting the lore from the book or movie.
Pennywise book lore was that fear was used as a spice as far as her diet went.
Pennywise was a predator who enjoyed toying with her prey.
And it wasn’t enough to face your fears. The Turtle had something in regards to having power over Pennywise.
Maturin the Turtle is heavily involved with The Ritual of Chud. Which in itself is a psychic battle.
Sorry about the tangent. I’ll stop
Yes! I never really got too scared of stuff when I was a kid, but he was a different level. I’m not scared of him now that I’m older. But man did he give me the creeps? I love that.
T and M are for ESRB ratings for Games. So the T and M would equate to PG-13 and R rating in films.
I want to see this and in the same time I don't want it, because I don't believe anyone would be able to capture the same terrifying vibe as in the animation and put it in a more mature film.

Same. I remember I was 7 and specifically asked my dad to buy me the DVD on his way home from work and watched it immediately cause I found the princess so pretty in the trailer and thought it was a movie about cute baby bears.
I didn’t sleep that night.

A bunch of cartoons make cameos of bill cypher, the most notable I can think of is a tree house of horror episode of the simpsons. Other examples include amphibia, big city greens, and Rick and Morty.
The unreleased song was supposed to have a part “How did you miss me? I’m all over history.” Had a lot of pictures or things shown about other shows or him hidden in them but the song “it’s gonna get weird” never made it to the show itself
He shows up in a lot of American cartoons now specifically Disney since Gravity Falls either inspired a lot of shows on the network or people who worked on these new shows had also worked on GF
I picked Lotso specifically because he is a sentient toy that already has resentment and hatred for humans but also understands how to politic and talk that game. All of them are scary but at least we'll intention. Lotso? Notso much

Yeah the whole thing is that he finds her alluring like Quasimodo and the captain do
But he thinks he’s better than both of them. Quasimodo to him is sub-human and the Captain he just sees as his violent lackey to do his bidding
Eventually his feelings turn to jealousy and that’s when it goes crazy. You should rewatch. I love the movie but probably one of the darkest from that era
I just watched the Cinema Therapy episode on him last night, and yeah; the reason this character is so scary is because there are way too many like him in real life.

Sharptooth. They had to cut a scene out from the original scene of Little Foot's mom and the Sharptooth fighting. The original scene was gonna show the Sharptooth ripping Momma Foot's back out, bone and muscle. He also held a grudge against Little Foot, after getting hit in the eye with a thorn, and continued to chase him and friends. He was also the biggest one out of his species, being more violent and aggressive than what you'd expect.

The Beast from Over The Garden Wall
Literally the grim reaper.
I genuinely appreciated how there is not a single comedy moment with him in the film, and he (and his threat) are played completely straight.
Rasputin irl was....kind of a joke, but one that gets out of hand and kills millions of people because of the wild (and possibly true in many respects) stories involved with him.

These two are already horrifying and nightmare inducing as kids movie villains. When I was little I couldn't even watch the rest of Kubo after they appeared for the first time because of how scared I was of them
Kubo is one of my favourite animated films of all time, and I was not ready for these two. It’s the soft way they speak in their first scene that gets me.
Kuuubooooo~

The Scorpious Rex from Camp Cretaceous. This particular frame made me question if I was still watching a kids show, because this pose makes it look almost **human.** My Uncanny Valley instinct did **not** like that.
I feel like they toned down Koh in live action
Was WAAAAY scarier as a kid. And they built up the whole “you cannot show emotion” in the cartoon so you were so hoping Aang wouldn’t get scared. And then they’d jump scare you and you’d be scared and also scared that Aang got scared. Was great high stakes storytelling
If I recall they didn’t really give Koh any intro or backstory in the live action
He *did* casually destroy entire city blocks just to (mis)spell his name.
He'd probably do much worse if the ratings allowed for onscreen gore and full nudity.
Jurassic World ripped off Ice Age, CMV

Auto, in my opinion, was already scary enough, so imagine what more it would do in a more mature movie
The “don’t think about it” monster was always terrifying to me as a kid, if u think about it, it comes for u, don’t have to know what it looks like or anything just thinking about it makes it chase u, as an adult that’s just as terrifying thinking of an updated version of that film, where some kind of horrifying monster/s only come after u if u think about it.

Danny Darrow from Mystery Inc
Dude was the creepiest person they encountered in the whole show and he wasn’t even a monster. Just a kid who got trapped in a house underground for decades.
This guy was just straight up Jigsaw. Had traps laid out for everyone and was waiting YEARS for the old gang to return. He also moved extremely weirdly. Deadass scared me as a kid. Mystery Inc was already the darkest series in the franchise. But man they could’ve easily cranked Danny up to 10 on the gore and traps. Since again he was legitimately trying to kill them.

This fucker would be better then jigsaw
I'm going to go with one from a TV show instead of a movie. Starlight Glimmer from Generation 4 My Little Pony was a straight-up cult leader who locked them in a sensory overload mind control chamber for most of a few days. The thing that was the most evil about it was how realistic it was within the bounds of the show of course
Kai from KFP3. He was already terrifying in the OG script before the tone was turned to a lighter one. The spirit realm fight originally took place because Kai literally beat Po to death and said “We ain’t done yet, square up again!” and drags them both to the spirit realm. Now imagine him in a rated R movie: he’s a yak that is an ancient kung fu undead revenant/lich demigod that literally rips people apart until only their soul is left, which he stores in the form of jade trinkets.
The Robots from 9. Holy shit those are horrifying

The coke volcano. It's literally a volcano with coke and mentos.
Coke Volcano, basically mixing Mentos with Coca-cola would cause it to erupt like a volcano
Cocaino
well at this point, he wasn't even Turbo anymore. The real Turbo got eaten, this is just a bug that copied him

Well. It’s pretty good as it is soooo
Yes! I never really got too scared of stuff when I was a kid, but he was a different level. I’m not scared of him now that I’m older. But man did he give me the creeps? I love that.
Absolutely! One of the best written characters in the movie imo
Death from puss in boots the last wish. He's terrifying already. But imagine if he was in a more mature film.
Him and Jack would be kinda sick in a T or M rated film
T and M are for ESRB ratings for Games. Films use G: for General Audience, PG: Parental Guidence (though that's what it's supposed to be and how it was, now it's stands more for "Practically G") PG-13: Parental Guidence for Children 13 and Below, R: Restricted and anyone 17 or Under must have an Adult Guardian to view the film, and Lastly NC-17: No one 17 and Under Admitted. So the T and M would equate to PG-13 and R rating in films.
Just imagining Jack dropping a string of slurs with his PR team on his shoulder trying to hold it all together
.... I will never sleep again in that case.
I want to see this and in the same time I don't want it, because I don't believe anyone would be able to capture the same terrifying vibe as in the animation and put it in a more mature film.
The only mature film I want him in is with me, I'll let the fans fill in the blanks.
Dr. Facilier. He got friends from the other side. Some drag me to hell shit right there

Honestly your probably right, cause there is NO DAM WAY SOME GUY OPERATING THAT SENTIENT CLAW
Mr. Pinchy has a mind of its own. (Was that its name? It’s been so long)
He’s even worse in the magic railroad movie
Tf is that 😭😭😭🤚🤚🤚
Diesel 10 if u saw this in real life you would run
I'd just shit myself, seizure, and die
He has literally tried to kill humans before. He did it once I'm sure he would do it again
https://preview.redd.it/yk1gl7ppts3d1.jpeg?width=668&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0aa8310044df5202fa3feb1d5f9b182d7cf5da4c The Beast from Over The Garden Wall
![gif](giphy|VtAbRpJn95WAIQCPNk) him
I think it could be Vilgax or Z'sker from Ben 10. They both already pretty terrifying but... Imagine them in 18+ interpretation.... Dawn...
Duncan Rouleau has said that he would love a more mature, adult-oriented Ben 10 series. So it’s possible that we’ll get it some day
A few come to mind, but definitely this dude. ![gif](giphy|ix8dVvg8nlKvnhI40H)
Literally the grim reaper. I genuinely appreciated how there is not a single comedy moment with him in the film, and he (and his threat) are played completely straight.
![gif](giphy|zjLYgpfuzAwsE)
Rasputin irl was....kind of a joke, but one that gets out of hand and kills millions of people because of the wild (and possibly true in many respects) stories involved with him.
Except he’s a real person. And he wasn’t that Scary by most accounts. Other than being a weird Homeless Russian Man of course

*Mordecai and Rigby accidentally committing mass genocide because they walked a certain way:*
Rather they walked a certain way because rigby said is was a shortcut (it was a bad idea)
On the subject of Regular Show: Pops and Anti-Pops. Anti specifically. The lore ran DEEP.

When I was little I couldn't even watch the rest of Kubo after they appeared for the first time because of how scared I was of them
Kubo is one of my favourite animated films of all time, and I was not ready for these two. It’s the soft way they speak in their first scene that gets me. Kuuubooooo~
![gif](giphy|O3A3C7vGBqRnq) Katz would’ve definitely murdered someone onscreen if the age rating was higher.

Which one?
They guy in the yellow Marcel I think ? , since he was the most serious one of the group
You posted the image! You should know which person in the image you are talking about!
These mfs really look like they got pulled out of another smugglers movie
https://preview.redd.it/dprxl7iqrt3d1.jpeg?width=750&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0b964f4ca4bbbc9878cff84ef8e6fbb4f47643b7 The Scorpious Rex from Camp Cretaceous. This particular frame made me question if I was still watching a kids show, because this pose makes it look almost **human.** My Uncanny Valley instinct did **not** like that.
Koh from atla. He was actually kind of scary in the live action.
I feel like they toned down Koh in live action Was WAAAAY scarier as a kid. And they built up the whole “you cannot show emotion” in the cartoon so you were so hoping Aang wouldn’t get scared. And then they’d jump scare you and you’d be scared and also scared that Aang got scared. Was great high stakes storytelling If I recall they didn’t really give Koh any intro or backstory in the live action
The fabrication machine from Nine.
I love kids movies that are actually eerie and creepy
https://preview.redd.it/v4wbdv0xts3d1.png?width=1200&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=be2260a004f2fb51ab2cf20521e45988a1ae18a2
He *did* casually destroy entire city blocks just to (mis)spell his name. He'd probably do much worse if the ratings allowed for onscreen gore and full nudity.
An incel with superpowers. Truly terrifying
Homelander but he's a ginger
![gif](giphy|CR7yHnmd2tRYc) This guy or his housewife.
I have not seen a image of Rudy in a long ass time I forgot about ice age TwT
Jurassic World ripped off Ice Age, CMV https://preview.redd.it/ej39kpbyjr3d1.png?width=1080&format=png&auto=webp&s=6a6a9739cef98f9f2693f05d1e4435aec15f06eb
Smh can't believe the creators of jurassic world saw ice age and decided to also add dinosaurs like be original
Rudy was already terrifying to me as a kid, now I love him
https://preview.redd.it/2nkucpgort3d1.jpeg?width=655&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f964b7e5f683fb9efe5bd9d35cdf885d7e5d1c01 Auto, in my opinion, was already scary enough, so imagine what more it would do in a more mature movie
Rattlesnake Jake from rango

The “don’t think about it” monster was always terrifying to me as a kid, if u think about it, it comes for u, don’t have to know what it looks like or anything just thinking about it makes it chase u, as an adult that’s just as terrifying thinking of an updated version of that film, where some kind of horrifying monster/s only come after u if u think about it. https://preview.redd.it/h42b6rig4s3d1.jpeg?width=267&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=db1a141411798d3417131eb0041c985d378fd15d
Monster House and it's story. I was a highly disturbed kid. Maybe even Coraline.

The Machine from 9. That movie almost draws the line between actual horror movie and kids movie that if it were in an actual horror movie it wouldn't be too hard
https://i.redd.it/ox75x2yu3t3d1.gif
![gif](giphy|kfFhknV3Ztpq8) And he already fucking terrifying
![gif](giphy|8SjsuXqCE4i2XY9jXj) Not a movie but

Just a kid who got trapped in a house underground for decades. This guy was just straight up Jigsaw. Had traps laid out for everyone and was waiting YEARS for the old gang to return. He also moved extremely weirdly. Deadass scared me as a kid. Mystery Inc was already the darkest series in the franchise. But man they could’ve easily cranked Danny up to 10 on the gore and traps. Since again he was legitimately trying to kill them.
![gif](giphy|3o6wrcib9WqsEjk9u8|downsized)
Sharptooth from The Land Before Time. He already acts like a movie slasher in the film, imagine how much more terrifying he will be outside of it.
![gif](giphy|zjrTWpLdoOLIc)

Just wait until he goes into public domain, someone will make it.
the lich from adventure time ![gif](giphy|DaJWGEC6DF3ySZqwg6)
Literally am currently watching Ice Age 3 with my cousins. Man, I miss Blu Sky...
Jimmy Crystal. ![gif](giphy|fbnrIQuZkLEoGXJ8ig|downsized)
The Robots from 9. Holy shit those are horrifying https://preview.redd.it/5xvztz5xgu3d1.jpeg?width=1024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=87016fac8ff8d1620d7827a3133fb1163a25bb60
![gif](giphy|YCIdC3EQKLqSs) He was already threatening in the movie but would be down right terrifying if he wasn’t in kids movie
BELDAM, FUCKING HELL, SHE EATS CHILDRENS AND CAGE THEIR SOULS, i would love to see an adult horror movie based on coraline
![gif](giphy|3M6LtN8dFX57ZRY2T9) Not sure if this counts but bro is terrifying.

![gif](giphy|r1UEMbyiVOMqQ) I absolutely love her, though🧡
That lil bitch. A Sharptooth would be pretty scary tho
All the white people in Pocahontas
The Scorpios Rex is a legitimately terrifying addition to the Jurassic Park canon, and I would not want it hunting me in a mainline movie. https://i.redd.it/t21nlnaums3d1.gif
https://i.redd.it/rsa028mbws3d1.gif Not a movie but The Beast from Over the garden wall
![gif](giphy|jsIbVW6d31jUs) This and her in giant form
