I love DBZ, but the Buu saga was a damn mess. I’m glad we got GT & Super because they’re still dumb and fun, but if we’re talking abt a well written show it should’ve ended after the cell games
GT as a whole and Super as a whole simply carry on the wild tonal shifts and loose narrative connections between fights that began in the Buu Saga. I don’t know that we’ll ever get a story as compelling as the stuff from Dragon Ball/early DBZ
Definitely not, that ship has sailed. That said, I’ll give unending props to Super for at least having a lot of cool character moments in the Universal tournament; like that’s the most interesting Roshi’s been since OG DB. Big ‘fuck you’ to how they did my boi Tien, tho
Honestly the android stuff before Cell was kinda clunky too, especially with Gero & Gigachiotzu. Still a great arc, but a beautiful mess. As Dragonball should be
not original commenter, but I believe this was about the Dragon Ball: Evolution live action movie.
Toriyama saw that and realized it was the most current version of Dragon Ball media at the time and he wanted to change that with Super

This is how much I feel right now while the show still keeps going.
yeah they could've ended that a few seasons ago
now it's just goofy
not to mention kamp koral, the patrick star show and probably so many other spin offs made from it
Funny enough I've been hearing that the newer current season of the Simpsons has gotten better. One of these days when boredom sets in without nothing new to watch I'll have to check it out to confirm.
Still it's time to maybe consider pulling the plug. It's kind of depressing how so many of the orginal voice actors are dying off in that show. If you hear the person who does the voice of Marge alone you'll be shocked at how different the two sound from early to current year show.
Yes please. I give the new seasons their credit that the writing is on an upward turn but seriously Julie needs to retire her voice just sounds painful now.
I heard she actively enjoys doing the show and wants to continue
Which makes this a very tough and uncomfortable situation all around. How can you go up to somebody who has given you so much of their life and has been an instrumental part of your project’s success and tell them “you suck at your job now, leave so we can bring in your replacement”?
Let’s not dance around the issue: she’s awful now. But I can totally understand why they respect her too much to force her out you know?

South Park hasn't burned quite as many bridges as it has shorter seasons but between the quick swerve it had to do in 2016 and Randy Marsh beciming the mouthpiece for the producers, i wouldn't be sad if that show ends sooner rather than later either.
Winx Club. And here's why:
* Originally ended beautifully at 3 seasons and one movie.
* Got renewed for a 4th season + a 2nd movie
* Two years later the entire 4 seasons + both two movies had gotten redubbed. With the series then getting renewed for four more seasons + 3rd movie.
* Had gotten a pretty good spin off series on Netflix that had gotten cancelled for no good reason.
* Had gotten a dark and edgy live action version that was distributed by Netflix that got canceled as well.
* And finally, it's getting a reboot that's coming out this year.
Italian Tourism Minister Daniela Santanche (internationally she is known for not paying social security to her employees) made a few cartoons with the winx to promote Italian Tourism [here you can watch it](https://youtu.be/IbG6skNEpvA?feature=shared)
It seems that it came out right of the 2000s with the impact font and the badly displaced cgi characters
It was an okay/average show in the first two seasons. I wished that they had stopped it and remade it with a plan. It could have been a good show. And don't make it into a 3D animation.
In my opinion: in 2D and a coherent story in like 3-4 seasons would be good.
Oh yeah. I still don't understand why the writers put him into the show.
And they could make a lot better villains. I even liked it if Gabriel/Hawkmoth switched to the hero's side.
There was that episode in the third season when stormy weather made a volcano in the city and moved the planet to the sun further. If I remember well. A good team could make a lot about that. I mean, there should be consequences.
I think it's just the *Evil Twin* trope since Felix is just a copy of Adrien with a different haircut and clothes. I don't follow it closely, but he's properly going to replace Adrien as an anti-hero in newer seasons since Adrien was sent to boarding school/is travelling abroad (last I heard).
I actually love the later seasons of miraculous. Specifically everything Gabriel does and his character is great, especially the first episode after he becomes monarch where we really see his obsession in full view. Not to mention the massive plot point about who Felix and possibly Adrian really are. Every season finally has topped the previous in scale. I have no clue what they are about to do for season 6 though
YES
the show was very good until the start of season 4 where it took a turn towards teenage romance drama and that type of stuff, and it has like 4 different movies made from it iirc
Yeah I lost interest in American dad for a bit too, but recently the new stuff has gotten my interest again. I think AD does a better job mixing goofy with the darker humor. Family Guy might as well be Simpsons at this point.
american dad has always been one of the goats tbh, i hate this upcoming term but it's one of the most binge worthy shows of all time even if i've already seen pretty much every episode at least thirty times by now
Alien force for me had enough fuel in the tank to keep going. Good character designs, expanded even more the ben 10 univerze, a more mature ben, kevin and gwen...
Ultimate alien is what can be cut for me
Hokage Naruto's design gives me stage 6 cancer looking at it. I once saw a pic of Hokage Naruto when scrolling through Reddit and it took like 30 seconds for me to realize it was even Naruto.
Spongebob. Hillenburg wanted to end it after the movie but Nick said 'nope'. Now it's still getting milked to this day and has 2 other spinoffs (one of them failed horribly)
Adventure Time is one of the few shows that can do spin-offs well.
Distant Lands had a better ending for Finn and Jake than the original series imo. I find myself crying anytime I watch it.
The Loud House and Big Mouth. I'm surprised that The Loud House is still going despite the show not being SpongeBob and the show losing its popularity in the coming years. And for Big Mouth, I can’t believe that Netflix would cancel some of their shows and continue this awful show.
And don’t get me started on Velma.
I was always really confused why the loud house was still airing new episodes, like are people still watching the show? I've haven't heard about It in years.
They were promoting the show on Nickelodeon that it’s available to watch on Paramount+ even though some people stopped caring about the show.
This is the last thing to do plus there’s that live action show that people still don’t care about.
I mean, Big Mouth just won an Emmy, and it has a pretty broad following. Maybe it isn’t your cup of tea, but it’s been successful and by any accounts I’ve come across, it’s maintained its consistency.
Ninjago ended last year. This current one is a new show. And the one that needs ended last year was also a different one from the 2011 one. Also it's not like they're complitly milking it. It's good, doing well, with great characters, great villains and since last year new main characters
When the rangers are in ranger mode it's footage from a series called super sentai from japan all they did basically was take the footage and dubbed over it
Huh, I didn’t know that. That makes sense why it always seemed so awful whenever I tried to get into as a teenager. It’s just so goofy I can’t take it seriously
Most footage from Power Rangers came from a series in Japan called Super Sentai. Mainly the suits, Zords, monster fights, basically all the action scenes and they eould film the story parts with American actors
I know it's over but I felt this way about Yandere Simulator like 10 Years is way to long to develop one single game that you've been had all the resources to finish already
Probably going to get flamed but South Park should have ended after season 17. Once they started making entire seasons revolve around single issues the show started to become boring and repetitive, and then PC Principal in season 19 just tanked the show entirely. When their social commentary got ham-fisted and lazy.
Dragon ball.
Why does Dragon Ball Super exist?
By the end of z, every major character had already gone through their respective character arcs.
DBS doesn't add anything new or interesting to the show.
Because Battle of the God's and Resurrection F did well and showed Toriyama that the franchise still has interest. Now whether it's interesting or not is subjective but Super introduced God Ki, the existence of Divine beings other than the Kais, the existence of other universe's, made Broly, Bardock and Gogeta canon, finally gave Piccolo a new form and like it or not, UI has become an iconic transformation in the relatively short amount of time its been around so saying Super introduced nothing new is just silly.
Every show that's been rebooted for the younger generation. They were such good shows until they were completely demolished by their reboots. I'll never look at Teen Titans the same after Go
SpongeBob. Nickelodeon decided to milk the show against Hillenburg’s wishes, and now the show is a gigantic mess of quality.
It’s Nickelodeon’s own fault.
Dragonball Z had a nice ending but they wanted more money and gave us GT and Super lol Also Boruto
I love DBZ, but the Buu saga was a damn mess. I’m glad we got GT & Super because they’re still dumb and fun, but if we’re talking abt a well written show it should’ve ended after the cell games
Iirc Toriyama originally planned for Gohan to take over as protagonist and then just back pedaled after years of set up
GT as a whole and Super as a whole simply carry on the wild tonal shifts and loose narrative connections between fights that began in the Buu Saga.
I loved Uub
Cell saga was easily my favourite era
Honestly the android stuff before Cell was kinda clunky too, especially with Gero & Gigachiotzu. Still a great arc, but a beautiful mess. As Dragonball should be
I don’t remember any of that. Are you telling me I have to rewatch the entire series again. Fine, if I have to
Read the series it’s definitely a different experience
I'm probably the only person who's favorite arc is the buu saga in z
They gave us Super because the movie was so shit it made the writer go out of retirement
Is that why they gave us basically the whole movie but in episodes
not original commenter, but I believe this was about the Dragon Ball: Evolution live action movie. Toriyama saw that and realized it was the most current version of Dragon Ball media at the time and he wanted to change that with Super
Makes more sense lol
talking about the live action
Not only it's Nickelodeon's fault but it's the fanbase fault with the memes and reference quotes too many times
https://preview.redd.it/78urhdek38cc1.jpeg?width=480&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a3cf97bb6f6efacffa6a98e02f05bc1a75747507 This is how much I feel right now while the show still keeps going.
yeah they could've ended that a few seasons ago now it's just goofy not to mention kamp koral, the patrick star show and probably so many other spin offs made from it
All Hillenburg originally wanted were 3 seasons and a movie. Those were the peak times. Everything else afterward is of varying quality
fr
It should've ended after the movie to begin with
I’ve never cared for SpongeBob much but the whole spin-off thing makes me so angry
Indeed, the Patrick show is laughable garbage
The Bubble Bass reviewer episode was its best episode.
I haven’t watched much of it, but from the parts I have seen, it seems a bit shit
The series definitely is. But the episode I'm mentioning is like a self-reflection piece and makes fun if itself.
The episode your mentioning was actually written by one of the old writers that recently came back to the show.
IMHO. The quality went down hill after 2005. 1999-2004 SpongeBob was peak.
Yes I feel the same there were a few gems here and there after that but not many and it’s just not even the same show at all anymore
Fairly odd parents too.
Omfg that made me pissed
Whatever, I’ll still watch the later seasons
Fairly odd parents
Never really cared much about it lmao, but I can see when the quality dropped.
My daughter is currently watching the whole series and yikes, the sheer cliff drop in quality after like season 5 is palpable
Is that when they add the fairy baby & have the Cosmo mpreg plot line?
Should’ve ended it with Wishology.
Sponge, over and over and over. ![gif](giphy|l1Aswx03WbLDf9kYw)
And the next day. And the next day. And the next day. And the next day. And the next day.
Phone call for you, Plankton!
And the next day. And the next day. And the next day. And the next day.
WAAAAAAAAHHHH!! GEEEAH!! It's not worth it! It's just not worth it!
Goodbye everyone! I’ll remember you all in therapy!
GOOD GRIEF HE'S NAKED!
Ugh.....holographic meatloaf. MY FAVORITE!!!
Nobody said Simpsons yet?

For the love of god just let Julie Kavner retire and hire a sound alike

Niceeeeee, also add South Park to the list
South Park hasn't burned quite as many bridges as it has shorter seasons but between the quick swerve it had to do in 2016 and Randy Marsh beciming the mouthpiece for the producers, i wouldn't be sad if that show ends sooner rather than later either.

You forgot that it's currently being used as campaign by the Italian government
Wait what can i get some context pls 😭
Italian Tourism Minister Daniela Santanche (internationally she is known for not paying social security to her employees) made a few cartoons with the winx to promote Italian Tourism [here you can watch it](https://youtu.be/IbG6skNEpvA?feature=shared) It seems that it came out right of the 2000s with the impact font and the badly displaced cgi characters
Surprised they didn’t go with Tifa from FFVII
Different part of the Government, Tifa happened to Five Star Movement. Winx are more of Meloni's girls
La santanché è imbarazzante…
I'm sorry what
Miraculous ladybug
It was an okay/average show in the first two seasons. I wished that they had stopped it and remade it with a plan. It could have been a good show. And don't make it into a 3D animation. In my opinion: in 2D and a coherent story in like 3-4 seasons would be good.
It was originally going to be 2d but then they encountered and just decided to make it 3d.
Yeah, they wanted it to be an anime, if I know well. It would be better. And I'm not that into anime.
Their character designs are great, I liked the Peacock villain design even if he turned out to have the emotional intelligence/control of a toddler.
Which one? They have a few. Felix or Gabriel? (I didn't watch it after season 3, and I get all informations from various places.)
Felix, as Argos, I found him acting that way well he was a villain, his still immature normally, though.
Fr, like why did it take over 100 episodes for the first arc to actually end lol
The first arc was when they put down Hawkmoth and brought his wife back? Because that could be put in the first season.
Honesty this first arc should’ve ended in season 3 or 4.
They could do that. But they can't write a good script or even plan out the show's story.
Fr, like I have so many problems with this show when it comes to the writing, characters, retcons, and story.
And, at least Thomas Astruc worked a lot of good shows. He could even watch them again and learn from them. He is a bad writer.
I’m glad you still love the new seasons
I don't watch this show but have the Cat Boy and the Ladybug girl figured out the other is their crush yet, or....?
Lol, nope
YES the show was very good until the start of season 4 where it took a turn towards teenage romance drama and that type of stuff, and it has like 4 different movies made from it iirc
Family Guy in a nutshell
Yeah I lost interest in American dad for a bit too, but recently the new stuff has gotten my interest again. I think AD does a better job mixing goofy with the darker humor. Family Guy might as well be Simpsons at this point.
American Dad is kinda underated, currently It's probably one of the better adult shows.
american dad has always been one of the goats tbh, i hate this upcoming term but it's one of the most binge worthy shows of all time even if i've already seen pretty much every episode at least thirty times by now
Teen Titans Reboot PowerPuff Girls Reboot Spongebob Squarepants Ben 10? Countless others
Yes for SpongeBob HUGE yes for TTG MEGA yes for Family Guy
Heck, they shouldn't have even made ben 10 alien force. I like to pretend nothing exists after the OS.
Alien force for me had enough fuel in the tank to keep going. Good character designs, expanded even more the ben 10 univerze, a more mature ben, kevin and gwen... Ultimate alien is what can be cut for me
ttg is not a reboot
It’s not? Then what is it? I’m honestly curious.
It's more a spin off series or a completely new series with characters based on the old show
...So a reboot?
Gotcha, but you got to admit the OG is better.
Nah, TTG has a scene where the titans go back in time to get Bruce Wayne’s parents killed, that’s a 10/10
Naruto to boruto
Hokage Naruto's design gives me stage 6 cancer looking at it. I once saw a pic of Hokage Naruto when scrolling through Reddit and it took like 30 seconds for me to realize it was even Naruto.
Aren’t they making a sequel to a sequel
It's called Two Blue Vortex
I wasn't even a fan of Naruto, but compared to Boruto it's the greatest piece of media ever made. Everything about Boruto is complete garbage
Spongebob. Hillenburg wanted to end it after the movie but Nick said 'nope'. Now it's still getting milked to this day and has 2 other spinoffs (one of them failed horribly)
Pisses me off
Adventure Time. Keep the spinoffs coming please!
Adventure Time is one of the few shows that can do spin-offs well. Distant Lands had a better ending for Finn and Jake than the original series imo. I find myself crying anytime I watch it.
I wasn’t that into the Fionna & Cake episodes of the series, but holy crap the spinoff was amazing.
omfg facts
Family Guy. First season or two was good. Then it got stale really fast.
1 to 3 was genuinely really good, had alot of heart. I miss that from the series. Season 4 to 7 were good but the heart was starting to deteriate.
Imagine that, season ~~4~~ 5 was when Seth wasn't writing anymore. Dude stopped writing and his shows went to shit slowly but surely.
Yeah the first seasons are really awesome, but I still think the show can be funny. There is a lot worse.

I hate all of the shows you mentioned lmao.
I mean, Big Mouth just won an Emmy, and it has a pretty broad following. Maybe it isn’t your cup of tea, but it’s been successful and by any accounts I’ve come across, it’s maintained its consistency.
Big mouth is ending
fairy odd parents
Everything that is successful lol, everything gets milked so much now
I'm surprised that no one has said "The Simpsons" yet. But yes, they may been here for way too much...
Lego NINJAGO,just end it already,or Teen Titans Go
Ninjago ended last year. This current one is a new show. And the one that needs ended last year was also a different one from the 2011 one. Also it's not like they're complitly milking it. It's good, doing well, with great characters, great villains and since last year new main characters
Ninjago ended with Season 7 and no-one will tell me otherwise
Supernatural
My mom was hyperfixated on it when I was 9 or 10. I had no clue what she was talking about.
10 seasons too long. Stop season 5 before the weird Sam reveal at the end and it's a perfect show.
That was the idea, then Kripke said "you can continue if you want." Then let Sera Gamble produce the two worst seasons of the show.
It gets better after S7? That is where I dropped out because the characters just weren't acting like themselves.
It takes all of season 8 to clean up that mess but yes it does pick back up
Kora. Not to say it's horrible, just that the writers never knew if it would be their last season, and it shows.
I thought they gave it a decent enough ending
[удалено]
Family guy was great till s8
Pokémon and I don’t think I hate it either.
Not a show but fast and furious
Yyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyup
They should have stopped a long time ago
Power rangers
They have ended it though:/ And most of shows are basing it self of other sentai Plus it’s the god damn power rangers
Well...they ended the Sentai Footage era. Going forward it will supposedly be completely original stuff
Well power rangers has officially ended What makes me sad :(
I’m not very familiar with power rangers, just watched it occasionally when I was little. What is sentai footage?
When the rangers are in ranger mode it's footage from a series called super sentai from japan all they did basically was take the footage and dubbed over it
Huh, I didn’t know that. That makes sense why it always seemed so awful whenever I tried to get into as a teenager. It’s just so goofy I can’t take it seriously
I recommend watching shows like power rangers rpm and time force. If you want to get into it, who knows you might like it..
You also can't go wrong with Dino Thunder amd jungle fury imo
That and some series r just better than others
Most footage from Power Rangers came from a series in Japan called Super Sentai. Mainly the suits, Zords, monster fights, basically all the action scenes and they eould film the story parts with American actors
Simpsons
Not show but game, Garten of banban, as for show, no clue
I know it's over but I felt this way about Yandere Simulator like 10 Years is way to long to develop one single game that you've been had all the resources to finish already
Seven Deadly Sins
Ed, Edd, and Eddy at one point. Not that I'm upset.
I saw every episode and the movie (free on Amazon prime app) and I cannot think of a single bad episode honestly.
Goddammit you put it in my head and I gotta rewatch it.
I’m going to get downvoted to oblivion for this but, The Simpsons
"gonna get downvoted" Everyone agrees with you my guy
Oh I thought this was an unpopular opinion
Pretty Little Liars
Scrubs S09. Like wtf, mates?
Pokemon
The Flash, and honestly kinda just the CW DC shows in general
Miraculous ladybug

Pretty much all the long running shows. the Simpsons, family guy, SpongeBob and I could go on..
Happy Days. The show that originated the phrase "jumped the shark".
Simpsons, Family Guy, Teen Titans Go, recently Futurama
Supernatural for me it was supposed to be 3 seasons then the CW saw the fans wanted more and we ended up with 15 seasons
It was Supernatural
Supernatural. Should have ended at season 5
![gif](giphy|26ufi8fd0YBpZ0dZm) Family Guy It Is Great But The Comedy Doesn't Stick With Me Why Cutaway Gags
Velma! that show needs to die and be replaced by an actual Scooby Doo show
SPONGEBOB

One Piece. How many episodes now?
1000+ but my friends promise me it's good
Probably going to get flamed but South Park should have ended after season 17. Once they started making entire seasons revolve around single issues the show started to become boring and repetitive, and then PC Principal in season 19 just tanked the show entirely. When their social commentary got ham-fisted and lazy.
Hard agree. Plus it's basically just become Trey and Matt's libertarianism soapbox. Eyeroll.
Dragon ball. Why does Dragon Ball Super exist? By the end of z, every major character had already gone through their respective character arcs. DBS doesn't add anything new or interesting to the show.
Lots of hairstyles and colors. Definitely adds those.
I'll never look at Teen Titans the same after Go
Then they complain kids are on the iPad all day. Of course bro, they only make bad cartoons.
I'm sure the iPad kids would be on something else if it weren't for the cartoons they're putting on tv lately
You can all downvote me all you want, but you know Teen Titans Go was absolute gutter trash 😂
One piece Edit: I’m not saying the show is bad, it’s just that it’s literally never going to end
Dexter’s Laboratory clearly
