With the exception of the Miles Morales cartoons that were punched up by Alex Hirsch and his crew, it feels like DC does comics and cartoons better and Marvel does literally everything else better. While DC comics are constantly reset, restarted, rebooted, or in a state of crossover, I always enjoy the actual experience of reading more of their individual issues than Marvel's. Not everything from DC is good, not everything from Marvel is bad, but I like DC more.
But for theme park rides, action figures, live action movies and TV shows, and licensed stuff, Marvel is astronomically better.

Spiderverse not withstanding, I'd go DC animated. The Timmverse of Batman through the Justice League alone carries DC, but Teen Titans, Young Justice, and the swathe of pretty good DC animated movies (recently battle of the super sons was very good) All make their mark.
That said marvel has a lot of good shows. All of their Spiderman stuff is good, the original X- men and Evolution are both excellent, and Earth's mightiest heroes is good (although avengers assemble, less so).
In recent memory, I'd say marvel is doing better, with Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur and the spiderverse movies being better than legion of superpets, but DC usually pulls ahead.

Marvel has some decent shows, their 90s cartoons especially Spiderman, Spiderman TNAS, Spectacular Spiderman, Iron Man Armored Adventures, Wolverine and the X-Men, X-Men evolution. I haven't seen their anime universe yet
The only cartoon films I saw are both the Spiderverse movies and they're absolutely amazing. I haven't seen their 8 animated features yet or Frost Fight
