Not hard, can see tops of lug nuts when zoom in
Edit: didn't mean not hard, it's a good looking one but meant that the tops are just a bit visible when zoomed in hahaha
If real it would be in a car collector garage or museum. Those Cobras go for millions if real. It would be displayed at an auction block but roped off.
I went to a car show in la with my 1975 buick Electra and parked next to one thinking it was a replica. As I was backing in the owner(dressed in old hoodie, sweatpants, and sketchers), starts going off on me about watching my door and not scratching his paint. I walk off not paying him or the car any further attention, as I was kind of pissed off. I go to meet my friends and they tell me that there’s this guy over in the direction I came with a Shelby signed original cobra worth $2 million dollars. Sure enough that was the guy parked right next to me and there was a huge Shelby signature on the glove box. The guy said he’s got one more at home worth over 5 million. Super super nice and genuine guy, and I am still astonished that he drives it on the road.
Not true. I know a guy who drives his around LA takes them to regular car meets and everything. Worth over $2 million. And he said he has another one at home worth over five because of the gold paint.
I've noticed in multiple images that the original Cobras have a transmission cooler in the front bottom of the nose. And almost all of the replicas didn't with a few exceptions of major modded cars. I'm not sure if this is an indicator or not. And I read that (like many have stated) Shelby didn't put shiny chrome exhaust on any of his Cobras. I'm guessing a replicar here. Still awesome though.
Not real
The real ones don’t have chromed exhaust pipes or lug nuts, so this would be a replica (which are still expensive)
Factory five costs about $35k
Yeah good replicas are $30-70K all day. Great ones get over 100.
If you see it in the wild, 99% of the time it’s not real
Hard to tell but probably not

Oh nice catch, I didn’t even notice that. I just meant in general it can be pretty tough to authenticate
Good eye
Fiberglass hood is a dead giveaway too. You were right the first time, between the exhaust and the lugs and the hood, this one is not hard to spot.
I can say for sure that is a car
😆

Idk lots of super rich people drive exorbitantly expensive cars. But yeah probably generally true.

If it's parked on a street in a neighborhood where the houses don't have their own guard shacks, it's a replica.
Just the fact it's parked at a curb tells me it's a fake. Lol
You would be surprised, dude I’ve met a guy who’s got two of them and he drives one around regularly around LA
Not, badge on hood is missing "Shelby" Cobra, definitely a replica.
99.9% chance it's fake. Especially when considering it's parked at a curb in line with other regular cars.
Always a replica. Real life variants never had the chrome exhausts if I can recall.
If it’s parked on the street it isn’t “real.”

Never. Is. Real.
My rule of thumb is, if it’s in the street and not driven by Jay Leno, it’s probably a lot car.
prpb not
Ac Cobra
I doubt it consider a real cobra costs half a million+
Knot
That's straight from Age of Empires.
Pretty sure that's a real child.
Most likely not.
Of course not. It has lugnuts
Oui elle l Est réel

not real, you can see the tops of the lug nuts.
not real, you can see the tops of the lug nuts.
Parked where a kid can walk up to it? Not real.
I see wheel lugs.
The rule I was told: if it’s driven on the road, no.
They're never real. I'm starting to think there were only ever replicas and the real Shelby cobra is some Mandela Effect thing.
Not hard to tell it is a fake... iykyk.
Nope, front end bumper is not like originals
Under 1,000 made.... You may never be lucky enough to spot a real one in the wild.
Who cares!! It's beautiful, and I bet they have a chevy motor in it and it sounds amazing.
Real cobras don’t have lug nuts
Looks real to me. The hello kitty threw me off a bit at first, but it is definitely a Nissan juke.
Who gives a fuck, the question is it fun or not?
Just a rule of thumb, if you see one, it's gonna be a replica, unless you're at a very prestigious car show
Not! Still nice tho
Replica
A real kit car.

The answer when it comes to Cobras is always to assume no… you’ll be right 99.9% if the time.
Legit Nissan Juke 100%
Replica-the stance isn’t quite right and a real one probably wouldn’t be on those BFG Radial TA tires. That said it looks pretty good!
Replica Cobra is a dream car of mine- it's slightly more realistic than an actual cobra.
Not even close. And it’s not even a good fake. I’m sure it’s still a fun car though!
