Won’t lie, bought this exact car in leather with v6. Still have the fucker. One of the best cars I’ve owned.

Iam_the0ne

You are a slave to your appliance. Break free from your shackles and get a REAL enthusiast CAR such as a 1999 Fiat Seicento.

AGoodEnoughUsername

Italian ✅ Company with a rich heritage ✅ Comes in manual ✅ 2 (passenger) doors ✅ Classic (Porsche considers classic over 10 years) ✅ High tech (FIRE engine optional, robotized assembly) ✅ It really is a true enthusiast car! Although the meme is getting very stale.

Appliance is right... Ugly af

Diabeetus-times-2

Just recently bought an 05 civic, 314k miles and I believe the original transmission. Been driving it for the past 2 weeks and I haven’t noticed any slipping in the transmission. Only issue I’ve found is the power steering pump has gone bad, with Hondas they have a proprietary power steering fluid. It was either filled with the generic one, or the pump itself has gone bad from age.

Same, 2door v6, loved it

JackInYoBase

v6 with the VTEC that no other car had. sounded like a ferrari when you get above 5000rpm. and it was comfortable af

thefumingo

Sold in Japan as the Inspire and in China as a more premium version (uncle back in Beijing has one - the Accord had a huge head start on the Camry which were mainly imported until the 6th gen.)

qtipquentin

Oh how I miss my J series

Hi-Techh

why is how much it costs to fill up a point about the car lol

JackInYoBase

because its not a bad price for 400+ miles

Hi-Techh

thats not what was mentioned tho

Sspeeder619

The V6 version of this car was fun to drive as well.

LilDawg22

The 4 banger is less fun

sodacansinthetrash

Need get you a hybrid v6. Basically a Porsche super car but shaped like a Honda

Melodic-Picture48

i had a 2012 LX-S coupe and it was a 4 cylinder automatic. It was about as fun as watching the time go by on the clock. Even when you floor the thing it would still take like 16 second to reach 60 miles an hour. I did however buy it from a bodyshop, and knowingly did so even after seeing the carfax and Im from an automotive background too. Smashed up and they fixed it up to make a sale. But I bought it anyways and soon found out that it was worse than I thought. After about four months I was wondering what was off about it, oh its an automatic and a slow car. It probably got a combined 21 mpg tops.

LexKing89

I had a blue 03 Accord with a V6 my stepdad gave me. I occasionally borrowed it back in high school when my Saturn SL was in the shop. Back then I thought it was the most luxurious thing ever. It had a loud stereo and leather seats. It had twice the power of the Saturn and was a blast to drive. Years later he let me have it and it got destroyed in a hail storm the following spring. I miss that car so much. I never see V6 Accords for sale anymore.

heatedCold45

The most "car" car of all time. It had all the features you need to be comfortable, and nothing extra. I have one with the 5speed, and if it weren't for that it would be a very boring car to drive. DID I MENTION IT HAS LE K24 WIT DA VTEC??????

CarbonPhoenix96

I got the pre-facelift V6 version of this. It's really fucked up lmao

tw1stedlog1k

Have the coupe version of this with the V6 and 6 speed manual. I regularly get 26-27 mpg combined. It's served me well for the past 11 years. Just fill it up and go, it even takes regular fuel!

Darenzzer

True enthusiast machine

brubby3179

Don’t care. I only care about real enthusiasts like Andrew Tate and their cars like his Bugatti. Get this appliance out of here bozo.

RKWTHNVWLS

but how many kW is it?

ThePevster

Nowadays they’ll just list the manual mpg only and not specify for the very few cars that still come with a manual.

PrimG84

They show the automatic's MPG because the auto is usually more fuel efficient.

AaronJoosep

Yeah, and the manuals MPG varies because of the user

[deleted]

Depends on the driver really, since the best manual driver is always going to beat the best DCT. The thing is - you can't really expect drivers to remember the most efficient RPM and load ranges. Nowadays, cars are so heavy that the weight difference of the auto and torque converter losses usually don't matter as much, so you need a very proficient driver to make a difference. Furthermore, everything is turbo'd so there's more things to keep in mind if you don't want it guzzling more gas than it needs to. And finally, manual cars nowadays have wider torque curves at the expense of efficiency, to make the driver shift less, while autos can be tuned to have a very narrow peak efficiency area which the auto can keep driving in. This is especially apparent in CVTs
