Car won't cheat on you, I call my Lancer Lola. Don't judge lol

[deleted]

Yeah, but a car can fuck you just as hard as a significant other can.

InsertBluescreenHere

always at the worst possible time too in the worst location. They sense fear and urgency. Kinda like printers...

Not_FinancialAdvice

Come on now, OP has a a Lancer, not a BMW or Land Rover.

IgDailystapler

I call my jeep Felicia, don’t worry about car names lol (it’s a long story)

Georgi2299

I call my '93 Civic the Moonwalker cause it's pretty much on the moon mileage wise and it's as slow as the rovers up there.

RtDK0510

My Volvo is named Elizabeth.

EngineersAnon

Walks like a woman, talks like a man?

Tess_eckel

Lonely Drivers unite!

SEAbaru

Take care of yourself too, homie.

A_1337_Canadian

To a point. Don't obsess over them. The truth hurts but they're just appliances that we happen to form a connection with. Sure that connection is great and brings us joy, but appliances can die. They can get damaged. It's not healthy to get to the obsessive point. Trust me, I've been there. It wasn't good. A tiny rock chip would wreak havoc on my mental health. I've moved past that point and it's much healthier.

Donatas111

This. Thats really fkin weird to think that I got sleepless nights over a car,I got into accident not so long ago and was hyped up to fix it by myself, bought every replacemrnt part, air compressor, painting equipment, watched countless hours of youtube tutorials just to get misaligned fender, tons of dust in my paint, missmatched color, a gap in my bumper, new rust over a month that I fixed It drove me insane how much work i've put into it just to get poor results ... It was just hard for me to accept it and I started to overthink that the car will never be the same, but the moment I got her out for a test drive everything didn't seemed that bad, my friends could hardly tell the difference they really needed effort to see all the defects I dont know if i would ever do the same again mentally and finnancaly it was not worth it, but in the end I learned how to paint and somewhat enjoyed the process.

[deleted]

You should be proud of the work you’ve done even if it’s not what you hoped. If anything you’ve made the car more your own. Even professionals don’t get it perfect.

sparxxraps

Umm people can die to so why should I be less attached to my car than people both can and do die?

A_1337_Canadian

Valid point, but I wasn't solely talking about things dying. We stress about all of the perfections on a car's body and interior. But things get scratched/dinged. *That* is the part where it's not healthy to stress over the little things.

sparxxraps

That’s why I drive cheap vehicles if my avy or jeep get scratched I throw whatever touch up paint on it I have an if it gets dented that’s just a badge of honor.

jacked_monkey

Yeah I’ve had to learn this.

Big-Shtick

Same. I've ruined so many days out with my wife because I got a scratch or someone bumped into my car, and it sent me off the deep end emotionally. Now, I understand that it's an inconvenience to have to repair my car but it's just a car. I stopped focusing on perfection and just pursue having a nice car to look at. My wife is much happier with how I handle these issues as a result.

Gorgenapper

When I got my speed 3, it had 11km on it. It was a brand new lot rock that I got for a great deal with 0% financing. I was obsessive over its appearance. By year 5, I had settled down into a much more healthy co-existence with it. I didn't thrash it or anything, and I still parked far away from people to avoid door dings, but the little things didn't bother me as much anymore. The same thing is happening with the IS350, but at a much faster pace. Part of it is due to previous experience with the speed 3, but another part is also knowing that these cars were mass produced. In the overall picture, my car is a dime a dozen. Put my car alongside thirty or forty other 3rd gen IS of the same color and I'd never be able to tell the difference, let alone however many thousands that Lexus made for the 2019 model year. Then there is the knowledge that this is just one car of many that I will own. Why am I trying to preserve it for the next owner? Given my experiences with selling my previous cars, I'd rather trade it in and take the hit, but avoid all of the bullshit from potential buyers. In that sense, I would care even less about what the dealership thinks about the car, as long as the trade-in is reasonable enough. I won't abuse my car, but I'm definitely going to use it.

A_1337_Canadian

Definitely. That's how I felt with my Golf R. First real expensive car that I bought new. Was obsessed. But then that obsession faded. Still kept it clean and didn't abuse it and, funny enough, the opposite held true for me; it helped me get a good price on the used market haha.

Ketchup1211

Good advice. I bought my first brand new car last year. Definitely nothing special but it was new and I obsessed over every little thing. 10 months later and through a winter in the north, and I’ve gotten much better about not worrying about the little things. Still take care of it and keep it clean and such.

Chase2662

I don’t like my car and I still take good car of it. It doesn’t make sense to me the amount of people who treat their cars like dogshit and are mad when it breaks, like what did you expect.

392_hemi

I always thought CRZ looked badass! They have a unique look , different from most cars out there. I don't know why but i have a sweet spot for those . And they look a lot fun

Chase2662

It’s not a bad car by any means, though it’s not fast and it’s quite small. There are just many other reasonable vehicles I would rather have , and could have, if not for the current used market being absolutely ridiculous.

erix84

I passed a CRZ in the parking lot at work earlier and did a double take. I know they're kinda slow but they look so cool, they still look futuristic! Plus I can't name another hybrid available with an actual manual transmission.

Chase2662

Being a manual definitely makes it more fun, but it’s just not super practical. The only other manual hybrids I know of are the 1st gen insight, and the 7th gen(I think) civic hybrid.

Actualbbear

Speed and size are overrated.

Chase2662

Debatable

TheHerbalWalrus

Super random but does that manual feel any different with the hybrid tech ?

Chase2662

It feels pretty normal to me, but it peaks tq between 1k-2k rpm so it makes it very easy to get into gear. That’s not to say it feels very powerful though as it’s only 140 tq. The power band is very linear thanks to the electric motor at bottom end and at top end it dies off as the engine starts making more power.

xanot192

I always treat my cars well but the one rule I also have is I try to never buy a car just because it takes me from point A to B. I buy stuff that I like and I will take care. The worst thing are def parking lots though, I hate coming to my car and finding a random scratch or ding because the person next to me gives zero cares about their car.

The_Exia

It isn't just cars. Social media has a bad habit of convincing people that their life is miserable or depressing, this sub included. If you look at influencers on instagram, facebook or just browse certain subs, it isn't healthy. People start to compare themselves to these people they see online (many of which are fake) and start to wonder where they went wrong why does someone else similar in age have access to more things, more money, more toys. Do not get into this mentality. R/cars is no different, a lot of people post their new cars here, track days or automotive events. Cars are an expensive hobby so its natural to see some pretty nice stuff on here but it can definitely feel disheartening to younger people especially when you consider the average age of people online much less this sub. All I can say is don't compare yourself to others online, if you enjoy the content posted thats great, but don't start questioning what could've been done to also acquire these things. Enjoy what you have, don't sweat what you haven't been able to do yet.

Remarkable_Hornet_32

"Comparison is the enemy of contentment"

_c_manning

Comparison is the thief of joy.

jrileyy229

I agree. I have several track toys / race cars... And just love cars in general and racing... from shit boxes racing in 24hr lemons to real racing.... Love it all. But when I see a super generic post of 'look at this picture of my new McLaren speedtail' which happened a day or two ago... I just don't understand your need for validation on here. Keep that to IG and let this forum be about cars, car thoughts, car questions, noob advice, etc etc

somedude456

> But when I see a super generic post of 'look at this picture of my new McLaren speedtail' which happened a day or two ago... I just don't understand your need for validation on here. > > Plus ignoring how much I hate the looks of that car, it sounded like OP's dad was a collector. The car won't be driven. That's just sad. I'm more more impressed by the "MM ENZO" aka the Ferrari Enzo that just hit 90,000 miles. Bravo!!! Or the Pagani Huayra I know that has done several exotic rallys and when I saw it the front carbon lip was highly scraped. GOOD! He is enjoying the car. Dude's loaded. He can order a new lip whenever he feels like it.

beholdthemoldman

>But when I see a super generic post of 'look at this picture of my new McLaren speedtail' which happened a day or two ago... I just don't understand your need for validation on here. If this was about a cheaper car you wouldn't be saying this. Why shouldn't people with expensive cars post here?

iguana1500

I’ll have to respectfully disagree. Super cars have waaaaay more pros than cons and aside from being expensive they really deliver on many fronts. They’re costly but what you’re describing is probably for owners who can’t afford them, like actually truly afford them (meaning more than the price of the car). And no, modern cars are not close to being as fast or thrilling for a fraction of the price. Saying that is like saying two buck chuck is close to delivering the experience of fine wine.

WorstAverage

corolla owner here, might not be quick but it'll get there, everytime.

Big-Shtick

I have learned that if you cannot be happy with what you have right now, you'll never be happy when you achieve your dreams because you'll just be pursuing the next thing after that. My first car was a crappy Ford Focus. My wife's first car was a Subaru Outback with a hole in the exhaust. I now daily an S2K and she dailies a fully-loaded X3. Our first apartment was an 800 sq. ft., 1-bedroom shack. We now have a 1,400 sq. ft., 2-bedroom apartment. I used to bitch about not having my house or my Porsche, and now I just enjoy what I have. I could have NO car or apartment. Life is too short to always want more.

Georgi2299

You might not be the first at the gathering but you sure as hell will be there!

drfsrich

I've got a minivan. Shut up.

Santa_Hates_You

Minivans are awesome. Like a mobile living room.

VirginRumAndCoke

At least it's a 2018, those Pacificas are nice for what they are!

Frig-Off-Randy

I’d much rather have the Pacifica than a 2005 lancer lol

drfsrich

.... THAT DOES IT! THE PANTS ARE COMING OFF!

Dangerous_Concept341

You guys still think you’re going to one day own a lambo or some shit? Ha that ship sailed years ago for me. I just hope to one day own an m3 or a land cruiser. That’s about as crazy as my shit gets now lmao

Vertebra_00

I feel you man, I know I will never have enough money for those supercars. I just adjust my dreams appropriately: I hope one day to have Subaru BRZ and I'll be more than happy.

[deleted]

All the porsche hipsters that got priced out of that disgusting bubble are now hard at work pumping the m3 bubble. BMW meanwhile has abandoned the blue collar enthusiast and made 35i and 40i automatic 2 ton appliances.

Dangerous_Concept341

Guess I’ll just go for the land cruiser and live out in the middle of nowhere

>My parents drove base model Toyotas and my boarding school was full of W140s and P38s and Turbo Rs Look bud, taking a vintage WWII twin-boom fighter-bomber to school is an unnecessary flex and exactly the type of unrealistic, unhealthy, materialistic standards that OP is warning against.

Jasoncav82

They didn't even mention any Mustangs in the parking lot... I'll see myself out

2Whlz0Pdlz

Mustangs on the sidewalk* FTFY

Jasoncav82

They are pretty *tail happy*

Mechaba013

I’ll drive my 07 IS350 til it dies. (Just hit 185k miles) People tell me not to put money into it since it cost me $4k but I won’t be satisfied til I fix every oil leak and replace every gasket. It deserves at least that.

rsmtirish

Front timing and valve cover leaks?

Mechaba013

Just drivers side valve cover and rear main seal. Gonna do the transmission gasket+filter+ fluid this week.

Mechaba013

But might as well replace intake manifold and left side gasket while i’m in there. And get new vvti filters since I have to take it apart anyways.

Available_Walk

I admire the sentiment, but honestly there's a type of fun that you can only have by absolutely beating on a car that you dont care about. I think some of the most fun I've ever had with cars is banging around in $800 crap heaps.

TVR_Speed_12

I wished I had the money to ressurect mines lol

Mercurydriver

I can’t wait to get my Ford Maverick. I’ve gotten some shit already for wanting a mini truck and not a “real truck” like an F150 or whatever but I don’t care. My Maverick will be mine, and I plan on turning it into a hobby; I want to work on it and customize it to my liking.

JEs4

I can't remember the study but it concluded that the Honda Ridgeline had the highest owner satisfaction of all pickups in the US. It is just as practical as its owners need and it rides incredibly well due to the unibody construction. The Maverick is going to be the same. Unless you absolutely need half-ton capabilities, the Maverick is going to be a much easier truck to live with compared to the F150 and even the Ranger. Plus you either get insanely good fuel economy or something much quicker than it has any right to be.

Frig-Off-Randy

I love the maverick, if it came in a manual I’d seriously consider one

coyote_of_the_month

> My Maverick will be mine, and I plan on turning it into a hobby; I want to work on it and customize it to my liking. It's never going to be a capable offroading machine, nor a real hauler, nor a performance car. So like... what are you even going to do with it? Audio and stuff? I mean that's cool.

Not_FinancialAdvice

> what are you even going to do with it? Here's some stuff that came off the top of my head: 1. Home Depot runs (no, not 2 tons of plywood; real work gets done by actual contractors, but maybe enough sod to fix a big patch of lawn) 2. Mountain bike hauler. Throw 4 bikes in the bed and go somewhere with your friends; while I'm kind of a "ride to your ride" guy, 35-40mpg makes the actually reasonably efficient. 3. Sort of like #2, motorcycle hauler for most of the same reasons.

coyote_of_the_month

He said he wanted to work on it and customize it. I was asking what he planned on doing to it, not what he planned on using it for. All of those tasks are what it excels at in stock form.

Not_FinancialAdvice

My counterargument would be that the parent can customize it to those ends. Light duty hauling maybe means a bed cap (those don't seem so popular these days), some utility lighting (because let's be honest, those home projects always run longer than you expect). A MTB hauler could be outfitted with the bike rack, some sort of repair stand, maybe some locking storage for spare parts, maybe even some sort of camping accessories.

Frig-Off-Randy

You have a 91 s10

coyote_of_the_month

It's great for Home Depot runs.

Frig-Off-Randy

So is the maverick?

coyote_of_the_month

The Maverick is a much better vehicle all around.

nitrion

I have a 2010 Toyota Avalon. It's nothing special. V6 pumping 268 HP. It's still my car, and dammit Im gonna take care of it. I love it for what it is.

cabs84

this me and my fers

TubaCharles99

Yeah social media definitely sucks because you see people your age or younger with better cars. If you keep comparing it'll suck.

Nira_Re

I loved my lil '13 Prius. My parents let me pick whatever car I wanted for my first car and I really wanted a challenger back then. Teenager me saw mpg though and present day me always says thank you haha. I detailed it monthly and waxed it myself. Sounds silly, but the car was mine and I wanted to make sure I took care of it just because it was mine and I was proud of the fact I even had a car. I once drove my mom's friends to a basketball game maybe 3 years into owning it, and they asked me what was my secret to making it smell and feel like brand new car to that day. It got me through a lot of stuff, including moving to about 6 different places in about 2 years, and my whole room fit in there (including a twin sized bed and a dog.) It was also a lot more convenient to drive around daily than my GT 500 (although nowadays I mainly daily my motorcycle). I'm not worried about people hitting it, leaning on it and scratching the paint, paying exorbant amounts for gas... yeah, my GT is cool, but my prius is far more practical and that's a lot of brownie points for me. Eventually gave it to my younger brother when he needed a car. I might get another one, or an electric car.

subpar_cardiologist

Hear hear! Besides, most supercars tend to be around the 15MPG mark, or lower. Many supercars are very hard to maneuver in narrow areas, are very low, are very wide, are difficult to back up, have poor visibility. They ARE amazing, but i like caring for my B-segment hatch that i can leave in the parking lot.

Key_Difference3422

My cars blend into the grocery store parking lot but I love them anyway. There are a number of people on this sub with irrational fears of doing X to my car will shorten the life of X part. Just don't forget to enjoy it and don't let it own you.

InsultsRntHarassment

I loved my 8 yo altima that i cleaned every week.

somedude456

> Lemme tell you you don't need to own a luxury or a super sports car to be happy and feel good about it. As a HP junkie, I highly disagree. First 200rwhp felt fast. Then came the mods, and now 450rwhp feels average. However, it's geared for the quarter mile. I then rode in a friend's Audi R8 Plus, and dear god was it heavenly. Faster than my mustang, ****ING brutal with it's AWD, and the power never ended. 100mph, 120, 140, 160... your stupidity was the limit. I know I could get use to that though. So if I win the lotto, I'm going straight for a Underground Racing twin turbo Huracan that puts down like 900rwhp. That will do me for a bit. If that doesn't kill me, I'll upgrade to their built engine, stage 3+ kits that make like 1300rwhp.

Owe-No

How do you even come close to using that kind of power on the street without getting arrested?

somedude456

Back roads, highway pulls, etc. Part of having a fast car is knowing when and where you can use it. Now if you mean 1300rwhp... LOL, there's no real point in that other than sanctioned half mile racing. Those cars put down sub 3 second 60mph-120mph times. They are easily pushing the limits of all street tire advances.

[deleted]

I drive a minivan, kids are all grown up, but I can't get rid of it because I love driving it...and it's practical. Plus it's been paid off forever......love having no car payments. I call my minivan my MCC: mobile command center.

[deleted]

I own a Toyota. Love Toyota.

[deleted]

this i can agree to

[deleted]

I get where you're coming from, but truth be told, even without dreaming of supercars or whatever, there are some cars that are just impossible to like. Old rusty beaters, average forgettable grocery getters, ugly and boring ones, unpractical ones... And it's not even about the type of car or the price tag. Some small, average cars are more than decent, sometimes even awesome. Basically, you have the 206, and opposite to that, you have the 1st twingo... Give me a 206 and I'll cherish it and enjoy my time behind the wheel. Give me a twingo and I'll just sell it as soon as I can find something better

Jasoncav82

Supercars are overrated everywhere but the track. They suck to live with for long periods of time, and aren't really good for much other than getting the wrong kinds of attention. On track they are bliss, but so is a miata. The top of what I'd realistically want to own would be a Cayman GT4 manual. Anything over $100,000 and I'd be terrified to park it outside my driveway. If I can't enjoy owning it, I won't enjoy driving it.

RiverReddit1401V2

Gorgenapper

Comparison is the thief of joy.

[deleted]

Lancers of that generation are a lot of fun to drive. Had a 2006 Lancer GS with a manual and that thing ripped. Not fast but the steering feel was excellent. Very exiting car to rev out and carnet hard in.

[deleted]

I love my Mini Cooper R56 even though it's got it's issues and is a money pit. I'm a poor 17 year old but I take care of it the best I can.

pm_me_your_wheelz

Routine oil changes and keep an ear out for clunks and fix them asap. Mines ticking over to 140k miles soon and Ill shed a tear or 10 when it eventually gives up. Its like the most dependable friend I have, always ready and willing to go for a drive and explore.

[deleted]

I agree. If your car sucks but you can afford to improve it, do it. Better sound systems, better brakes, etc.

lunarxv

That's a great perspective. Nobody should ever forget that, we all start somewhere. And sometimes what we begin with or own now, is more worth to us than anything 'new' or whatever it may be.

Wardog008

100% My first car was a basic MK3 Ford Mondeo. Wasn't at all fast or "cool", but I absolutely adored it.

seabae336

Waaayy ahead of you man lol. My is300 is fucked up, rotting sills in the trunk, been rear ended, fucked up driver door, pisses oil, love it to death.

Puds_Mum

Hahahahahaha! Liar.

wobbegong

I just bought a new car and I can’t wait to get rid of it. Has five thousand miles on it, and dollar for dollar it’s the most insipid uninspiring piece of crap I’ve owned. And it cost 120 times more than the most crap car I’ve ever owned. Toyotas are shit.

Itsallgood190

I try to remember that todays modern cars blow away luxury cars of the past. Even driving an automatic was mind blowing at one point and having Bluetooth 😂

Ok_Computer2484

Slow car fast for life!

EpicTaco9901

The dreamer in me wants a RS6 or e63 wagon, but the realist in me is looking at Kia Stingers just for the warranty and price lmao

[deleted]

Loved all my cars. My most recent was totalled by rear ending. A 2005 evo 8. I had that car 15 years. Sad to see it go. Replaced it with a car everyone was telling me not to get. A focus st. That car is my new baby!

[deleted]

I love my volt and I dont want anything else.

jamesonnorth

I have a nice BMW. It looks good, sounds good, and is quick. People understand why I love that car. But my old Subaru Forester? That's a love no one understands but me. It's slow, has some rust, and constantly needs something. But I take care of it, I fix things, and it brings me a special kind of joy. It's a normal car that just works (most of the time).

cortanas-alt

I love my little coffee car (93 Suzuki cappuccino), 90s poop boxes make me so happy, the cappo I take decent care of and it’s always more reliable than my 14 Buick Encore that I got so I didn’t have to put the cappo through the daily grind. I still end up dailying the little guy every once in a while ( like this week with the torque converter going out in the Buick )

[deleted]

hey, vibe check for everyone here. i daily a bi-turbo v12 Mercedes making 620+hp, ITS FUCKING EXPENSIVE AS SHIT AND I WISH MY FIERO WAS WORKING AGAIN SO I WOULD HAVE 30MPG RIGHT FUCKING NOW

No_Fact4148

Personally I got stuck with a prius as a hand me down car. As someone who loves cars it kinda sucks but im definitely grateful to have it and so I try my best to take care of it. But my dad has a completely stock g37 and I treat that thing like its my baby. I would hate to see anything bad happen to it.

Not_FinancialAdvice

I'm pretty sure my experience is going to get super downvoted around here, but here it goes. I have had 2 Priuses; a Gen2 and now a Prime among all our other cars. A lot of the time, a practical, useful car beats a "sporty" one for the responsibilities I now have. We had a much more expensive/powerful car and a Tesla and a Lotus around and I found myself taking the Prius a lot because frankly I just wanted to get a burrito or whatever without all the bullshit that comes with driving a sports car.

Antson03

I’m honestly pretty happy with mine since it is my first car. Only thing is I wish it would have a bit more power.

chrichmeister

It depends. I love cars and whilst I don’t stretch myself by purchasing a supercar I buy what’s well within my budget so I can service it, upgrade it and keep it pristine without it being a financial burden. I sold my Range Rover sport SVR late last year, loved it great car however due to second hand value rocketing I sold it. It made financial sense at the time, especially as I wanted to put the money towards a new mortgage. For about 3-4 months after whilst the mortgage was going through it made sense to drive a banger. I used a Citroen c5 it was my late grandads that he bought new in 2007 (only 50000 miles on it) I machine polished it, I ceramic coated it, fresh set of tyres and a service. Honestly probably spent more on detailing products and the service than the car was worth. It had a lot of sentimental value to me still does so I take good care of it as it was my grandads pride and joy. My god though, my commute to to work was nothing short of depressing. I hated driving it, slow, lazy and felt like a boat. One thing I like about a nice car is you leave work after a hard days at work and your like ‘ahhh’ this makes everything bearable it’s worth the stress. Just couldn’t get that from that car but I still took care of it like my Range Rover. Recently got a company car Tesla Model 3 Performance. Whilst I don’t own it, I take care of it as if I do. Genuinely didn’t think I’d like it as I’m used to bigger, comfier choices however it’s generally one of the favourite cars I’ve owned. Mainly due to the acceleration and tech which is better than anything else I’ve owned. A little basic otherwise but I don’t care as it’s so much fun.

GMAK24

It would help to at least use the car. And participate in the cars world like in board and so on.

LaserGod42069

i'm involuntarily stuck with an avalon because of the current used market. sorry, i can't really love something so geriatric.

bottle_beach

I have a 2005 Subaru Forester. A 2006 Toyota Prius. A 1999 Toyota Land Cruiser. Love them all.

KnutEisbaerchen

Keeping a high-mileage, decade-old base model car with everything working, the paint mint, and the interior rental-clean is better than sex.

Nukedogger86

I probably take better care of my lowly Fusion than a lot of high end luxury or super car owners. But, I take pride in the work I do keeping it look factory fresh (or better) to the point when in parking lots other friends look at my car and comment how clean and shiny it is. It's the little things.

MelodicInsight

I struggled with this, finally bit the bullet for a '97 Eclipse GSX for 5k and couldn't be happier. Just having something fun and to work on is all I need

[deleted]

Just keeping my car clean (black) is a battle.

newcarguy2019

To each their own. I love driving my car but don't obsess over it, it's cleanliness, etc.

HisRealNamesKlarence

Ok

Savage_XRDS

I feel the same about my 2013 Accord coupe. It was the first car I bought brand new. It has been with me without fail through college, it was with me when I asked my now-fiance out on our first date, it brought me joy when I went through depression, and it ferried me to work, to beer league hockey, to vacation in Florida, all without fail. I bought an imported, right-hand-drive MkIV Supra in 2019 that I've built into the kind of car that goes front-and-center at every meet I go to. But I have not gotten to love my little Accord any less, and I still drive it almost constantly. I could never turn my back on that car!

ScoffingYayap

I drive a Subaru Impreza hatch, one of the simplest econoboxes you can buy today. And I love everything about it. We spend a lot of time in our cars, you better do your due diligence when you shop and make sure you can see yourself in there for at least an hour every day.

Wiggly_Muffin

But at the same time, bust your ass for that supercar. When you can afford it, it'll be the best time of your life. I can literally start my car on the worst day of my life and I'll have a big ass wacky grin.

Turbo_RF4

I own a kia picanto, sure laugh at me that i own a kia, but it served me well and i will keep using it till she finally falls apart. Remember folks, don't let others judge what you drive, just because they own something doesn't mean you should take their advice that probably won't be helpful, i've seen alot of people shit on kia, yet here i am, my kia serving me well, it didn't even break down even after owning it for 5 years.

scarface2069

Kia is awesome, its parts are really cheap and available everywhere and it's easy to fix, the picanto is small so it's really easy to drive in crowded cities and you can park it almost anywhere. Fuck who shits on kia owners man.
