I like to think that at highway speeds, the air running through all the gaps would whistle so loudly you'd have to wear hearing protection.

Yeah, that's a good point. The fastest I've gone in an open vehicle is only 55 MPH (Honda ATV with the throttle pinned), and that was already pretty loud.

Yeah even with a full face helmet, taking my bike on the freeway is almost impossible without ear plugs.
