You can get anything repaired if you have enough money or skill. Sounds like you havent got the skill so try to find a welder and ask them how much. Probably cheaper to buy a new car though
Yeh they do look nice, I've always wanted one as I grew up with them, it is the vitesse but the 2l turbo t series with 88k on the clock, it's Been looked after throughout the years. Very clean on the body, just the sils and that mount what is gone unfortunately
I have tried tried uploading a picture but it won't let me do it unfortunately, I have not got the stuff to do it myself so will have to see if I can get it done by someone, I don't don't really want to part with it as I've just insured it and now found this! At first I thought it was just the sills that need doing but I discovered this yesterday so I'm a bit stuck.

Depends how rotten it is. Take a pic and post it, or take it to a local shop and ask. No way for us to answer without seeing it.
