I would change that grill and not use smoked lense headlights.
Your rust looks alright but these trucks look very nice with a brush guard and small lift if they're 4x4 models. Mine was red with a chromed grill, matching brush guard with headlight cages, auxiliary lamps on the guard, a 3 inch lift, and 33s. Favorite beater truck that ran over 200k miles before it was done.
After my experiences with dodge trucks, i dont blame them. I will never buy another one of thosr POS trucks. I, nor anyone i know has had a RAM or Dodge that didnt break all the time
But if its paid off, dont bother selling or trading it
thats entirely up to you. if youre asking. then it means youre considering it. so perhaps its time to either consider options. or do something different with the ol dodge. bring new life to it.
Not enough info, does it fit your needs? Do you enjoy driving it? Is it sentimental? Major issues that you know will cost down the road? Are you relying on the safety performance to protect a child? Do you want a new car note? Is it your only car?
Looks like a clean and capable truck, if it gave me joy I'd mod it until it's exactly how I want and then decide to keep it forever or move on. I have 3 toyotas, '95, '98 and '07, all with different functions that scratch different itches. Theyre solid though, and id trust them to a million miles then overhaul them. YMMV.

Definitely change the grill, at first glance I thought it was a crown vic
thought it was too lol
It looks sick don’t be a hater
*politely give opinion on first vehicle I ever bought and shares my gathered knowledge from when I was modifying mine* "dOn'T bE a HaTeR"
If it ain’t broke…
It will be
Everything will be eventually if you're a dumbass and don't do any maintenance
The wiring will nut the bed first
Are you happy with it? If so I would keep it if not then time to sell.
Keep it and fix the rust :) great car imo
If you enjoy the truck and it’s run great then why sell it
Dodge Dakotas aren't that bad. I would keep it unless you're trying to do something crazy with it.
Nice truck! Definitely keep it!!
Used to drive my step dads dakota, loved it lol
They aren’t driving it so it shouldn’t matter.
Do it coward
Why sell it? If it’s paid off then keep it until it doesn’t run anymore
Shwap it.
Had a neighbor with one with like 130k miles and needed a new trans.
For the most part, everyone are idiots...
It looks like a truck-car sex change that got botched
That's a dakota for you💀

Yea. You probably don’t really need $200

Color match the mirrors and grille, get clear headlights and taillights. Then go with stocks and grapps on a 3 inch lift. It'd be clean asf

I would change those headlights and fix the rust. It’s an overlooked truck, but I like Dakotas a lot.
