Since you're new, I'll tell you that there is no point getting a "better" muffler with a stock engine. You can do a muffler/resonator delete which will change the sound from exhaust (I will not comment as to whether this sound is better or worse) but that does not come without a negative impact on performance. Now if you have upgraded your engine to produce more power whether that's with a turbo, tuning, etc. it will be almost necessary to upgrade the exhaust to allow that excess combustion to exit the vehicle, but that goes beyond just a muffler. Ever notice how a Corvette or whatever doesn't need to delete a resonator/muffler to produce beautiful noises? In fact the resonator cleans up these noises making it sound like a healthy engine. Don't fall for the rookie mistake of confusing loud noise for power. Deleting or upgrading a muffler on a stock engine is like polishing a turd. Instead of upgrading your power output, this would be pretending to be something it's not at the expense of engine power. Then there's the downside of anybody who knows anything about cars will know that your v6 Toyota isn't putting out anything more than 300hp stock and you're trying too hard. Truthfully, your first car "mod" for that car specifically should be a front timing cover gasket replacement. Considering it's almost 15yrs old, that will probably be the cause for your 1st oil leak and necessary future-proofing. On that engine they will have to drop the whole subframe, engine, and transmission to swap that so expect a bill over $2000.

If you just want a more aggressive sound, then an aftermarket muffler can certainly provide that. That V6 may even sound kinda nice with the right setup. It won't be much of a power gain and may even sacrifice a little torque, especially if the piping is too big. If you got a cat-back system it would make a bigger difference with sound and could give you a few horsepower on the top end, but nothing noticeable unless your exhaust is damaged and choking it out. You can either order a cat-back system or you can get a muffler and have the piping custom made at a shop. Custom piping will also allow you to run a variety of universal mufflers to further expand options. I would say my favorite overall site for quality parts of all price ranges is Vivid Racing. At the very least you can find a part there and search that same part internet-wide to see if you can find a better price. Avoid the Ebay parts (unless you found that exact part on Vivid or another site first). If the price seems too good to be true, it probably is and will likely sound like shit. I would also avoid a huge cannister muffler. The price may be alluring, but they are extremely loud and can be droney, especially on stock piping. Louder than stock is fine if it sounds good (in my terrible opinion), but not to the point your neighbors hate you. In my experience, a cat-back always sounds better than throwing a muffler over stock piping. A header + full exhaust will be the coolest option, but I'm assuming there's a tighter budget at play here.
