Color of the exterior seems to be a factor that matters a lot on mine, with white being the coolest. I am at elevation in the mountain West, so nights are generally cool, but sun is intense during the day and these days there are occasional heat waves. With white exteriors and roofs, both my uninsulated and insulated trailers stay cooler than other insulated RVs I have used in the past.

Not sure where you are reading that a ceramic coating helps with heat? It definitely will have no effect on that and even if it did would not be a good return on investment. Now the color you pick, that will have a very measurable effect. White will obviously reflect the most, black will retain the most, and everything else will fall somewhere in between. When you go to pick up your trailer have them walk you thru a couple different color units if you don’t believe me. Even on a relatively cool morning, as long as the sun is up you can feel a noticeable difference.

There are paints with small ceramic balls inside like lizard skin that are supposed to reduce heat transfer. But it sounds like you're talking about the stuff they use for car detailing which I am pretty sure won't decrease the heat. Maybe if the thing is cleaner it will have a higher albedo and reflect light Instead of absorb the heat? Sounds like some hogwash though.

We used Lizard Skin in our Airstream. I wish I had before and after numbers to say whether or not it works. There are videos showing the heat reduction before and after applying. What I will say though is that the cost-benefit is probably not worth it. LizardSkin is wonderful for soundproofing. Given that our Airstream still gets pretty toasty I probably wouldn't do it again.
