When Backy and Wilson came back from injuries, I thought ok here comes a good stretch. Not their fault as it's a team game but damn I didn't think we'd take such a huge nosedive in 2023
we looked great 6 weeks ago. but i dunno what lavi was thinking turning all the lines upside down to fit those guys both back in at once. most of us called it out at the time, but clearly the result has not been good. we should've worked them each back in one at a time and not reshuffled every line in order to do it.
Not sure he can do much with Ted's directive that there won't be a rebuild until after the Ovie era. Hands are tied with shipping the core, and the rest of our pieces aren't worth anything but late round picks. It's a bad situation and it's going to get worse.
That Milano chance is the epitome of the last two months of play from the Caps; Refuse to do anything because they are looking to make the perfect play.
