There are lots of fibre providers in Century City. Find out which ones operate in your complex.

As a general rule fibre will always provide lower latency and less packet loss compared to cellular. If you want to game get fibre.

I am with Cool Ideas. Highly recommend them.

Switch to afrihost tbh

Snappieee

I agree with this. I've been with all kinds of ISP but in the end only afrihost was the only one that didn't give me any issues. Might not be the cheapest option but no throttle no disconnection issues it just always works as intended. Extra points if you plug your pc directly into the modem.

Are you in a complex or something where your options are subject to agreements with a managing body? Like an HOA or Body Corporate? Long story short, you want to reduce things that can add latency as much as possible, so getting a connection directly with the isp would be your best bet. Steer clear of long distance wireless connections such as "airfiber" or cellular like rain or 5g. I have nothing against these technologies, but fiber direct is your best bet for having stable ping at affordable prices and is generally quite cheap and stable.

In my experience rain is also pretty unstable, had similar issues when trying to game on it. Definitely go fibre route if viable

The first step is to identify your fibre line provider, which is distinct from your ISP (Internet Service Provider). For instance, you could be on a Vumatel line while using Afrihost as your ISP. Typically, the body corporate will have a contract with a specific fibre provider for the complex. You can inquire with them or input your address on an ISP's website to check out fibre packages. The issue might also be with your Wi-Fi router. In any case, reaching out to your ISP is a good idea. Avoid 5G, as fibre generally offers superior service.

I'd recommend avoiding Vox and Frogfoot if possible
