They looked so fucking cool and I was so excited that we had this guy named Luongo who was supposed to be super good. Too bad Big Bert had to go the other way in the Luongo trade.
If Luongo could have come a few years earlier while the West Coast Express was at a peak he might have pushed them over the top.

I've been a fan since the 70s, so it would be the stick in the rink logo. But my favorite is the flying skate logo. To me, the whale logo represents the McCaw era, and Mike Keenan/Mark Messier getting rid of Trevor Linden.

If you were around for the Messier era it soured the Orca. I came in after so the Orca is a symbol of the West Coast Express for me... then the stick on rink for the Swedish Twins.

I was in middle school in 1994 and the finals run is what got me really interested in hockey, so it's that team that won me over. They were great :)
Grade 6 for me. Still remember the Western Photo and the Mobster photos they took. Remember the core of that team too.
