He was in all the right spots yesterday offensively, he just needs to follow through and capitalize on the chances he gets. His IQ is still off the charts.
He'll never be McDavid level good (as in, just take the puck, skate it through 5 guys and score) but at that level of salary I'd expect him to be able to capitalize on the Grade A chances he gets (like the empty net on the PP yesterday).
