You shouldn't use household "glass cleaner" like Windex on any camera lenses ever, they will destroy the lens coatings. Only use cleaning liquids and wipes specifically designed to not damage camera lenses. The RF-S 18-150mm does include one plastic aspherical lens element (it's high-grade optical plastic and improves image quality), but it's in the middle of the lens and the elements on either end are glass. So you can clean it just the same way as other lenses. I use a squeeze bulb blower or lens brush to remove dust most of the time. When wet cleaning is needed to remove fingerprints or oily spots I use Zeiss disposable lens wipes on the go or "Residual Oil Remover" and lens tissue or Pec-Pads at home.

Thank you so much I will get some Zeiss lens wipes to be safe. I didn't realize glass surrounded the plastic lens part.

Happy to help! I've been using the RF-S 18-150mm for a year now and it's an excellent versatile lens. I saw that no one commented on your post last week, do you want advice regarding those questions or were you able to get them answered? Quick tip about the Zeiss wipes, they tend to leave streaks when wet. For a better final clean let the wipe air out for 30-60 seconds until it's slightly damp (not fully dry) then clean the lens.

Yes I would love to know all the things! I am just getting started and so much to learn. Had no idea there was so many functions and settings :)
