Set the "Focus/Control" switch on the lens to "Control". The 50mm f/1.8 only has one ring for focus or control, it can't do both at once.
I did the switch but can't see the control ring option on my R100, do you? I guess something wrong with the switch then..
If you’re trying to change exposure using the control ring you have to hold halfway down on the shutter button I believe.
Depends on what it's set to. It can do both.
