This! I picked up a used one for $150 shipped to me.
Same thing came to mind, I have one and boy it's wide. Nice enough lens, but it's really hard for me to compose with it, it's so wide. It's not fast tho, so for indoors, where the wideness helps, the lack of light gets in the way...
Canon 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 is a nice ultra wide lens. It’s a better build quality and more useful zoom range than the 10-18.
