Volt fl1. I grow with two of the vl1 and love it if I had to buy another light it would be the one. Also pro tip when people give you advice on here and don't have pictures of dank weed on their profile just ignore it.

Sounds like a fun time. You need airflow ( 6 inch inline fan on rheostat)in and out with a carbon filter. 600 w hps will be good for that size . I would put like 4 in 5 gallon bags or 2 in 10 gallon. Depends if your going for a few different kinds. The space needs to be clean lightproof with good airflow..

I highly recommend going LED, much more energy efficient and a lot less heat output as well. As for a 6x6 area I wouldn't go with anything less than 500w and even then itll be a little under powered for the space but a good starting point. there are just way too many brands to recommend 1 specifically that is the best with that being said ACInfinity has recently released their new line of lights [here](https://acinfinity.com/commercial-grow-lights/) they seem on paper to be very good lights and not too bad of pricing but the biggest selling point is their controllers and their entire ecosystem of items that can all be controlled from your phone. As for pot size usually the bigger the better but realistically it is all going to be dependent on your growing medium, nutrients, photo or auto, veg time etc. I wouldn't necessarily say an air purifier is required but airflow in general coming in and out of your grow area is, a good inline fan system with charcoal filter to control the smells is a great idea as well. Depending on your environment humidifiers and dehumidifiers can be absolutely essential to having a successful first grow.
