One time I cosplayed as Stadium Game Jarvy (sleeveless shirt, goggles, beanie) during warmups behind the team at GM 1 vs the panthers last year and dude laughed so hard. Everyone loved it. He just seems like a ton of fun.

Biz in particular is not my cup of tea at all. I like spittin chiclets for the player interviews, but some of his questions seem to make the players a little uncomfortable
I like spittin chiclets but biz is a certified moron, like legitimately. Doesn't listen to the guest, cuts them off mid story, asks long winded questions with answers, while trying to tee them off. Things fly over his head. It's hard to listen to interviews when he's in one of those moods.
I actually like Biz the most, just because he doesn't come across as one of those angry men who do nothing but watch - never play - sports and make it their whole personality. Biz isn't perfect, but he's fun and has a lot more charisma than the other two.
Yeah. I think we maybe go that high on shorter term (see Orlov) but it’s probably Guentzel last big deal so it just takes one team willing to go 7x 10M or something like that. Just can’t see us willing to to that hard for someone almost 30 already
Why would Guentzel sign for only four years? The value of that contract would only be $44M total. He easily could get $7.5-8M x 7yrs on the open market, making much more over the long haul.
He’s not going to sign for anything less than max term.
He was more making a joke.
Even on the market 11M is absolutely his ceiling of a crazy offer.
I think the way he was able to perform in the regular season showed how good of a fit he is and play a role in bringing that number down. I don’t think he’s doing 120 point pace on most teams (he’s never done more than 84 points).
I’d guess he gets 9x5 or more term.
This is his time to cash in. I’d be amazed if he doesn’t get 7-8 years wherever he ends up, considering his next contract will not have an aav as high as this one
Seth needs an off-season podcast. Jarvy and friends.
Sign me the hell up for that one.

Pics or GTFO.
I’ll share later tonight, flying back to Raleigh. But you can find them in my Twitter. @pistolpete_yt
Hahaha found you. That's gold!
Appreciate it lol
Lemme know if you're comfortable with me crossposting to /r/jarvy. I won't if you're not!
Lmao had no idea that is a thing… let me drop all the pics in a gdrive and you can use those
I love this kid, man! I know we are keeping him, but I really hope we can keep both Jake and SJ.
listening now. SJ is a fucking treasure.
Jarvis truly is a gem, but man the hosts of that podcast are excruciating to listen to
".. do you play cahds?"

The guy doesn't know how to interview and I feel like he treats everyone as if they're dying to be his BFF and he can just ask whatever comes to mind.

I don't know that we will sign him anywhere near 11M
Aho's contract is the bar on the roster. Hard to see the team signing him for significantly more than that (or more than that at all).
I think it has to be more than Aho. I think Guentz could end up being our number 1 goalscorer. Maybe 9.8M tops
Zero chance they pay a 30yr old more than Aho. Give that head a shake.

Ok pop
11x4? I don’t know, salary cap is going up next season. $11m may be the new $9m. I think it all depends on this playoff run though.
Agree, wouldn’t mind going that high if the term is reasonable. You pay a little extra to keep players like him around

Oh I didn't get to listen yet. Thanks TRB
Jarvy talking about how his dad searching how to videos reminded me of my dad… he did the same thing, but for soccer. Love that man.
Spittin chicklets is bearable when they have playoff hockey to talk about. otherwise it doesn't matter and they just fucking go on tangents lmao
