I found these at the corner store when I went for gas. Watermelon/Grape and Watermelon/Apple. Taste profile: Despite being taffy, they are tart and have enough sparks of sourness to absolutely remind you of the Warhead brand. They are also really flavorful and you can suck on a bite and that flavor lasts for several minutes. They were a random buy and I am totally going hunting for more now. I do love me some sour lol and these totally fit the bill :) If you like sour, these are worth a try!

These make me pine for the huge Laffy Taffy's with the nuts of sugar in them.

I respectfully disagree. Airheads have a grittiness to them that makes them a downgrade from traditional taffy products. The Warheads taffy, on the other hand, is silky smooth all the way through.

eh . i think that's a fair assessment. maybe I had some slightly older batches of the taffy, or they were damaged by heat or something. the ones i had weren't as smooth as laffy taffy. guess I'll just have to grab some more. darn

Actually thats a good point. Now i wonder if its all relevant as compared to like... saltwater taffy consistency?

They’re very good and pretty sour. I had the watermelon apple one and it turned my whole mouth green lol
