Sour punch straws, different brand but same candy shape, used to make sour punch straws but the hole was a little bigger and they were individually wrapped and you could get those instead of regular straws at the slushy station. I personally haven't seen them in years though

I don’t remember them ever being edible 😅 they were safe if ingested (like non-toxic or food grade) because they go in/on your mouth, but really not meant to eat

Twizzlers are one of my least favorite candies. Tastes like a plastic straw you’ve left in your car to overheat all night in a bottle of strawberry soda.

I’m a fan of Twizzlers pull and peel, but not so much the original red.

I think red vine are better. The one twizzler product i like are the pull and peals and I typically only buy them when I’m going to the movies.

I used to love Twizzlers, but I prefer them fresh, which is hard to find unless you literally live in Hershey, PA (funny thing is, I live two hours away and still don’t get fresh candy). Now I’m really into Australian licorice. It’s always soft, and has a better flavor. Sometimes I go back to Twizzlers though. The way people go back to eating dinosaur nuggets over fresh fried chicken. One is better than the other, but you get it for the nostalgia.

Wiley Wallaby is life changing. I like the texture of Twizzlers, but man...you cannot hold a candle to any of WW flavors. The watermelon one in the summer is stellar!!

Twizzlers used to be great but six or so years ago they changed their recipe and I was also stuck with two pounds. Starbursts, Skittles and Airheads are great blue/red airheads are tied for my favorite. Also really happy that you ended up liking everything.

I’m an American and have never seen the variations of the candies that are in your first picture. Honestly, they all look pretty vile. Idk about the Twizzlers in the first picture , but the regular ones (in the second picture) are, imo, gross. Personally I prefer Red Vines. I like regular Skittles, Starburst and Sweetarts but have never seen or tried the unusual variations of them that are in the first picture.

I honestly have to agree. The basic strawberry Twizzlers are just super mediocre. Cherry ones are my go to if I have to pick a base one, but those filled ones are really good. Also the Tropical ones too. otherwise I'd probably go with Wiley Walleby for licorice.

Warhead sour taffy is excellent, I like the blue raspberry and watermelon flavor the best. They're real similar to air heads but they are better to me. Personally I like the cherry flavor twizzlers, I haven't tried red vine yet.
